Some of the directions might not be as helpful due to the fact was not sure
how to word some of them right. We figure that if the directions don't help
you that at least knowing which area you need to search to find the Treasure
Chests you are missing will help. If you get to an area on the list that you
have not gotten to or don't know where it is at don't worry as you probably
have not reached that area yet during the course of the story.

III. Roxas Treasure Chests

(Note: You will find these during the 3rd to 6th day at the start of the
game. These do NOT count towards the Journal Treasures for Sora but we have
added them anyways. I think we have them listed all but there is always the
chance we overlooked one.)
Area: Station of Serenity
=========================
Treasure Chest #01 = Potion:
After you defeat the Shady Creatures (Nobodies) this Treasure Chest will
appear.
Area: Station of Calling
========================
Treasure Chest #02 = Potion:
After you go up the first staircase/ramp you will see this Treasure chest to
your left on the platform you come to.
Area: Central Station
=====================
(Note: Once you reach Sunset Station go back to Central Station to get these
Treasure Chest.)
Treasure Chest #03 = Potion:
Go to the Northeast Corner of this station to find this Treasure Chest.
Treasure Chest #04 = Hi-Potion:
You will find this Treasure Chest at the Western part of the station between
the two tracks near the platform between the two tracks.
Treasure Chest #05 = Potion:
You will find this Treasure Chest at the bottom of a staircase at the
Southwest corner of this Station.
Area: Sunset Terrace

Treasure Chest #06 = Potion:
When you enter this area from "Sunset Station" go down the walkway to your
left (South) and after this walkway curves right (West) you will see this
Treasure Chest to your right between a light pole and tree.
Treasure Chest #07 = Hi-Potion:
Go to the Western part of this area to find a small wooden bridge and at the
Western end of this small wooden bridge you will find this Treasure Chest
near a tree.
Treasure Chest #08 = Potion:
Go to the Western end of this area and you will find this Treasure Chest on
the balcony just to the left of the doorway leading to "Sunset Hill".
Treasure Chest #09 = Ability Ring:
Jump up onto the Tram and while this Tram is moving you should see this
Treasure Chest on the small rooftop of a building near the East end of
the tracks.
Area: Mansion Foyer

Treasure Chest #10 = Potion:
When you enter this area go up the staircase to your left and you will find
this at the top of the first part of this staircase.
Treasure Chest #11 = Hi-Potion:
When you enter this area go towards the glass doors between the two
staircases here and you will see this Treasure Chest near the wall to your
right.
Treasure Chest #12 = Potion:
When you enter this area go up either staircase and you will find this
Treasure Chest on the balcony just above Treasure Chest #08.
Area: Mansion Dining Room

You will find this Treasure chest to your left (South) as you enter this
room.

You will find this Treasure Chest at the Southwest corner of the yard in
front of the Mansion.
Treasure Chest #02 = Mythril Shard:
You will find this Treasure Chest at the Northeast corner of the yard in
front of the Mansion.
Area: The Woods

Treasure Chest #03 = Potion:
You will find this Treasure Chest at the South/Southwestern edge of this
forest.
Treasure Chest #04 = Mythril Shard:
You will find this Treasure Chest at the Northwestern edge of this forest.
Treasure Chest #05 = Hi-Potion:
You will find this Treasure Chest at the Northeastern edge of this forest.
Area: Market Street Tram Common

