Extremely stable and moderatly powerful, a good choice for the beginner on the first few missions. Operation: Lock on and shooting till they fall. All ranges. Comments: A reliable choice for an player at an stage, this little gun is not to be underestimated. Dual Wield for extra power. This also makes for an excellent source of extra 9mm bullets. G-17 -------------------- Rank To Aquire-R2 Ammo-9mm Fire Rate-4 Damage-3 Range-4 Lock-on Characteristics: 4 Body-5 Head-4 Clip Size-12 Total Capacity-144 Zoom- none Description: Do not use this weapon, as it is weaker than the 92F, and has the same stats otherwise. Operation: Put it away, or use something else. Comments: Just don't use this. At all. Desert Express .50 ------------------------------- Rank To Aquire- Ammo-.50 Action Express Fire Rate-2 Damage-5 Range-4 Lock-on Characteristics: 3 Body-4 Head-3 Clip Size-7 Total Capacity-35 Zoom- none Description: A powerful handgun with knockback abilities. Takes a while to lock on, but it's mostly 1 shot kill. Due to the heavy recoil, crouch when firing. Operation: Close and Medium Range. This is not the best choice for a long range gunfight though. Comments: If you have Dual Wield, drop one of your guns, since it will reduce your accuracy because it is one hit kill, and the second bullet will miss. Shares ammo with the M82 BFG sniper rifle. Jerico-41 ----------------------- Rank To Aquire- Ammo-9mm Fire Rate-4 Damage-4 Range-4 Lock-on Characteristics: 4 Body-4 Head-4 Clip Size- Total Capacity- Zoom- none Description: A suprising good pistol that you can require at low rank, so you can basically use this pistol as your sidearm for most missions until you aquire a Desert pistol. Operation: Lock on and wait till cursor goes green. Then, fire away, as this pistol is very stable. Comments: Dual Wielding these are quite useful, as 2 bullets from this gun will kill an enemy, so what better way to do that then with 2 guns? Mark 23 ----------------- Rank To Aquire- Ammo- .45 Fire Rate-2 Damage-5 Range-3 Lock-on Characteristics: 3 Body-3 Head-3 Clip Size-12 Total Capacity-144 Zoom- none Description: A powerful .45 pistol. Use this to replace your sidearm until you aquire a Desert Handgun. A bulldozer if you use with dual wield. Operation: Crouch, Aim , Fire, Reload, Repeat. Simple handgun to use. Comments: This thing is a mini cannon. Can blow away flak jackets like they were made of nothing. Unarmed units can be taken out easily with this. The sound is a little dull though. 93R ----------------- Rank To Aquire- Ammo- 9mm Fire Rate-4 Damage-4 Range-3 Lock-on Characteristics: 3 Body-3 Head-3 Clip Size-13 Total Capacity-156 Zoom- none Description: A burst fire handgun. 3 shot rounds. Looks like a modified 9mm handgun. Operation: Crouch, wait until reticle goes green. Fire 2 bursts, then re-adjust your aim again. Though you might think so, this weapon actually sucks with manual aim. Comments: Ugly, inefective, weak, and ammo waster. Dual wield this if you want to destroy your accuracy rating. This COULD have been a nice sidearm. Shame, really. M1911 A1 ------------------- Rank To Aquire- Ammo- .45 Fire Rate-2 Damage-5 Range-4 Lock-on Characteristics: 4 Body-4 Head-3 Clip Size-8 Total Capacity-40 Zoom- none Description: A powerful automatic .45 pistol. Operation: Crouch, aim, and fire off 4 shots, before readjusting your aim. Reload only when the clip is empty. Comments: More powerful then the Mark 23. The only problem is, that it has really low ammo capacity, so you shouldn't use this as your main weapon. Instead, treat it like what it's supposed to be, a sidearm. CZ Mach-9 ---------------------- Rank To Aquire- Ammo- 9mm Fire Rate-5 Damage-2 Range-3 Lock-on Characteristics: 3 Body-3 Head-3 Clip Size-32 Total Capacity-288 Zoom- none Description: Automatic pistol boasting a large clip. Operation: Aim, crouch, fire short, automatic bursts. This will bring down a traget quickly, but will have trouble against flak jackets. Comments: A great pistol to have, if you want to have extra 9mm ammo for other weapons. Not a bad weapon, but there are better ones. Desert Eliminator .357 ----------------------------------- Rank To Aquire- Ammo- .357 Fire Rate-2 Damage-5 Range-4 Lock-on Characteristics: 4 Body-4 Head-3 Clip Size-12 Total Capacity-144 Zoom- none Description: AH! A pistol that has the power of then M19, but the ammo capcity of a Mark 23. A perfect mix. A great weapon. Operation: Aim, and fire. Suprising low recoil for such a big gun. Comments: A great pistol to have. Powerful, stable, and tons of ammo. You can use only this, and still get through a