I. Introduction

=======================================================================

I don't know much about this game so far because I just bought it
today, but the first Kingdom Hearts was amazing. I like my friend
thought it would suck because it was Disney, and though I don't care
much for Disney movies or games, but this game had awesome play and
storyline, and some incredible graphics as well.

PLEASE READ: If you have any additional information or corrections, you
can e-mail me at [email protected]. If you notice any problems,
PLEASE e-mail me, because remember I wrote this on my first play
through.

You can also e-mail me if you are having trouble and need additional
help.

Coliseum.

1.0 (4/2/06): First version of the FAQ. Put in the Introduction,
credits, and walkthrough sections, and wrote walkthrough up till Hollow
Bastion second time.

IV. Walkthrough

=======================================================================

As you begin the game, you can select one of 3 difficulties. As much
as I like to start games on a harder one though I usually end up
screaming and swearing on the end bosses, I will be writing this based
on the standard difficulty, considering I want to get this guide done
as quick as possible instead of getting hung up a bunch.

After beginning the game, there is a long FMV (I don't have any idea
what it was about: I was writing this while it was playing), but it has
bits and pieces of Kingdom Hearts 1. After the FMV you begin the game
in Twilight Town.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
a. Twilight Town
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Watch the cut-scene after the town title appears. It is kind of weird
when they say Seifer stole their "_____" and the word too.

When you take control you will be tutored on the controls. They are
the same as Kingdom Hearts 1, so it should be pretty easy. After
rescuing the cat and talking to the shop owner there, there is then a
cut-scene with Seifer and a couple other characters you do not yet
know. After the scene, you get to choose between 3 different weapons.
The middle one is defensive, the right one is offensive, and the left
one is more for spells. I picked the one for strength (right), and I
assume they are about the same as the first Kingdom Hearts, but I don't

know the effects or anything of these yet. After you pick one up you
start a fight.

When it starts, lock on with R1 and attack him till you get a few hits,
then the tutorial will continue describing counter attack. A quick
cut-scene and you need to defeat Seifer now.

Seifer- Difficulty: 1/10

Seifer is painfully easy, lock on and just hit him till he dies.

After the cut-scene, you will need to catch the actual thief. Run
forward and slightly to the left and you will reach the Old Mansion.
Walk up to the thief in front and press triangle for the capture
command. Another quick cut-scene and now you need to fight the
mysterious enemy.

Mysterious enemy- Difficulty: 1/10

Lock on to him and attempt to hit him, but you are unable to. After
trying for a bit, a cut-scene occurs and you get the keyblade. NOW you
can hit him. Just lock on and run around hitting him. He's REAL easy
as well. He doesn't attack very often and seems to die faster than
Seifer.

After defeated you get the message regarding orbs. Now yet another
FMV. After it, save the game in the save point, and head down the
alley. You will see another cut-scene about getting more munny. There
are 6 jobs you can do. I do not think you need 800 munny, but if you
find out
if you do let me know.

First Board:

Mail Delivery: You ride around on a skateboard delivering mail. You
must deliver 5 letters. The first person is right in front of you.
Hit triangle while riding past to deliver the letter. The second is a
bird a bit more forward, third is to the left down the slant, 4th is a
bird in the air; get near the concrete on the right and press triangle
to grind and just ride off the end; you will jump and hit triangle when
it appears when near the bird, and the last is on the other side of the
slant.

Cargo Climb: You must hit a cargo cart to the top of the hill. The
easiest way is to lock on and go all out with attacks, and when it
flies into the air jump up and hit it for good distance. I have never
had it fall on me, but I'm sure if it does its not a good thing. Get
it to the top in the shortest time for maximum munny.

Grandstander: You need to keep a ball in the air for as long as
possible. You have 5 tries. Lock onto the ball and attack it to hit
it into the air, but be careful to stay on the ground so you can move
around easily.

Of all these, I find the mail delivery the quickest and easiest to get
munny on; with practice you can do this in less than 10 seconds, and
get 50 munny each time, so after doing it 16 times you're done with it.
If you're like me, you hate doing this stuff and just want to get into
the action of the game, but I suppose Kingdom Hearts 1 and Destiny
Islands was the same way.