Treasure Chest #06 = Hi-Potion:
Go to the archway leading to the Sandlot and go through the Archway just
North of here to find this Treasure Chest in front of a building with a green
shingled roof.
Treasure Chest #07 = AP Boost:
Go up the stairs to the Northeast of the Item Shop and then go up the two
staircases to your right (East). When you reach the top of these staircases
go down the stairs up ahead (to the East) and climb up onto the green
shingled rooftop it is near. Jump from rooftop to rooftop in front of you
until you reach the blue shingled rooftops you see along the East wall in the
distance. Jump to the small blue shingled rooftop and then jump to the larger
blue rooftop to find this Treasure Chest on it.
Treasure Chest #08 = Tent:
Go up the stairs to the Northeast of the Item Shop and then go up the two
staircases to your right (East). Go down the stairs up ahead (to the East)
and you will see this Treasure Chest on the side of the small building with
the green shingled roof at the bottom of the stairs.
Treasure Chest #09 = Mythril Shard:
Go up the stairs to the Northeast of the Item Shop and then go up the two
staircases to your right (East). When you reach the top of these stairs go
across the bridge to your right (South) and you will see this Treasure chest
to your right on the other side of this bridge.
Treasure Chest #10 = Potion:
Go behind the Accessory Shop/Synthesis Workshop and you will see this
Treasure Chest near the wall just South of the shop/workshop.
Treasure Chest #11 = Mythril Shard:
Go up the stairs to the Northeast of the Item Shop and then go up the two
staircases to your right (East). When you reach the top of these stairs go
across the bridge to your right (South) and go to the East edge of this
rooftop you are on. Jump down to the small bridge you see between the two
buildings here and climb up onto the rooftop of the building to the East to
find this Treasure Chest.
Treasure Chest #12 = Potion:
You will find this Treasure Chest in front of the building just South of the
hole leading to "The Woods".
Area: Central Station

Treasure Chest #13 = Tent:
You will find this Treasure Chest along the West wall of this station between
the two tracks.
Treasure Chest #14 = Hi-Potion:
You will find this Treasure Chest at the Southwest corner of this station.
Treasure Chest #15 = Mythril Shard:
You will find this Treasure Chest at the Northeast corner of this station.
Area: The Tower
===============
(Note: If you need to get back to this area at a later point in the game
because you miss one of these Treasure Chest you can get back here by going
to Central Station and taking the blue train here. I am not sure when the
blue train first appears but the first time I happen to notice it was when
I reached "The World that Never Was". I am not sure if it shows up anytime
before that but just keep checking back at central station until it is there
and then you can take it to the Tower area.)
Treasure Chest #16, #17 & #18 = (#16) Potion, (#17) Hi-Potion & (#18) Ether:
When you start this area you will see one Treasure Chest (#16) near some
bushes to your right and the other two (#17 & #18) near some bushes a bit
farther to the left.
The Tower: Entryway

Treasure Chest #19 & #20 = (#19) Ether & (#20) Mythril Shard:
When you first enter you will see the first Treasure Chest (#19) along the
wall to your right and the second Treasure Chest (#20) is hidden under the
staircase.
The Tower: Sorcerer's Loft
===========================
Treasure Chest #21 = Tower Map:
Inside the big chest at the East side of the room (near the green door).
The Tower: Sorcerer's Wardrobe

Treasure Chest #22 = Mythril Stone:
South part of this room near the door.
(Note: You can get the ones below during your second visit here to this
location.)
Area: Underground Concourse
===========================
Treasure Chest (#23) Mythril Gem, (#24) Orichalcum, (#25) AP Boost and (#26)
Mythril Crystal:
Enter this area from the "Station Plaza" and go all the way down the ramp
until you reach the wall at the bottom of it. When you reach the wall look
to your right and you will see a Treasure Chest (#25). Go up the stairs to
the right of this Treasure Chest and go down the corridor to your left. Go
down the stairs up ahead and you will see a Treasure Chest (#23) to your
right at the bottom of these stairs. After you get that Treasure Chest go
into the doorway behind you and drop down off the ledge just inside of that
doorway. You should see another Treasure Chest (#24) in the corner to your
left. Go out of the doorway to the right of this Treasure Chest and go around
the corner of the corridor to the left. Go around the corner up ahead at the
top of the stairs and you will see a Treasure Chest (#26) in the corner here
to your right.
Area: Tunnelway
===============
Treasure Chest (#27) Orichalcum and (#28) Mythril Crystal:
When you enter this area you will notice it looks familiar (because you have
been here before). Look to your right (Southwest) and you will see a Treasure
Chest (#27) at the corner of this small area. Follow the corridor South and
after you go around the first corner to your left you will see another
Treasure Chest (#28) in the corner to your left.
Area: Sunset Terrace
====================
Treasure Chest (#29) Orichalcum +, (#30) Mythril Shard, (#31) Mythril Crystal
and (#32) AP Boost:
When you enter this area go to the Western most end of the Tram Tracks and
look East to see a Treasure Chest (#30) at the front door of a the building
on the South side of the tracks. Go East along the Tram Tracks and you will
see about halfway down these Tram Tracks a Treasure Chest (#31) to your left
in a gap between two buildings near a tree. Jump onto the Train and then jump
onto the rooftop of that building near that tree to find another Treasure
Chest (#29). Go to the East end of the Tram Tracks and go up the stairs to
the North. Go around the corner of the building to your left and go up the
alley to your right (North) to see a Treasure Chest (#32) at the end of this
alley.