stage. Looks damn cool too! Duals are a little overkill, but you can easily drop one. PPK ------------------- Rank To Aquire- Ammo- 9mm Fire Rate-4 Damage-4 Range-4 Lock-on Characteristics:4 Body-4 Head-3 Clip Size-12 Total Capacity-48 Zoom- none Description: A sidearm best suited for use in stealth missions. Powerful enough for a stealth mission. Has just enough ammo. Operation: Go for a headshot if you can. If you can't, see the green, and fire like mad! Comments: Bond, James Bond. Stylish with Minsk. Dual-Wield isn't required, but always safer. Desert Sniper .44 -------------------------------- Rank To Aquire- Ammo- .44 Fire Rate-2 Damage-5 Range-4 Lock-on Characteristics:4 Body-4 Head-3 Clip Size-10 Total Capacity-50 Zoom- yes Description: The only sniping pistol. Quite powerful too. A desert pistol which has been fitted with a scope. Operation: Go zoom in for headshots, but if you miss, chances are that you'll hit them and kill them anyways. Auto aim is the same as the .50 pistol. Comments: I love how this gun can send enemies flying!. Great for crowd control. The only problem is that, this gun eats up ammo faster then i would have thought. Mark 23 SD -------------------------- Rank To Aquire- Ammo- .45 Fire Rate-2 Damage-4 Range-4 Lock-on Characteristics:4 Body-4 Head-4 Clip Size-12 Total Capacity-144 Zoom- no Description: The ultimate stealth combat pistol. Powerful, silent, stable. What more could someone want? Operation: Crouch, fire, reload. decent sized clip. Reload after you dispose of each enemy, unless there are multiple enemies, and you can't reload. Comments: This is the 2nd best pistol. I switch between this, and the Desert .357. You should use this to replace the PPK on stealth missions. Packs quite a punch. Very accurate. Can perform 1 hit kills. Dual-Wield is overkill. I think that you should choose to drop a pistol before performing the mission. SP-57 ------------------ Rank To Aquire- Ammo- 5.7 Fire Rate-2 Damage-5 Range-3 Lock-on Characteristics:3 Body-3 Head-3 Clip Size-20 Total Capacity-90 Zoom- no Description: A 5-7 pistol aquired in the lower ranks. Operation: Crouch, fire, fire, fire. Comments: I would only use this for more ammo for the P90. While it does have lots of ammo and is powerful, it is extremely slow. Submachine Guns ---------------------------- Assault Rifles ------------------------ AU300 H-BAR ------------------------- Rank To Acquire- DCO (T2) Ammo- 5.56 NATO Fire Rate- V Damage- IV Range- Long Lock-on Characteristics: Body- V Head- V Clip Size- 42 Total Capacity- 210 Zoom- 6.0 Fixed Description- This is another modification of the AU300 rifles that has a heavier barrel for the light machine gun role. It has a flash suppressor that reduces recoil and rise during sustained firing and it has an attachment for a night vision scope. The AUG/HB fires from a closed bolt position making single shots extremely accurate. Operation- Simply put, this is the mac-daddy of assault rifles. The AU300 H-BAR can easily aquire any target at any range and sustain the accuracy to put the target down in only a few shots. The fixed zoom makes for precision long-range shooting, while the superb lock-on characteristics make it ideal for close to long-range offfensive roles as either a main assault weapon or as a light area-saturation support role. That being said, the gun is not intended for defensive roles at any range. AU300 Mod-R ----------------------- Rank To Acquire- Agency Rating Advanced Combat Sharp Shooter (ACSS) Ammo- 5.56 NATO Fire Rate- V Damage- IV Range- Long Lock-on Characteristics: Body- V Head- V Clip Size- 30 Total Capacity- 150 Zoom- 6.0 Fixed (Thermal) Description- The benefit of the AU300 family is interchangeabillity. This rifle is basically an AU300 Mod-SMG with a longer barrel made to fit the standard 5.56 NATO round. This version is a standard infantry rifle of several international armies and fires in full auto. Operation- The AU300 Mod-R is equipped with a Thermal scope that makes medium to long-range night combat easier, but can also confuse the operator if used at a close-range. The weapon is great for offensive roles in large, open areas, but fails to deliver in the defensive role, and in tighter areas. AU300 Mod-SMG ---------------------------- Rank To Acquire- F0 (01) Ammo- 9mm Fire Rate- IV Damage- IV Range- Medium Lock-on Characteristics: Body- V Head- V Clip Size- 30 Total Capacity- 150 Zoom- 6.0 Fixed Description- This weapon uses the very efficient bull pup design which places the magazine in the stock of the rifle. This allows for a longer barrel to be placed into a