Tram Common Board:

Poster Duty: In this one, you need to post up 20 posters. Before
heading forward, turn around and post one on the side of the wall
behind you to your right. Next, head forward, and left and post the
first one on the right wall, head down the stairs and post the second
one, then continue and post the third one, head right and forward and
you will spot a bulletin board with 3 spots, so post 3 there. Head
left from there behind the big circular building to see another
bulletin board with 3 spots. Next, look right and jump on top of the
tram, then jump towards that circular building to grab onto the ledge
and post 3 more posters there. Hop down and face the stairs you came
in on, and head down the right path from there. Post one on the left
wall, the wall in front of you, then just to the left of that one, and
on the right on the side of the staircase type contraption, then hop
onto the staircase and jump right and put one up there. Head left
facing that one and post another on the back wall, then jump down from
there and head down the right path facing the building and post the
final one. As you probably notice there are more than 20 posting
spots, but this is a pretty basic quick way to go about it. This is
long but gives more munny also.

Bumble-Buster: Real basic. Just lock onto the bee swarms and attack
them. There are 3 in all. Just watch out for when they stop moving
and try to attack them quick before they attack.

Junk Sweep: Also real basic. Just attack the junk to get rid of it.
This is the only one not times; your swings are tracked though. Break
all the junk in as few swings as possible for more munny.

Head to Market Station heights, and run all the way to the top where
the garage
is and head right. You will be at the station plaza, talk to the guy
here
(can't remember his name)and say you've earned enough munny.

Now, yet another long FMV, and after it is over save and now you need
to head for the beach. Head out into the back alley and left to the
Station Heights for another cut-scene. Now yet another fight with the
mysterious enemy.

Once again use the stupid stick and miss him a bunch for another cut-
scene. After this one, you will notice a very familiar place. Pick
whichever one you want. These have the same characteristic as the stun
sticks you chose from earlier: Magic, strength, and defense. I chose
defense again but get whatever one you want. You now must fight 3 of
these enemies. Just lock on to each one then attack them, pretty easy.
After the battle open the chest. D,j. vu. Head towards the door into
the station of calling. Head up the ramp, defeating the enemies along
the way then defeat more at the top platform. Head toward the door,
defeat 3 more enemies, then head through. Boss fight.

Big Heartless guy- Difficulty: 3/10

Look for the triangle prompts, and once you hit break raid you can hit
him on the head. Now, you fight him on the ground. Pay attention to
the triangle prompts for Reversal, and you bolt up towards his head,
then just attack like mad. Once you get the hang of looking out for
the prompts he is not too hard.

Watch the long FMV after the battle, and afterward you go straight into
the tournament. Save at the save point here if you want.

-----------------------------
i. Struggle Tournament
-----------------------------

Before you can begin the tournament, you need to listen to the rules.
Head over and talk to the guy in front of the chalk board. After
hearing them, you can buy stuff from the shop if you need it, then when
you are ready talk to the person in the middle to begin the tournament.

Your first opponent will be your friend Hayner. Before you start the
battle be sure to read the pop up with the rules and objectives.

Hayner- Difficulty: 2/10

This is not too hard, just lock on to him and keep attacking.
Remember, if you loose any orbs, you can pick them back up before
Hayner does, so keep an eye on those. It is best to hit him with the 3
hit combo 2-3 times then run around and get the orbs. Just have more
orbs than he does before the time runs out or take all his orbs.

After the fight there will be a cut-scene, and afterward walk up to the
guy in the middle again and speak to him to fight Vivi.

Vivi- Difficulty: 3/10

Vivi is not very hard once you get the hang of his technique. He will
jump and yell, then charge at you. After he does this run it and get a
3 hit combo, collect the orbs, then run back again. Once he does his
attack again, repeat.  Near the end he will start jumping around a lot;
after he does this just run up and attack him and continue the
strategy. The time should be near the end. You should be OK as long
as if you get hit, collect your orbs back quickly.

After the fight time will stop and you need to fight 3 of those
mysterious enemies again. Use the same technique you have as before
and you should have no trouble.

