Name: Xemnas Nickname: The Superior/The Seeker of Darkness Number: 1 Element: Darkness Weapon: Aerial Blades (they look like freaking lightsabers though) Description: Xemnas's main part in the story of KHII is just to confuse everyone by adding yet ANOTHER 'Ansem.' Just kidding, but there are a lot of Ansems. Xemnas is the nobody of Xehanort, Ansem the Wise's apprentice, and just like his heartless, 'Ansem,' he's completely obsessive about darkness. It's a surprise that he never goes "Darknessssss" in mid-battle. He's cocky, as shown by the fact that he thinks of himself as "eternal" (see cut-scenes from the end of the game,) cool, collected, and generally a tad bit more insane that is generally considered "normal" (but that's to be expected from an 'Ansem' now, isn't it?) Xemnas has four/five (depending on how you count) rather annoying and pointless forms in the final battle sequence but he eventually is overcome by the joint powers of Riku and Sora. First Met: Hollow Bastion -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- OII. Name: Xigbar Nickname: The Freeshooter/The Magic-Bullet Shooter Number: 2 Element: Time Weapon: Laser Guns Description: A sarcastic gunslinger with a surfer dude accent -- and, most likely, mentality. Xigbar is very dedicated to the Organization, and held no mercy for Roxas after he betrayed the Organization to go with Ansem the Wise. Because of this, Xigbar doesn't think too highly of Roxas or his "Somebody," Sora, claiming that he wasn't nearly as heroic as the past Keybearers -- which makes you wonder if Xigbar was just talking about Riku and King Mickey... It is inferred by the writer that Xigbar is normally a very laid-back guy. Xigbar probably likes to sit back and goof around in his spare time -- and because of this, the writer also believes he was most likely on good terms with Axel and Roxas. First Met: Land of Dragons -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- OIII. Name: Xaldin Number: 3 Nickname: The Whirlwind Lancer/The Whirlwind of Six Spears Element: Wind Weapon: Six Spears Description: As one of the original six members, Xaldin is completely dedicated to the goal of creating Kingdom Hearts. As such, he tried to turn Beast into a heartless and a nobody, both of which would help the Organizations plans. He wasnt expecting Belle to be quite such a handful, though, or for Sora to come and slay him. First Met: Beast's Castle -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- OIV. Name: Vexen Nickname: The Chilly Academic/The Freezing Scholar Number: 4 Element: Ice Weapon: Shield Description: Though he only appears in the GBA installment of the series, some insight is given to the personality of Vexen. He is, above all things, a scientist and takes time out of his true goal to experiment on the keybearers: both Sora and the original, Riku. -- During Chain of Memories, he creates the Riku Replica, also known as Nisemono, and uses the replica to gather information of Sora, who is also interesting to Vexen because of his nobody, Roxas. He is loyal to the group, which is shown when he tries to hinder Marluxias plans. Axel killed him as a result. He also has a really high pitched voice and likes making ice statues. First Met: Upper Levels of Castle Oblivion -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- OV. Name: Lexaeus Nickname: The Silent Hero/The Peaceful Giant Number: 5 Element: Earth Weapon: Tomahawk Description: The "Silent Hero" takes his name aptly from the fact that he doesn't speak very often. He is the largest of the Organization, and accredited as one of the stronger ("you want to take on someone who wasted Lexaeus?"). He is also probably one of the most boring Organization Members, having not really done anything. With nothing to his name but his title, he was quickly anhihilated by Riku. Other than the fact that he is slightly nonviolent (as in comparison to the others) and takes orders willingly, there is nothing else known about his personality. However, it seemed that he was seen mostly around Zexion and Vexen. First Met: Lower Levels of Castle Oblivion -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- OVI. Name: Zexion Nickname: The Cloaked Schemer/The Shadow-Walking Tactician Number: 6 Element: Unknown Weapon: Unknown Description: A quiet reclusive man who would rather sit and complete puzzles in the basement than converse with others. Not much is known about Zexion, not even his weapon -- in fact, he was specifically designed to be an entity shrouded in mystery. In his brief appearances in Chain of Memories, he is largely blank and emotionless until his demise was at hand. He was often seen hanging out with Vexen and Lexaeus, fellow founding members of the Organization. However, in Ultimania, he is described as having "fallen into ruin" -- but in his Kingdom Hearts II journal entry, it describes him as "eliminated." But seeing as Square made Ultimania, should we believe that the journal entry was just badly translated? The fangirls can only hope... First Met: Lower Levels of Castle Oblivion -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- OVII. Name: Saix Nickname: The Luna Diviner/The Moon-Dancing Demon Man Number: 7 Element: Moon Weapon: Broadsword Description: This moon-boy definitely knows what he wants. His personality is CENTERED on his want and need for a heart, and he is possibly the organization member who most wants to see Kingdom Hearts completed. There is some irony due to the fact that the image of Kingdom Hearts on the cover of the first installment was generally thought to just be a heart-shaped moon, while Saixs symbol and power is connected with the moon. It may be that that was on purpose. He seems to serve the role as the Superiors right-hand man, even though he was not one of the original founders. He is definitely loyal, but to the goal, not the group. He was eager to be rid of Sora as soon as Kingdom Hearts was created and died as a result. First Met: Hollow Bastion -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- OVIII. Name: Axel Nickname: The Flurry of Dancing Flames/The Wind of Dancing Flames Number: 8 Element: Fire Weapon: Chakrams Description: Roxas's best friend and his "kindred