shorter weapon. It has an integral optical sight and a forward grip, which both aid in aiming and accuracy. The long barrel and bull pup design makes this weapon easy to control and ensures a high hit probability. Operation- Just like the name describes, this is an Assault Rifle that has been modified to mimic the effect of a Sub-machine gun. The weapon locks on to a target with relative ease and has a slower firing rate than most other Assault Rifles, which increases it's accuracy. While the weapon is more than capable of hitting a target accurately at a long range, the weapon is best suited for a medium defensive role. It should also be kept in mind that while the 9mm amunition the AU300 Mod-SMG uses is quite easy to find, it is also quite weak and will take three or more shots to eliminate the most weakest of enemies. The optical sight aids in hitting long-range targets, but the recol experienced while firing in full-auto can make it difficult to keep track of a target, especially one who is in motion. C11 ------------------ Rank To Acquire- United Nations Peace Award Medal Ammo- 4.7 Caseless Fire Rate- V Damage- IV Range- Medium Lock-on Characteristics: Body- V Head- V Clip Size- 50 Total Capacity- 200 Zoom- 6.0, 8.0, 12.0 Fixed Description- This weapon is a product of decades of research and is one of the most advanced weapons ever made. The main demand behind its development was the need for a rifle with a high hit rate. The C11 uses specially designed caseless ammo that consists of a ball round imbedded into a solid propellant. Because of this the C11 can fire a 3-round burst before the rifle has a chance to experience recoil. This ensured that the entire burst will hit their mark exactly where the user intended. The IPCA version of the C11 comes preset to 3-round burst, has an integral scope and has a 50-round magazine capacity. Operation- The C11's rate of fire is astounding, as multiple pulls of the trigger will cause the entire 50-round magazine to empty in less than five seconds. While decently accurate at close-ranges, the gun is ineffective at a long-range unless the scope is used, and this is offset due to the 3-round trigger group. This makes it a less-than-adequate choice for offensive roles. This does make it a perfect defensive weapon, but ammunition for the weapon is also very hard to come by, and since the C11 burns through ammunition so fast, it's not recommended for lengthy missions, and should be used as a light backup saturation weapon only. C8 rifle ------------------- Rank To Acquire- Agency Rating Elite Combat Specialist (ECS2) Ammo- 7.62 NATO Fire Rate- III Damage- V Range- Long Lock-on Characteristics: Body- V Head- V Clip Size- 50 Total Capacity- 250 Zoom- Telescopic Scope Description- This is one of the most versatile weapons ever made. It has a heavy barrel so can be used for assault or double as a sniper rifle. It can fire semi-auto or 1-round burst and can accept a drum magazine. The heavy hitting 7.62mm caliber and reliable accuracy makes this weapon a formidable foe to any on the other side of it's barrel. Operation- The C8 rifle is powerful enough to eliminate any soft target with a single shot, regardless of where they are hit, and a flak vest is easily destroyed in two to three shots. The lock-on characteristics boasted by the C8 rifle make it one of the easiest weapons to use, as it instantly acquires any target at even the longest of ranges, and has a very large magazine capacity. The accuracy of this weapon makes it great at close or long range combat in either an offensive or defensive role, and the scope makes it ideal for sniping roles, making this the most versatile weapon in the game. Take care not abuse the high ammo capacity however, because additional amunition for this weapon is extremely scarce. China type 56 ----------------------- Rank To Acquire- Republic of Korea Service Award Medal Ammo- 7.62 Fire Rate- V Damage- IV Range- Short Lock-on Characteristics: Body-IV Head- II Clip Size- 30 Total Capacity- 160 Zoom- N/A Description- This is another obvious clone of the AK-47 with the main difference being a reduced rate of fire. This quality makes this rifle easier to control in full auto fire situations and also increases the damage dealt at close ranges. Most other AK models will blow through a close-range target, and while it causes a great deal of trauma, most of the bullet's energy is never delivered to the victim. The slower rate of fire gives the China 56 a higher close range incapacitation rate than its cousins. Operation- This weapon packs some punch, but loses it's accuracy