Afterward, another cut-scene and now you have an actual fight.

Axel- Difficulty: 5/10

The trick to winning this fight is not to fight him head on. Run
around him and attack him after he attacks you. When he starts to go
up in flames run as far away as you can because he is about to shoot
his weapons at you. Once he starts attacking just stay back and jump
left and right. Once he attacks do your 3 hit combo attack and then
run back again. Run towards him once more around him and attack him
after he attacks you and repeat.

After the fight another cut-scene and now for the final fight versus
Setzer.

Setzer- Difficulty: 3/10

Right when the battle starts run up and get off the 3 hit combo on him.
He is pretty easy actually. Just don't stay in front of him to avoid
his attacks. After you hit him at the start run back and if he chases
you quickly attack him. Either you will parry his attack or you will
hit him. Use the same strategy as with Axel and it will be no problem.

-------------------------
ii. The Seven Wonders
-------------------------

After the fight you get the champion belt and the trophy. Watch the
FMV and afterward save and head into the back alley. Head left back
into the station heights and left again to head back to the train
station. Talk to Hayner in front then head into the station. Watch
the cut-scene. Afterward talk to your friend for the map of the 7
wonders, and then head down the stairs. You will not be at the area
with the tunnel wonder. Head down the ramp and around and on your
right will be a chest with a potion. There is also another chest with
a potion in the upper left corner according to the radar up the steps
in a little red area behind the wall. From here head back right and up
and talk to the guy in the green shirt reguarding the tunnels. Head
into the tunnel and press triangle. In here you will find 3 Vivi's.
You do not need to lock on for this fight, because one hit destroy's a
Vivi. They use the same pattern as when you fought in the Struggle
Tournament. Just keep hitting them and it will end pretty quickly and
is not too difficult.

Now the tunnel wonder is complete. Head back down the tunnel and out
into sunset terrace. Head right into the red area once again and head
into the doorway here to go to Sunset Hill. You can talk to the boy on
the way up about his missing dog if you want. Head up to the top of
the hill and investigate the bag up here. Now you must stop the bag.
Run up to it and press triangle to jump on, then continue pressing
triangle when the jump prompt appears. Continue until the Stamina bar
runs out to complete the bag wonder. Yup, it was his dog. Notice how
weird it is that the dog is moving a million miles per hour while he's
in a sack?

Head back down the hill into Sunset terrace once again. Head to the
bottom left corner relative to the map and investigate the waterfall
down here. You now must defeat your shadow. Just lock on and hit him
till he disintegrates. Head back to where the tunnel was and head down
the right path facing the tunnel. Continue and then head left down the
ally and investigate the wall at the end. After the scene run up to
the wall while avoiding the balls. Now a cut-scene and you need to go
investigate the 6th wonder.

--------------------------
iii. The Mansion
--------------------------

The last wonder is where you fought the first mysterious enemy. Head
back to the area where you found the dog in the bag. Watch the cut-
scene, and afterward head to the Tram common by heading into the
station heights and all the way down the ramp, then once at the commons
head forward and follow the track through the doorway and head into the
hole at the end to enter the woods. Head forward and slightly to the
left to head to the mansion.

Watch the LONG FMV. Afterward save your game if need be and head back
out into the back alley. You will now need to fight even more of those
strange enemies. Just defeat them as usual. Afterward you need to
head to the mansion once more. Head through the heights, the tram
common, the woods, and then to the mansion again. There will be
enemies spawning along the way; defeat them if you want but it is not
necessary. You will get experience and can level thought so it might
help. Once you get to the mansion area a cut-scene occurs and you are
then inside. There is a chest near the back doors with a hi-potion and
one on the left stairs with a regular potion. Head up the left stairs
and once at the top head left and back and through the door for another
FMV. Afterward you get a map and some sketches. Save the game if you
want and head back out into the Foyer. Jump over the ledge and head
into the room down here on the left for a chest with an Elven Banana
and a potion. Next, head out and up the right stairs and into the door
at the top of there. After the quick cut-scene head down the steps and
open the chest for a hi-potion. Head into the door next to the stairs
for another FMV.

