Olga (Russian with hairy arm pits):
as soon as battle commences, run to the left of the screen past all the boxes and shoot out the light, otherwise she we use it to blind you later. simply equip your rations and shoot away. Try to aim for the head. if you shoot her in the head 3 times, that should be enough. difficulty: rather easy but tough for beginners.

Russian soldiers in hallway: hide behind the box and jump out and fire with the USP then quickly dodge to safety. when they throw grenades, run forward but not too far or they will kick you. then run back to the box and behind it. after a while of fighting, soldiers come in a line. all you have to do is first-person  cap �em in the head one by one. difficulty: easy

plant
fortune: not much of a boss, with like no health. but don�t bother shooting her because her stupid �magical powers� prevent her from being shot, also you cannot get close  to her and punch her because theres an invisible wall that does not allow you to pass. All you have to do is wait and hide and eventually you�ll get a call. a little more combat will come (well not really combat, just you hiding) and then a sequence will end the battle. difficulty: so easy that they shouldn�t have bothered to put it in the game.

fat man: immediately equip sensor A and your socom. chase him around whilst using the sensor to help dismantle his bombs and when you have a shot, cap him with a socom around 3 times and he will fall. this also hurts him but with a m9 it does nothing. when he attempts to get back up, cap him in the head and you will do good damage. repeat this a few times to defeat him. difficulty: somewhat easy

aftermath: to find the big bomb well, lets think, its big, so it must be under something big, right? fat man is big, right? get the idea? fine then, if you don�t then just drag the fat ass by his feet and dismantle the bomb. 
BEWARE!: fat man is a little heavy, so you cannot drag him for very long.

harrier (plane): this is the second hardest boss in the game, I think. its not even very hard.  grab the stinger and the ammo. now, equip your rations and the stinger and start blastin the harrier. after a while, the harrier will shoot at you and it is hard to avoid so watch out. if the harrier goes out of distance, just aim at it and wait for it to lock on. you shouldn�t have to much tropuble if you keep your rations equipped. difficulty: somewhat hard

vamp: the key to this battle is to use your different weapons efficiently. the stinger makes great use to begin the battle. When he spins while throwing knives, use your m4 or aks74-u(I love the name) to knock the knives out of the air. however sometimes you can dodge the knives with Raiden�s gay little cartwheel thing. when he throws a single knife use the Socom to knock it out. when he has a small little red thing around him and he walks toward you, keep your socom or stinger pointed at him, until it fades. then shoot him. if he�s too close for the stinger then pull out your socom or aks74-u and cap him. repeat the process. difficulty: medium

funny thing to do in the locker place: don�t like emma? me neither when you first get in the locker place where she is, shoot the locker shes in to scare the hell out of her. its funny, trust me

vamp + emma + knife + throat + sniper rifle: although I enjoy the sight of emma in that scenario, you must do something. keep the rifle steady and shoot when you feel good about it. difficulty: very easy

metal gear rayX3 battle: ok lets face it, this is the hardest battle. even when its on very easy, its still tough. you have to face 3 metal gears at a time, but when you defeat one, another comes. on very easy and easy, you must defeat 3 before proceeding, on normal, you must defeat 5. im not sure about the others due to the immense hardness. however, I have the solution. you should notice that blasting their legs does nothing, while it takes nearly 10 shots with your stinger in a head to kill one. but don�t bust out that game shark just yet. if you have been lucky enough to shoot one while its head is open, you will notice that it does a heavy amount of damage. however I behold the secret to the defeat of metal gear ray. It takes only 3 shots to the head while its open to kill a ray. how do you get it open? haha all you must do is shoot it in the leg and it will drop down and its head will open. Then quickly lock on to the head and fire. repeat and you will see a scene. difficulty: *depends on game difficulty* very easy and easy: somewhat hard. normal: very hard. hard: very very hard. extreme: immensely uberly incredibly hard (a real challenge for veterans) well, congratulations on defeating several nuclear-walking battle tanks!

sword fight with solidus: this fight isn�t too hard, especially after that last boss. all you really have to do is block it most of the time and then come out with a few good swings. (don�t forget to grab the rations in the corner) to block hit either r1 or l1 (I forget which)  however, sometimes he will  hold his arm back and like charge up or something and come down hard. if he starts this then just attack him while he holds his arm back. about half way through he will say that you did good, but now it gets interesting. He does some weird stuff and his queer robo arms fly off. then he uses some jet thing to shoot around the place. just avoid it. he will start heading towards you so block and he will do a combo that if you don�t block you will lose lots of health. after you block it sword him a few times and continue the same as before. (blocking and then attacking) until you have maliciously wounded him enough for the final sequence. difficulty: medium, just slightly leaning towards easy.

congratulations! you have defeated metal gear solid!
and as a reward, you get to see the incredibly long end movie and on scrolling, seemingly endless, credits!

don�t forget to grab snakes dog tag by knocking him out after he gives you his sword. (drag him after he is knocked out)