very quickly, forcing it into a defensive role. This weapon does not perform very well under the best of cercumstances, so it is advised that you use it against single enemies one at a time. Comments- This weapon performs best when fired from the First-person view mode, as the accuracy is maintained and the extreme firepower will shread a target in an instant. China type 67 ------------------------ Rank To Acquire- Commendation: Lian Xing Ammo- Type 64 rimless 7.62 Fire Rate- IV Damage- III Range- Medium Lock-on Characteristics: Body- V Head- V Clip Size- 12 Total Capacity- 60 Zoom- N/A Description- This is an improved version of the Type 64. It fires a special subsonic 7.62mm round called the Type 64. Operation- The China type 67 operates more like a pistol than anything, but has the maneuverability of a submachine gun. It locks on any target quite fast, but lacks the power or ammunition to make this a very decent weapon for either offensive or defensive roles. Use this weapon at your own discretion. FAL --------- Rank To Acquire- Agency Rating Expert Combat Specialist (ECS1) Ammo- 7.62 NATO Fire Rate- V Damage- V Range- Long Lock-on Characteristics: Body- V Head- IV Clip Size- 24 Total Capacity- 192 Zoom- N/A Description- This heavy hitting weapon is one of the most recognizable rifles in the world. Second only to the AK-47 in terms of units produced, this firearm has been adopted by over 70 armies and can easily be modified to user specifications. The FAL is a light weapon and therefore difficult to control in full auto firing mode. Most users fire single shots, which greatly improves accuracy. This version is set to fire full auto, but sustained fire is not recommended. Operation- The FAL has great range and lock-on characteristics that make it a great choice for long-range offensive combat, but takes too long to bring to bear on a target any closer than a few metres, making it a poor choice ofr close-range combat, and defensive roles. Comments- It is stronmgly recommended that you fire this weapon in short bursts, rather than in sustained full automatic fire. FA-MAS ----------------- Rank To Acquire- Agency Rating Advanced Combat Specialist (ACS) Ammo- 5.56 NATO Fire Rate- V Damage- IV Range- Medium Lock-on Characteristics: Body- IV Head- III Clip Size- 25 Total Capacity- 125 Zoom- N/A Description- The FA-MAS is the standard French Army infantry rifle and employs the very efficient bull pup design with the magazine inserted into the stock. This greatly improves accoracy for semi auto fire. The FA-MAS loses this improved accuracy during sustained full auto firing. Operation- The FA-MAS is a good choice for offensivle taking down groups of single targets from a close to medium-range. It's power and accuracy make it a decent choice for close-quarter combat, but doesn't perform as well in a defensive role although it can handle under both situations. G 33E ------------ Rank To Acquire- Agency Rating Intermediat Combat Specialist (ICS) Ammo- 5.56 NATO Fire Rate- IV Damage- IV Range- Medium Lock-on Characteristics: Body- IV Head- III Clip Size- 24 Total Capacity- 120 Zoom- N/A Description- The 33E is a full auto version of the G3 rifle chambered for the 5.56 NATO round. It has less recoil and is more accurate than the G3, but is less deadly due to the smaller cartridge size. Operation- This weapon is very basic, offering a decent accuracy and damage rating. The G 33E can operate in either a medium-range offensive or defensive role, but doesn't tip the scales on either side, making it perfect for beginners, but is quickly outdone by most other weapons in the IPCA arsenal. G 53 --------- Rank To Acquire- Commendation: Teresa Lipan Ammo- 5.56 NATO Fire Rate- V Damage- V Range- Short to Long Lock-on Characteristics: Body- V Head- V Clip Size- 30 Total Capacity- 150 Zoom- N/A Description- This is an extremely small and compact rifle. It is often considered a submachine gun but packs the punch of an assault rifle because it's chambered for the 5.56 NATO standard rifle round. Often mistaken for a submachine gun due to its short length, this weapon can be stored in the thigh holster to make room on the back for additional rfiles or gear. Operation- Because of the incredible performance of this weapon in all aspects, the G 53 is easily adaptable to both offensive and defensive roles at any range. M16 A1 -------------- Rank To Acquire- IO1 (O2) Ammo- 5.56 NATO Fire Rate- III Damage- V Range- Long Lock-on Characteristics: Body-IV Head-III Clip Size- 24 Total Capacity- 120 Zoom- N/A Description- This is a greatly improved model over