After save if you want and head back out the door. You will now need
to defeat some enemies. They are not too hard, but afterward you will
need to fight Axel once more.

Axel- Difficulty: 4/10

This battle is sweet because you get to use 2 keyblades. First of all,
avoid touching the sides because you will take damage. Just generally
go all out with attacks, and hit the triangle combo when it prompts.
When he flies out of the ring, be ready to hit triangle to dodge the
attack and hit it again to get a combo, and stun him to get tons of
hits. Other than this, if you get low on hp just assume the same
strategy as you did when you fought him before.

After the fight head through the door for yet another cut-scene. Open
the chest and head through the door in front of you for ANOTHER cut-
scene. Now we can get on with the actual game (If you are like me you
hate all the crap you have to go through before you become Sora.)

Head back into the woods for another cut-scene. Afterward save if need
be and then get to the train station. Fight the enemies here until the
cut-scene occurs.

After the fight you obtain a munny pouch, a blue crystal, and Ansem
report 2. Afterward, head forward and save if you want, then talk to
Donald and say you are ready to go.

---------------------------
iv. The Tower
---------------------------

After the cut-scenes are done, head forward, and open the chest on the
right, on the left, and then a bit more forward on the left. Next,
head up to the entrance of the tower to trigger another cut-scene.
Afterward you need to defeat some of the low level heartless that first
appeared in Kingdom Hearts 1. It's not too hard, just use the same
tactics you have been: Using the 3 hit combo over and over. Afterward
another cut-scene appears and you will be in the tower. Save if need
be, then open the chest to the right of the door and to the left of the
save point. Next, head up the stairway. You will see a strange
colored thing in front of you, which leads to the next area. Continue
up the stairs and defeat the heartless along the way if you want. Once
you reach the top defeat some more heartless then head into the ???
door to continue up to the next door and defeat more heartless in here.
Afterward continue through the next door and up to the final door for a
FMV.

Afterward, open the blue chest to the right of the door you came in
through, and then read the 3 sections of the book, then talk to the
wizard and choose "Actually..." to trigger another cut-scene.
Afterward head through the ??? door next to him for yet another cut-
scene. Afterward talk to the lady in red and say you want to change
your clothes for another cut-scene. Afterward you get a sweet costume
and another keyblade, which increases your combo from 3 to 4 while in
air, which is sweet because most of the time you are combo-ing you are
in the air as well. You also have a drive command now. After the
scene open the chest here, then head back into the Sorcer's loft for a
final FMV. Now you can finally get out of this world and get on with
the game.

After the FMV fly the ship into the world below and hit triangle to
enter hollow bastion.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
b. Hollow Bastion
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Head down the steps in front of you and to the left. There is a shop
here if you want to buy or sell stuff. The only thing you can buy is
the ring with +1 AP. Buy it if you want, and you can also sell your
potions if you want because if you have not used many you will have
quite a few. There are also other shops here which sell other stuff.
I personally did not buy anything and it is probably best to pass
because the stuff right now is not that good. After you are done here
head up the steps in the courtyard and to the top to learn about item
synthesis. You can approach the guy in front of the freezer if you
want and then head into the ??? area in front of you for a cut-scene.
Afterward, some heartless appear that you need to battle. You can test
your drive's valor form here, which allows you to wield 2 keyblades.
After you use the drive form you need to keep fighting enemies to keep
the form meter up, but once it hits the bottom you need to recharge
your drive bar by fighting more enemies. Needless to say, using drive
in long battles is the best idea. After the heartless fight continue
forward, defeating the heartless along the way and once you reach the
chest, you can head through the door to the left of the chest for a
cut-scene. Afterward you get a blizzard spell.

Continue right and defeat more heartless and open the chest here, then
head right and left up the stairs. Defeat more heartless at the top
then open the chest on the right path to get a drive recovery, which
restores your drive bar. Defeat more heartless here then head back to
the first chest and jump onto that ledge on the left and get the next
chest with a nice AP boost. It will obviously permanently increase
your AP by one. Now head back down that first path and grab the chest
at the end and then head into the ??? area to trigger a cut-scene.
Afterward you need to defeat the nobodies without Donald or Goofy while
protecting the gates. Just stick by the gates while defeating the
Nobodies. If you get low on HP which may very well happen, use a
potion.