Treasure Chest #33 = Mythril Crystal:
When you enter this area go towards the glass doors between the two
staircases here and you will see this Treasure Chest near the wall to your
left.
Treasure Chest #34 = Mythril Stone:
When you enter this area go up the staircase to your right and you will find
this at the top of the first part of this staircase.
Treasure Chest #35 = Elixir:
When you enter this area go up either staircase and you will find this
Treasure Chest on the balcony just above Treasure Chest #.

When you enter this room you will see a Treasure Chest (#37) to your right in

This can be found behind the large crane (the large machine at the top of the
big staircase West of Merlin's House).
Treasure Chest #03 = Hi-Potion:
To the right (South) of the front door to Merlin's House.
Treasure Chest #04 = Mythril Shard:
To the right (East) of the doorway leading to the Bailey.
Treasure Chest #05 = Tent:
To your right at the bottom of the stairs just Northwest of Merlin's House.

Treasure Chest #06 = Castle Perimeter Map:
When you reach this area go over to the railing near you and you will find
this Treasure Chest on the small wall to your left.
Treasure Chest #07 = Mythril Gem:
You can find this Treasure Chest on a pipe to the right of the stairs leading
to the "Restoration Site".
Treasure Chest #08 = AP Boost:
Go down the winding ramp at the Northeast part of this area and you will find
this Treasure Chest to your left at the bottom of this ramp.
Area: Corridors

Treasure Chest #09 = Mythril Stone:
When you get to this area go around the corner to your right and go straight
at the first fork in the road you come to. Go down the hall to your left at
the fork in the road up ahead and go around the corner to your left. Go
around the corner to your right and go straight at the fork here. Go around
the corner to your right and you will see this Treasure Chest near a pile of
debri.
Treasure Chest #10 = Mythril Crystal:
When you get to this area go around the corner to your right and go straight
at the first fork in the road you come to. Go down the hall to your left at
the fork in the road up ahead and go around the corner to your right. You
will see this Treasure Chest up ahead in the distance near a pipe.
Treasure Chest #11 = Hi-Potion:
When you get to this area go around the corner to your right and go down the
hallway to your left when you reach the fork in the road. You will see this
Treasure Chest in the corner up ahead.
Treasure Chest #12 = AP Boost:
When you get to this area go around the corner to your right and go straight
at the first fork in the road you come to. Go down the hall to your right at
the fork in the road up ahead and follow this hallway as it goes around the
corner to the left and when you go around the corner to your right you will
see this Treasure Chest in the corner up ahead in the distance.
Area: Ansem's Study

Treasure Chest #13 = Skill Recipe:
You can find this near Leon (when you first enter this room) at the South
part of this room.
(Note: You can get this once you return from Space Paranoids for the first
time.)

Treasure Chest #14 = Ukulele Charm:
Go back through the Secret passage and you will see this Treasure Chest in
the corner.
Area: Restoration Site

Treasure Chest #15 and #16 = (#15) Moon Recipe and (16) AP Boost:
When you enter this area from the "Bailey head South and you should see to
your left a new ledge you can climb up onto with a Treasure Chest on it. Once
you get that Treasure Chest head south again and you should see to your
right another Treasure Chest near a pipe.
Area: Crystal Fissure

Treasure Chest (#17) Torn Pages, (#18) The Great Maw Map, (#19) Elixir and
(#20) AP Boost:
When you reach this area you will see a Treasure Chest (#17) to your left and
three Treasure Chest (#20, #18 and #19) behind you just to the right of the
Save Point.
Area: Postern

Treasure Chest #21 = Gull Wing:
Talk to Yuna at this area before this Treasure Chest will appear.
Area: Heartless Manufactory

(Note: To get this item you will need to wait until this area is opened up
for you near the end of the story for this location. If this area has not
opened yet for you then just keep completeing all other worlds until it does
finally open.)
Treasure Chest #22 = Cosmic Chain:
When you enter this area you will see a Treasure Chest directly in front of
you (you will only be able to get this after you have completed the story
missions for most of the worlds excluding 100 acre woods, Atlantica, Space
Paranoids and The world that Never Was at least that is when I could get it).