its predecessor, although it still has a high failure rate when used in extreme environmental conditions. It is controllable and accurate during semi auto fire and has been the main infantry weapon of the US and other countries for several decades. Comparisons are often made between the M16 and the Russian AK-47. While the AK has better stopping power and functions reliably in extreme environments, it cannot stand up to the M16's precision accuracy at long ranges. Operation- The M16 A1's semi-automatic trigger group makes this weapon very controllable if the user knows how to operate it properly. If not, it could get them killed. The weapon will take no more than a few shots to put down an armoured target, and takes less than a second to aquire a long-range target, however the operator must stay still in order to maintain this accuracy. This weapon serves well as a medium-range offensive weapon, or as a long-range defensive weapon. M16 A2 ------------- Rank To Acquire- IS2 (C3) Ammo- 5.56 NATO Fire Rate- V Damage- V Range- Long Lock-on Characteristics: Body- V Head- III Clip Size- 30 Total Capacity- 150 Zoom- 2.0 Fixed Description- This is an improved M16 A1 with a heavier barrel, built in flash suppressor, and is set to fire full auto and in 3-round bursts. The A2 is the current service model of the US military and it gave soldiers fighting in the second Gulf War the advantage over the AK-47 because they could dig in outside the effective range of the enemy and pick them off with little fear of being hit by the inaccurate Iraqi weapons. Operation- The M16 A2's lock-on characteristics are quite similar to those of the M4. The main difference is that the gun's accuracy is lower, allowing it to perform at a better overall range. This gun should not be compared to the M16 A1 however, due to the automatic trigger group. The M16 A2 performs best at medium to long-range offensive roles, but handles poorly in a defensive role. M4 carbine ------------------- Rank To Acquire- IS1 (C2) Ammo-5.56 NATO Fire Rate- IV Damage- V Range- Medium Lock-on Characteristics: Body- V Head- IV Clip Size- 24 Total Capacity- 120 Zoom- N/A Description- The M4 is a carbine version of the M16A2. The M4 is better suited to close quarters and urban combat than the M16 due to it's shorter size. It is easy to maneuver through tight spaces and is easier to aquire close range targets. This particular model has the stock fully collapsed and can fire full auto. Operation- The M4 carbine is basically a smaller, more compact version of the M4. The main difference between the two from a performance stand-point is the fact that the carbine version's accuracy is much lower, while the targeting system allows for a faster capture rate, making this weapon better suited for close-range defensive role. M4 -------------- Rank To Acquire- IOC1 (C5) Ammo- 5.56 NATO Fire Rate- V Damage- V Range- Long Lock-on Characteristics- Body-V Head-III Clip Size- 30 Total Capacity- 150 Zoom- Telescopic Scope Description- This is a shorter barreled version of the M16A2 and is fit with a sliding stock. This particular model has the stock fully extended and is set to full auto. Unfortunately, due to the shorter size of the weapon, the flash suppressor ahs been replaced with a rise compensator to handle the extra recoil of a lighter weapon. Operation-The M4 is a raw assault weapon. The lock-on characteristics of this weapon make engaging multiple targets a breeze, and the scope makes for easy long-range shooting. However, this makes the gun lose efficiency gun at closer ranges, and should only be used for long-range offensive combat. SSG 550 --------------- Rank To Acquire- IAS1 (08) Ammo- 5.56 NATO Fire Rate- V Damage- IV Range- Medium Lock-on Characteristics: Body- III Head- II Clip Size- 24 Total Capacity- 120 Zoom- N/A Description- The 550 is the official Swiss Army rifle and comes equipped with a folding stock, additional storage space for extra clips, and is set to automatic fire. Operation- This weapon is powerful enough to make it useful as a support or defensive weapon, but its poor lock-on characteristics make this a poor choice for offensive roles. Stava M70 B1 ------------------------ Rank To Acquire- DCO (C6) Ammo-7.62 Fire Rate- V Damage- IV Range- Medium Lock-on Characteristics: Body- III Head- III Clip Size- 32 Total Capacity- 160 Zoom- N/A Description- Further proof that the powerful and deadly AK-47 rifle has earned the reputation of the most manufactured and widely distributed rifle in history, the M70 is more or less a direct imitation of the classic AK. Manufactured throughout