Watch the cut-scene afterward, and you will now be back on your gummi
ship. To get to another world you will need to hit triangle near a
door. I did the Stardust sweep first so it will be in that order for
the walkthrough. If you want to do the other one first you will need
to read ahead.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
c. Beast's Castle
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Watch the FMV and then you will need to defeat some heartless right
away. Just fight them till the cut-scene appears. Afterward, save if
need be, then head back into the entrance hall. Head up the stairs,
defeat the heartless, then head right up the stairs through the ???
door for another cut-scene. After it open the blue chest for a Mythril
Shard, and then head right and open the other one for a castle map.
There is also a save point in here. Now, head back out onto the stairs
and defeat the heartless here. Take care of the small ones first, then
focus on the big one by hitting him in the back. This huge guy is
harder than in Kingdom Hearts 1 because he has more attacks (stomp and
send shockwave, charge around a ton) so when defeating the smaller
enemies be sure to focus on his attacks. Open the chest to the left
and then head forward and open the next one in the corner. Continue
out onto the stairway and head up the right set of stairs this time
(just head straight forward down and then up the stairs) into the ???
area at the top for another cut-scene. Afterward head forward a bit
and turn right into the little area for a chest, and then continue
forward and open the 2 chests ahead to the right. Afterward you will
see you cannot move up the stairs, but move the cabinet opposite the
furthest chest, and it will not succeed. Afterward, go to the side and
tap triangle to attempt to push it out of the way. Do this by tapping
triangle in about 3 second intervals (tap it for 3 seconds, then stop)
because if you try to do it at once she will wake up and smack you
away). Next head into the ??? door for a cut-scene.

After entering the door you will have a fight. 2 guys are guarding the
door and 2 are running around. Start by defeating the 2 guys running
around then focus on the ones at the door. Use your Valor form drive
if you are having trouble. After getting his health down a bit bats
will start appearing. Defeat them, and then focus on the guys at the
door. Once their health is down to 0, hit triangle to release or their
health will be recharged. When you are attacking the door guardians,
if they swing their arms out, watch out because they are about to swing
them back towards you and attack you, so move away. After you defeat
them try to defeat the dark ball though it is tough to do unless you
have drive. Otherwise just get him as low as you can, and after a
short time the door guardians will be back; defeat them once more then
finish off the dark ball.

Afterward head into the ??? door for another cut-scene. Afterward,
save if need be then open the chest in here. Open the small chest for
an AP boost, then head back out the door. Jump on top of the furniture
on either side and onto the balcony on top there and ask the clock on
top for help. Head through the newly opened ??? door for a cut-scene.
Afterward you need to put out 3 lanterns before the clock looses its
grip. Head to the first one in the left corner in front of you and tap
triangle in front of it, then head right and then left at the end and
do the same to the one in this hallway, and then head left up the steps
and destroy a couple crates at the end, then light the final lantern to
trigger another cut-scene. Afterward open the chest and head into the
West Hall door and you will discover you are behind the blocked
stairway before. Defeat the statue that sticks out and then open the
chest next to it, then continue on to the ??? door. Defeat the
heartless that spawn in here then open the chest and head up the
stairs. Defeat the statues at the top and then open another chest,
defeat more heartless, then head into the ??? door at the end for
another cut-scene.

Beast- Difficulty: 3/10

To win this fight you just need to attack beast and keep hitting
triangle for the wake up command to stop him from attacking. Once his
health is at 0 tap triangle quickly to finish the fight.

After the fight, watch the cut-scene, and then leave beast in your
party. Save if you want, and then head back into the West Wing.
Defeat the heartless along the way back to the West Hall. Head back to
the entrance hall by heading down the steps and left, defeating the
heartless along the way, and then defeat the heartless in here and head
into the East Wing. Defeat the heartless along the way to Belle's
room. Approach the cabinet in front for a cut-scene. Afterward, save
if need be then head all the way back out to the Entrance Hall for
another cut-scene.