spirit." In Chain of Memories, he was introduced as a man with his own secret agenda. He schemed to undermine The Organization for his own benefit, and caused the demise of many, including Marluxia and Zexion. In Kingdom Hearts II, this was revealed to be making Sora a Heartless -- so as to bring Roxas back. Because Axel went all-out to bring his friend back, it can be easily assumed that Axel was rather the "black sheep" of the Organization and so didn't have many "friends," even before he turned traitor. His obsession to bring his friend back into "non-existance" overran any thought of getting a Heart, once again seperating him from the rest of the Organization. However, at the end of Kingdom Hearts II, Axel realizes how selfish he was being and decided to help Sora rather than force his friend to become incomplete again. First Met: Upper Levels of Castle Oblivion -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- OIX. Name: Demyx Nickname: The Melodious Nocturne/The Nocturne Melody Number: 9 Element: Water Weapon: Sitar Description: "The Melodious Nocturne" is often portrayed as an idiotic musician, and nothing more, but there is more to his personality than that, as proven by the fact that he was even a member of the organization. Demyx is a horrible fighter, but when he was asked to take care of Sora and Roxas he relied on water forms and the pure force of gushing water to give him a fighting chance. Though he has been described as a traitor, the fact that he fought knowing he had little chance adds merit to his name. We never see Demyx with any of the other organization members and since he was sent to fight Sora even though the organization still needed the keyblade, it can be assumed that the organization treated Demyx as an outcast and knew he would fall. First Met: The Underworld -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- OX. Name: Luxord Nickname: The Gambler of Fate/The Man Who Gambles With Fate Number: 10 Element: Illusion Weapon: Cards Description: A scheming man who treats life as a game. Although he's one of the lower ranks, he has quite the "Holier Than Thou" attitude. He seems dedicated to the Organization, but it's obvious that he thinks nothing more of them than a safeguard and a way to become whole. Just before he fades, he says "How could you... Roxas." This leads one to believe that he had some kind of connection to Roxas; perhaps he looked at him like a son, or a younger sibling. Believed to be one of the oldest (age-wise) of the Organization. First Met: Port Royal -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- OXI. Name: Marluxia Nickname: The Graceful Assassin/The Elegant Assassin's Blade Number: 11 Element: Flowers/Nature Weapon: Scythe Description: The Superior unwisely left this nature-loving, scythe-wielding traitor in control of Castle Oblivion. Axel went out of his way to hinder Marluxia's plans and so Marluxia wound up falling to Sora's hands. First Met: Upper Levels of Castle Oblivion -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- OXII. Name: Larxene Nickname: The Savage Nymph/The Apathetic Princess Number: 12 Element: Lightning/Thunder Weapon: Kunai Description: Being the only female of the group was bound to drive Larxene up the wall, even if she wasn't a girl from the start. She seems to like toying with people, and takes sport in both fighting Sora and helping Marluxia betray the organization. Some have portrayed her as a "flirt", since all the guys had to get some from SOMEONE. Other evidence is found in her slightly flirty way of talking and the fact that she winks playfully an rather lot, but that may all be part of her way to play with the minds of others. Axel's plans and Sora's keyblade put Larxene to rest. First Met: Upper Levels of Castle Oblivion -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- OXIII. Name: Roxas Nickname: The Key of Destiny/The Discovered Key Number: 13 Element: Light Weapon: Keyblade(s) Description: Sora's Nobody and the duel-wielding Keybearer of the Organization. As the "lucky number thirteen" of the Organization and Keybearer, all ranks of the Organization looked upon him as a sort of savior, but more as a child -- a son, or a baby brother. Axel was the first to befriend the boy, and from there on out, the two were assumed inseperable. Since Roxas is a "kindred spirit" to Axel, it can be assumed that Roxas had his mischevious fun-loving side -- and so, it can also be assumed the two spiced life up by going around pranking the other members. However, Roxas's thirst to become whole and discover why he existed drove him to seek out Ansem the Wise. Once in his hands, Ansem "reprogrammed" Roxas's personality (though, he only undermined his sense of humor) to hide him from the Organization, putting the boy in a fake Twilight Town while Namin restored Sora's memories. First Met: Twilight Town -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- O---. Name: Namin Nickname: None Number: None Element: Memories Weapon: None Description: Kairi's Nobody, she was formed when Kairi's Heart entered Sora's -- but since Namin doesn't have a Heartless counterpart, she is extremely unstable and her self-esteem is very warped. Because she is the Nobody of a Princess of Heart who had a strong connection with the Keybearer, Namin has the ability to alter the memories of Sora and those connected to him. In Chain of Memories, the Organization manipulated Namin into messing around with Sora's memories, using Namin's greatest desire -- to be important -- to convince her that what she was doing was the right thing. However, due to Axel's intervention, she discovered the error of her ways and decided to fix Sora's memory -- which wound up being just what Ansem the Wise wanted. So Namin went from being used by the Organization to being used by Ansem the Wise. However, her encounter with Sora made Namin stronger: regardless of what she wanted or what would happen to her, she would do whatever it took to do the right thing. So, she tried to mess with Ansem's plans by telling Roxas of his true nature and of his past. In the end, she also tried to fight back against the Organization by helping Kairi escape the prison she had been enclosed in.