the Balkans, the M70 has only a few subtle differences that set it apart, such as a slightly lower firing rate and a rise compensator to help control muzzle climb. Operation- The Stava M70 B1 lacks both power and accuracy, but the slower rate of fire help balance this weapon out. Make no mistake that hitting your target will be pure luck if the operator is moving while firing, so this weapon needs to be in the hands of a stationary agent. While completely useless in an offensive role, this weapon does prove itself to be a decent defensive weapon at close-range, but anything further than a few metres will be hard to hit unless fired at in first-person view. In the hands in a novice, this weapon can easily get you killed, but an experienced agent can make this a very useful weapon. Comments- To properly operate this weapon, it is recommended that you fire from a stationary position at a stationary target in 3-round bursts. If operated in this manner, the Stava M70 B1 is a very good defensive weapon. Shotguns ---------------- Sniper rifles ------------------- ACR ----------- Rank To Acquire- Agency Rating Expert Combat Sharp Shooter (ECSS1) Ammo- 5.56 Flechette Fire Rate- II Damage- V Clip Size- 15 Total Capacity- 90 Zoom- 6.0, 8.0, 12.0 Fixed Description- The Advanced Combat Rifle looks similar to the Au300 series and serves in an anti-material role. It fires a small fin-stabilized Steel-Tungsten alloy flechette at an extreme velocity with a relatively flat trajectory, making this the most acurate and destructive light firearm in the world. Operation- The ACR's scope allows for rapid zero-and-zoom capabilities making it very fast in identifying and capturing a target, and the rapid semi automatic fire rate make putting down a hostle, or multiple hostles very quick and easy. The weapon is also powerful enough to put down a soft target in one to two shots. The only offset is the fact that the 5.56 Flechette ammunition is exclusive to this gun, making it near impossible to aquire more if needed. Dragunov ---------------------- Rank To Acquire- Agency Rating Intermediate Combat Sharp Shooter (ICSS) Ammo- 7.62 Fire Rate- II Damage- V Clip Size- 6 Total Capacity- 36 Zoom- 12.0 Telescopic Description- This rifle is based on the Kalashnikov and is chambered for the 7.62mm Russian certridge. The western world first learned of this weapon in Vietnam when Russian Spetznaz ran several covert operations in the region. This is one of the most accurate and reliable sniper rifles in the world. It usually comes equipped with the PSO-1 scope, but can accept other Russian optics as well. Operation- The Dragunov is powerful enough to take out most enemies in two to three shots regardless of where they are hit, but the slow zooming action of its scope, and the slow fire rate makes it difficult to effectivly hit a target who is aware of the shooter's presence. The ammunition carried is small, and also hard to come by, making this a limited-use rifle unless 7.62 ammunition is readily available. DSC-1 ------------- Rank To Acquire- President's Official Liberty Award Medal Ammo- 7.62 NATO Fire Rate- II Damage- V Clip Size- 8 Total Capacity- 40 Zoom- 12.0 Telescopic Description- This is considered one of the best long range rifles. The DSC-1 uses the same roller-locked delayed blowback system as most other rifles from this maker, but the components are of much better quality. It has a heavy and long barrel and uses four-groove polygon system which reduces bullet friction. This, combined with the long and heavy barrel, allows the bullet to reach higher velocities and have a much farther effective range. It has a very comfortable pistol grip, adjustable cheek rest and a hair trigger. Operation- This rifle's scope operates quite quickly, and the bullet is powerful enough to take out a soft target in a single hit. The recoil experienced after firing is quite high, so firing multiple rounds accurately is difficult. For this reason, the DSC-1 is better suited for taking out single targets, or multiple stationary targets. FAL SG-1 ----------------- Rank To Acquire- Homeland Security Citation Medal Ammo- 7.62 NATO Fire Rate- V Damage- V Clip Size- 30 Total Capacity- 150 Zoom- 12.0 Telescopic Description- This is a modified FAL assault rifle with a heavier barrel for extra stability in a sniping role. It's set to single fire only, but can fire several rounds a second. It's only limited by how fast the firer can pull the trigger. The FAL SG has quite an intimidating sound when fired and is also very effective in an assault rifle role. Operation- This is the