Afterward head forward and defeat another huge guy by hitting him on
his back. After a bit another one spawns and 2 more heartless. Defeat
them as well (use beast's twin howl when it's ready) and afterward head
into the ??? door at the top for a cut-scene.

Big Heartless Ball- Difficulty: 5/10

His first attack will be a bunch of blue waves: run in between them or
on the sides of the battle area to avoid them. After an apparatus will
appear in middle spinning with blue rays or something of the sort. Run
into the middle of it as quickly as possible and attack and then
release it. Then the spike ball will move around and sometimes pop out
of the ground at you. Attack it when it is in solid form, and when it
shifts out, watch out because it may pop out of the ground and grab
you. Jump with the right timing to avoid it. He will occasionally run
into one of the pillars on the side and swing them all out. When this
happens, watch out for them swinging, then attack and release him.
These are his 4 main attacks, once you get them down he is not too
hard.

After the first fight you need to defeat another guy who is pretty much
invisible.

Another Big Heartless Guy- Difficulty: 5/10

When the step vault command appears, hit it, then hit catch, then hit
pendelum round. Watch out when he does it; get onto the sides quickly.
I did not focus much on dodging his attack but instead on attacking him
and paying attention to the triangle prompts. His attacks are not too
much to be worried about, so just focus on offense and we won't be too
much trouble.

Afterward watch the FMV and you are done with this level.

After watching the FMV head to the other door and do the Asteroid Sweep
to clear the path to The Land of Dragons.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
d. The Land of Dragons
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Save if need be then open all 3 chests in this beginning area here.
Leave ping in your party instead of Goofy, and then head down the path
here. There is a shop here if you want to buy anything. Next head
down the path into the ??? area, and head forward for a cut-scene.
Afterward some heartless appear that you need to defeat. For this
fight you have a Morrale gauge. It is pretty easy to keep up; just
grab all those big orbs from enemies you defeat. It goes down pretty
slowly anyway. However, when your party members get hit it goes down
faster, so if they start getting hit just be more careful in getting
any orbs that drop. A pretty easy tactic is let your team just defeat
the heartless while you obtain the orbs because some of those on your
team this time are pretty good at killing them.

After winning the battle and talking to the captain, talk to him again
to start a mission.

Surprise attack: This mission is real easy; just defeat the heartless.
There is a Morrale bar again but there are a million orbs and you
should have no problem with that.

The Ambush: This mission is about the same as the first one except
there is a new enemy which is like a centaur.  They can be annoying;
just time your guard right and you can guard his attacks. If you get
thrown in the air and he starts rotating his stick and beating the crap
out of you, just collect the Morrale orbs afterward that get beaten out
of you.

The Search: In this mission you need to defeat the hidden enemies.
Start by heading forward to get the first one to appear. Defeat him
and then just run through the camp in an S pattern to get the rest to
appear. The trick is to be quick before your Morrale bar runs out,
which it may if you do not find the enemies quick enough, but if you
just go in an S pattern you should be fine.

Afterward you obtain an AP boost, and for the final mission you need to
clear a path to the summit. Talk to the Captain for more information.
Head out the North exit to the checkpoint, and defeat any heartless you
encounter. Afterward, head into the ??? area behind the wagon across
the river for a cut-scene. Afterward defeat the heartless, and then
head up to the rocks and hit triangle for rock shatter, then hit it
again. Keep hitting it till the rocks collapse. Be quick in this area
because your Morrale may end up running out. Head through, defeat more
heartless, then break the rocks here. Head through here, defeat the
next heartless in front of you, and then open the chest on the edge.
Continue up and you will come across more heartless. Defeat them and
then jump onto the ledge on your left a bit forward. You can jump up
at the very end by grabbing onto the ledge; once up grab the 2 chests,
defeat the heartless, and then continue up the summit path. You will
come across another one of those Centaur type heartless. If you cannot
time guard right or even tell when he was going to attack, which I
really could not do, you can jump sideways whenever you end up in front
of him, or just keep attempting to attack him while taking some damage,
focusing mainly on offense which works just fine. Jump onto the ledge
and grab the chest and defeat more heartless, then head back down and
use rockshatter where that centaur guy was. Head up the path until you
reach the ??? area for a cut-scene.