As you enter this area from the Entrance Hall you will find this Treasure

When you enter "The West Hall" from the Secret Passage you will see this
Treasure Chest to your right (East).

When you reach the base of the staircase for this area you will see one
Treasure Chest near the wall to the left of the staircase (not the one on the

You will find both of these chest along the East wall of this small room.

After you have lit up all the lanterns to open up the hidden door go up the
stairs behind (East) of this door to find these two Treasure Chest.

After you have lit up all the lanterns to open up the secret door go into the
secret door and you will see this Treasure Chest to your right (South) just
before you reach the staircase.

When you enter this area follow the passage and you will eventually come to a
fork in the road. Go up the path to the left and you will see this first
Treasure Chest to your right.
Treasure Chest #03 = Mythril Stone:
Go to the end of this Passage and you will find this Treasure Chest near the
doorway leading to "Cave of the Dead Inner Chamber".
Treasure Chest #04 = Ether:
After you get Treasure Chest #02 continue down the path to the left to find
this Treasure Chest along the wall to your left.
Treasure Chest #05 = AP Boost:
After you get Treasure Chest #04 continue down this passage to find this
Treasure Chest along the wall to your left.
Treasure Chest #06 = Hi-Potion:
When you enter this area follow the passage and you will eventually come to a
fork in the road. Continue down the passage to the right until you see this
first Treasure Chest to your left.
Area: Cave of the Dead Inner Chamber

You will see this Treasure Chest near the Save Point.
Treasure Chest #08 = Mythril Shard:

When you exit out from "The Peddler's Shop go up the stairs you see to your
left to find a Treasure Chest (#03) at the top of these stairs. Look to the
right (Southwest) to see another Treasure Chest (#06) and then once you get
that one go to the Northwest and you should see a Treasure Chest (#01) in the
distance up ahead. After you get it jump up onto the ledge to your left
(Southwest) and go to your left (South) to see another Treasure Chest (#05)
in the corner to your right. Go to the North and you should see yet another
Treasure Chest (#02) to your right near the wall. Look to the West to see a
gap in the wall and a Treasure Chest (#04) in the corner of this gap. Jump
back up to the ledge you were on and look to the Northeast to see a Treasure
Chest (#07) on another ledge in the distance.

When you get to this area you will find one Treasure Chest (#09) near the
bottom of the staircase of this area and you will find three other Treasure
Chest (#10, #11 and #12) among the Merchant booths to the South. Go up the
staircase after you got those three and follow the walkway to your right at
the top of the stairs to find another Treasure Chest (#08).

When you get to this area you will see one Treasure Chest (#14) on a block
near the Save Point and one Treasure Chest (#13) near the path leading out to

house and you will find another Treasure Chest (#07) just behind the

Go to the left side of Kanga's House to find a Treasure Chest (#10) and then
go to the right side of Kanga's House to find another Treasure Chest (#12)
near the window. Look to the East and you will see one more Treasure Chest
(#11) near the edge of a fence in the distance.
Area: The Spookey Cave

When you start doing "The Expotition" you will find these along the path you
have to go. The first Treasure Chest (#13) will be to your left as you go
across a ice on the ground and then as you continue to follow the path you
will come to a room with many crystals. You will find two Treasure Chest (#16
and #17) inside the the third opening from the right the far, you will find
one Treasure Chest (#15) at the end of the first path to your left, you will
find one Treasure Chest (#14) as you go down the first path to your right and
you will find one Treasure Chest (#18) down the path second from the right
near a wall on some ice. So to shorten all that you will basically find a
Treasure chest down almost any path you take.