ideal choice for taking out groups of multiple targets from a distance. The incredibly fast fire rate is among the highest of any of the IPCA's sniper rifles, and is decently powerful, making it the cream of the crop when it comes to offensive sniper rifles. The scope is a little more difficult to manage than the rest of the sniper rifles, especially when engaging multiple hostles, so novices should avoid using this rifle. Galil SG-1 ------------------- Rank To Acquire- Mossad Friend to Peace Medal Ammo- 5.56 NATO Fire Rate- III Damage- V Clip Size- 8 Total Capacity- 48 Zoom- 4.0, 6.0, 8.0, 12.0 Fixed Description- The barrel of this weapon is heavier than most and has a strong bipod to support it. The Galil is so accurate that it can put all of its shots into a 4-inch circle at 300 meters. It has a muzzle break to reduce recoil and the break can be removed to equip a silencer in its place. Its trigger system can be adjusted for various pull-off pressures and the stock has a shoulder pad cheek rest for greater accuracy. Operation- The Galil SG-1's scope operates much like the ACR's, though at a much slower rate. The gun is powerful enough to take down a soft target in a few shots, and the abundance of 5.56 NATO ammunition makes the utilization of the fast fire rate an asset in the role of defensive sniping. M82 BFG ------------------ Rank To Acquire- Agency Rating Elite Combat Sharp Shooter (ECSS2) Ammo- .50 Browning Fire Rate- I Damage- V Clip Size- 8 Total Capacity- 48 Zoom- 12.0 Telescopic Description- Also known as the 'Light Fifty", this weapon is semi-automatic equipped with a muzzle break that reduces recoil by 65%. The .50 caliber bullet is close to 3 inches long and is one of the most powerful rounds available. Operation- The M82 BFG has the longest range of all of the IPCA's rifles, capable of hitting a target far outside of their own weapon's effective range, and perhaps that of the operator's team-mates. The sheer power of the weapon is demonstrated by it's ability to tear through multiple hostiles and kill most armoured targets with a single shot. Care should be taken with this weapon to ensure that your target is hit with the first shot due to the very slow firing rate. SR-15 ------------ Rank To Acquire- Commendation: Gary Stoneman Ammo- 5.56 NATO Fire Rate- II Damage- V Clip Size- 1 Total Capacity- 2 Zoom- Description- This rifle belongs to IPCA IOC Stoneman and is the earliest modle of an M16-type weapon produced. Stone cracked the scope 15 years back and never bothered to repair it; he feels it gives the rifle character. Upon handing his rifle over to a new Field Agent, he removed the clip and gave the rookie a single bullet, saying: 'A professional needs only one bullet to do a job. You need two? Get a new line of work.' Operation- The SR-15 is accurate enough, but with the limitation on ammunition, the operator is forced to feed the rifle from a seperate weapon, requiring reloading after each shot. While this greatly improves the accuracy of the weapon and the user, it's only useful when engaging single targets when they are unaware of the shooter's presence. What's more is that the rifle is not guaranteed to kill all soft targets in the single shot that is given, and thus the SR-15 should not be used by anyone other than professional Elite Combat Sharp Shooters. The only real advantage this weapon offers is a slightly larger window, allowing for a wider field of vision. Heavy Weapons ----------------------------- M-249 SAW ---------------------- Weapon Type- Light Machine Gun Rank To Acquire- Agency Medal of Valor Ammo- 5.56 NATO Fire Rate- V Damage- III Range-Medium Lock-on Characteristics: Body- IV Head- IV Clip Size- 200 Total Capacity- 600 Zoom- 4.0 Fixed Description- This machinegun was adopted by the US military in the early 1990s and comes equipped with a 200-round box. The most significant difference between this and the M60 is the ammo size. It may pack less of a punch, but has greater accuracy and distance over the M60. Operation- This is mainly a defensive asset that serves well in providing heavy and sustained fire over large groups of hostiles. The lock-on characteristics are decent enough to use against a small group of hostles, but the gun operates much better in First-person view. -M79- Weapon Type- Grenade Launcher Rank To Acquire- Agency Rating Elite Tactical Explosives Expert (ETXS2) Ammo- 40mm Grenade Cartridge Fire Rate- N/A Damage- V Range- Long Lock-on Characteristics: Body- V Head- V Clip Size- 1 Total Capacity- 15 Zoom- N/A Description- This weapon fires a variety of 40mm cartridges, but