right. Once you get that go back to where you started and head North to see
another Treasure Chest (#04) to your left near the wall. After you get this
look to your right (East) and you should see a Treasure Chest (#05) on a
ledge in the distance. After you get that one drop off this ledge to the
Southeast and you will see another Treasure Chest (#08) to your right
(South). Look to the North from here and you should see a Treasure Chest
(#06) next to the path leading to the next area.
Area: Pride Rock

When you start this area go to the edge of the ledge behind you in front of
Pride Rock and you will find a Treasure Chest (#09) here. Look North from
here and you will see another Treasure Chest (#11) near the wall in the
distance. Once you have that look to the Southeast and you will see a
Treasure Chest (#10) under Pride Rock.
Area: Wildebeast Valley

When you start this area go between the two rocks nearest to you and you will
find a Treasure Chest (#12) next to a rock here. Go behind this rock and you
will find another Treasure Chest (#15) near the wall here. Once you get that
go to your left keeping the wall the previous chest was near to your right
and you will run into another Treasure Chest (#14). facing the rock this
Chest is near look to your right and you should see a Treasure Chest (#13) in
front of a rock in the distance. Now look away from this Treasure Chest and
you should see a tree in the distance just to the left of the opening leading
to the next area. Go over to that tree and you will find a Treasure Chest
(#16) near it.
Area: Wastelands

Treasure Chest #17, #18 and #19 = (#17) Mythril Shard, (#18) Hi-Potion (#19)

When you first get to this area follow this path as it curves around and
after the third curve you will see this Treasure Chest (#17) to your left
near the edge of this path. Continue along the path around the next corner
and you will see another Treasure Chest (#18) to your right. Continue to
follow this path and you will eventually see another Treasure Chest (#19) to
your left near a wall before you get to the next area.

near a tree. Once you get that follow the path to your right and get onto the

and you should see another Treasure Chest (#21) in the distance near a tree.

Go into the alley North of the building Northwest of the doorway leading to
the Rampart area and destroy the boxes to your right at the West end of this
alley to make a hole in the wall. Go into that hole and you will find this
Treasure Chest.
Treasure Chest #06 = Mythril Shard:
Go into the alley North of the building near the doorway leading to the
Rampart area and you will see this Treasure Chest to your left near the wall.
Treasure Chest #07 = Mythril Gem:
Go into the alley North of the building Northwest of the doorway leading to
the Rampart area and destroy the boxes to your left at the West end of this
alley to reveal an opening. Go into the opening and destroy the boxes
directly in front of you (just to the left of Chest #04) and you will find
this Treasure Chest after you destroy the boxes.
Area: Isle de Muerta Cave Mouth

Treasure Chest (#08) Ether and (#09) Mythril Shard:
You will see one Treasure Chest (#08) to your left along the edge of the
ledge here and another Treasure Chest (#09) just a bit farther along the
ledge to the left.
Area: Isle de Muerta Powder Store

Treasure Chest #10 = AP Boost:
You will find this Treasure Chest inside the gap at the far Northeastern part
of this cave (just to the right of the path leading to "Isle de Muerta
Moonlight Nook").
Treasure Chest #11 = AP Boost:
When you first enter this area you will see this Treasure Chest in the gap of
the wall to your left once the pirate comes out from behind the boxes here.
Area: Isle de Muerta Moonlight Nook

Treasure Chest (#12) Mythril Shard, (#13) Ether and (#14) Mega-Potion:
You will see a Treasure Chest (#14) at the Northwest corner of this area near
the stairs, a Treasure Chest (#13) at the Northeast corner of this area and a
Treasure Chest (#12) at the East side of this area.
Area: Ship Graveyard The Interceptor's Hold

Treasure Chest #15 = (#15) Feather Charm:
You will see this Treasure Chest near the Save Point.

Treasure Chest #16, #17, #18 and #19 = (#16) AP Boost, (#17) Orichalcum and
(#18) Meteor Staff:
When you get to this area with the Black Pearl you will see a Treasure Chest
(#18) to your left (Northeast) and then go towards the path to the Northwest
to see another Treasure Chest (#17) here at the corner of the wall. Go down
the ramp to the right (East) and at the bottom of it look to your right to
see this Treasure Chest (#16) under the path leading to the Black Pearl.
Area: Ship Graveyard Seadrift Row

Treasure Chest (#19) High Drive Recovery, (#20) King Recipe and (#21) Mythril
Crystal:
After you leave the Interceptor and get to this area you will see this
Treasure Chest (#19) to your right just before you reach a small wooden
bridge. Go across the wooden bridge and you will see another Treasure Chest
(#20) to your right near a rock. Continue to follow this path and you will
see a Treasure Chest to your left near the wall.

After you open the door to this cell you will see a red Treasure Chest (#01)
directly in front of you near the wall and another Treasure Chest (#02) just
to the right of it.
Area: Canyon

Treasure Chest (#03) Mega-Potion, (#04) Mythril Stone, (#05) and (#06) Drive
Recovery:
When you get to this area you will see the first Treasure Chest (#06) to your
left (North) near the doorway and then go up the ramp to the East to find the
next Treasure Chest (#04) at the edge of the ledge at the top of the ramp. Go
up the ramp to the North and you will see the next Treasure Chest (#03) to
your right at the edge of the walkway here. Go to the West along this walkway
and you will see the other Treasure Chest (#05) to your left near the wall up
ahead.
Area: I/O Tower Hallway

Treasure Chest (#07) Tent and (#08) AP Boost:
When you enter this area you will see a Treasure Chest up ahead near the wall
and just to the left of that Treasure Chest is another Treasure Chest near
the wall.

When you enter this area you will see one Treasure Chest to your left
(Northeast) and one Treasure Chest to your right (Northwest).

When you enter this area go around to the other side of the building in front
of you and you will find this Treasure Chest (#01) at the corner of the wall
to your left. Look away from the Treasure Chest and you should see another
Treasure Chest (#02) to your left at another corner of the wall. Look to your
right from this Treasure Chest and go towards the area with the purple
ground in the distance. As you enter this area you will see a Treasure Chest
(#03) in the corner to your right on a platform near some pipes and another
Treasure Chest (#04) on a platform to your left just as you enter this area.
Area: Memory's Skyscraper
=========================
Treasure Chest #05, #06 and #07 = (#05) Mythril Crystal, (#06) AP Boost and
(#07) Mythril Stone:
Go to the right of the Skyscraper and you will find a Treasure Chest (#06)
near the back bumper of the crashed semi here. Follow the path along the left
side of the Skyscraper and you will find 2 Treasure Chest (#05 and #07) along
the walls to your left.
Area: The Brink of Despair

Treasure Chest #08 = Dark City Map:
When you get to this area you will see this Treasure Chest near the Moogle.
Treasure Chest #09 = Orichalcum+:
Go along the edge of the cliff just to the left of the pathway leading to the
next area and you will find this Treasure Chest here.
Area: Nothing's Call

Treasure Chest #10 = Mythril Gem:
Just before you enter the "Crooked Ascension" area you will see this Treasure
chest to the left of the doorway.
Treasure Chest #11 = Orichalcum+:
When you first get to this area go up the first ramp to your left and you
will see a Treasure Chest on the platform at the top of this ramp.
Area: Twilight's View

Treasure Chest #12 = Cosmic Belt:
When you get to this area you will see a Treasure Chest (#) at the top of the
staircase in front of you.
Area: Naught's Skyway

Treasure Chest #13, #14 and #15 = (#13) Mythril Gem, (#14) Orichalcum and
(#15) Mythril Crystal:
When you get to this area go towards the railing in front of you and you will
see a Treasure Chest (#13) to your left near the wall. Go up the first two
ramps for this area and you will see a Treasure Chest (#14) on the tall ledge
to your left. Go up the third ramp and you will see another Treasure Chest
(#15) to your left near the railing.
Area: Ruin and Creation's Passage

Treasure Chest (#16) Mythril Stone, (#17) AP Boost, (#18) Mythril Crystal and
(#19) Orichalcum:
As you make your way to the first platform you will see a Treasure Chest
(#16) to your left near the edge of this first platform. As you make your way
to the second platform you will see a Treasure Chest (#17) on a raised
platform to your right. As you make your way to the third platform you will
see a Treasure Chest (#18) at the far edge of this platform. When you get to
the final platform you will see a Treasure Chest (#19) to your left just as
you get onto the platform.