the most commonly used one is the M79 Fragmentation Grenade Cartridge. This grenade is filled with Composition-B and has a kill radius of 5 meters, but can substantially wound and incapacitate out to 15 meters. The M-79 is a break-open weapon that fires from the shoulder and requires reloading after each round fired. Operation- The M79 fires grenade rounds in a straight line towards its target. The round will destroy large groups of armoured enemies with ease, and the straight path of trajectory makes it very easy to handle. While it boasts some pretty impressive lock-on characteristics, the round will often miss a moving target, potentially harming or killing nearby civilians or team-mates. For this reason, it is advised that you fire only at stationary targets unless you are aiming in First-person view. Remember not to fire at a target to close to your agent or you may cause harm or even death to yourself and/or others in your vicinity. Be weary of the small ammunition capacity as well. MGL ------------ Weapon Type- Multiple Grenade Launcher Rank To Acquire- Special Agency Rating Elite Military Tactics Expert (SAMTE) Ammo- 40mm Grenade Cartridge Fire Rate- II Damage- V Range- Short Lock-on Characteristics: Body- I Head- II Clip Size- 5 Total Capacity- 65 Zoom- N/A Description- This weapon is a revolver system that accepts the same 40mm explosive grenade cartridges as the M-79. They cylinder can hold 5 cartridges and it cycles to the next round after the current one is fired. Operation- This grenade launcher differs from the the M79 in one main aspect: it has a very short range with low trajectory, with the round landing only a few meters away from your agent when fired straight ahead. While this may cause the MGL to be a difficult weapon to use in the hands of a novice, an expert can utilize the arc of the grenade to drop rounds behind enemy cover from a safe location or target specific areas on the map with no fear of hitting unwanted obstacles that the M79 would otherwise encounter. Extreme caution should be taken while using this weapon, as a single poorly-targeted shot can easily kill or wound you, a team-mate, nearby civilians, or mission-critical characters. TH3 Blaster ------------------- Weapon Type- Flame Thrower Rank To Acquire- The Golden Cross of Russia Medal Ammo- N/A Fire Rate- --- Damage- V Range- Long Lock-on Characteristics: Body- V Head- V Clip Size- 20 Total Capacity- 60 Zoom- N/A Description- This is an experimental Chechen firearm that operates similarly to common paint ball guns. It has an air compressor that launches a thermite ball at a velocity of 300 feet a second. Upon contact with the air the thermite is converted to molten iron and burns at over 4000 degrees fahrenheit. If the projectile travels about 100 feet or impacts with a hard surface, it burts and ignites everything within an 8 foot radius. Operation- The TH3 Blaster is an alternate option for taking out multiple enemies in a group, or armoured targets. The weapon operates similarly to the M79, but instead of exploding, the round ignites anyone within the blast radius. The round is limited in how far it will travel however; the round will burst upon reaching a distance of 100 feet regardless of whether it hits anything or not. The rounds also frequenty miss moving targets, so keep these points in mind when employing this weapon, less you accidentally ignite yourself, a team-mate, or nearby civilians. US M60 E3 ------------------- Weapon Type- Light Machine Gun Rank To Acquire- Medal of Distiction Ammo- 7.62 NATO Fire Rate- V Damage- IV Range- Medium Lock-on Characteristics: Body- IV Head- II Clip Size- 200 Total Capacity- 600 Zoom- 4.0 Fixed Description- This is an improved M60 that has a forward grip that helps stabilize the weapon during sustained firing. This weapon has been the US Army's general-purpose machine gun since the early 60's and it used the same feed systemas the German WWII MG42. The M60 maintains its accuracy during sustained fire due to better barrel design that vents the heat away more efficiently. This model comes fit with a 200-round belt that is stored in an ammo box attached to the feed system. Operation- The M60 is the best heavy defensive weapon around. The lock-on time takes about a second to acquire a target, but can maintain it even while firing. The spread of the rounds makes this more ideal for engaging a group of targets, but performs well against single targets as well. This gun, like other defensive weapons, is operated best in First-person view mode. ------------------------------------------------- 3.