After the scene head forward through the wall and to the right. Head
down here into the ??? cave. Head forward and open the chest, then
head right and blow up the wagon to reveal another chest. Head down
the passageway for a cut-scene. Afterward you need to defeat some
heartless with only Ping (meaning don't rely on Donald to heal you).
Defeat all the small heartless first. The Centaur guy will attack you
but you take such a small amount of damage it doesn't matter. After
all the small heartless are defeated, then take out the Centaur. After
he is dead 2 more appear; defeat one at a time as usual. Just get
right up to them, and keep attacking them, never giving them a chance
to attack. After these 2 are dead the fight is over.

Head back out the cave for a cut-scene. Afterward head forward, save
if need be, then continue forward down the path into the ??? area to go
to the Ridge. Head forward and defeat the heartless, then continue and
grab the chest. Head left, defeat more heartless, then grab the chest
on the right next to the wagon. Afterward head back left and continue
up the path into the next ??? area for a cut-scene. For this next
fight you are alone. Start by defeating the big thing in the middle,
then start slashing away at the yellow heartless. Use the triangle
commands and just attack as much as you can. Survive until the timer
reaches 0, which is pretty easy to trigger another cut-scene.

Afterward, switch goofy out and Donald in, and then head back down the
ridge for another cut-scene. Afterward continue down the path on the
right, head into the village, and through the door on the opposite side
into the mountain trail. Descend the trail, defeating the heartless
along the way to the end. Use Mulan's special attack when you want; it
is pretty powerful. Head all the way down into the checkpoint and you
will see the previously closed pathway is now opened. Head through it
for a cut-scene. Afterward defeat the heartless. Use red rocket to
finish it quick, and then afterward head across the bridge into the ???
area to arrive at the Palace Gate. Head up the steps for another cut-
scene. Now you must fight Shan-Yu.

Shan Yu- Difficulty: 4/10

Lock on to Shan-Yu and just start attacking him. Use Red Rocket
whenever it is available to damage him a lot. Whenever you get into a
duel just tap triangle to win it easily then hit triangle again for the
takedown command.  Evasion is not too big of a concern for this guy;
just focus on attacking him and you will win without a problem.

Watch the cut-scene afterward. You now have a new keyblade to use, and
you are done with this level. Afterward you will inevitably move
toward Hollow Bastion. Once there watch the FMV to hear about Winnie
the Pooh. After it talk to Donald and enter the book.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
e. 100 Acre Wood
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Run forward and talk to Pooh to get kicked out of the storybook.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
f. Hollow Bastion
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

It was a cruel joke the developers played by making you think you had
to do the 100 Acre wood shit all over again. Hundred Acre Wood in
Kingdom Hearts 1 was horrible, boring, shitdragged waste of time, even
worse than the beginning of the game. Now you get back into Hollow
Bastion to defeat some more Heartless. Defeat them however for a cut-
scene. After the fight, you need to go back into the book and to where
you did before. Head up the path and open the chest for the map, then
head back and talk to Pooh.

After talking to Pooh and watching the cut-scene you are done with
Hollow Bastion for the time being.

Head to the bottom right of the world map to the door which says
Phantom Storm and run through it.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
g. Olympus Coliseum
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

You will notice you are not able to use your drive for this level,
which is explained later why. Head forward and help the girl up. Head
forward to the ??? door in front of you, and then continue forward,
defeat the heartless, and head down the ??? pathway for a cut-scene.
Afterward head down the path, defeating heartless and grab the green
chest on the left side down it a bit. You can kill those little blue
floating ball type things for MP balls. Continue to the end, take a
left at the fork, open the 3 chests along here and defeat the heartless
all the way to the end when you fall off. Head back left down the way
back to the fork and this time head right. Defeat the heartless, open
the chest opposite the tunnel, then head into the ??? tunnel for a cut-
scene.

Afterward, save if need be, then face the tunnel and look to the left
of it for a chest. Grab it then head to the other side of this watery
area to another chest with a map. Now, head into the thin green tunnel
to the left of the save point for another cut-scene. After it head up
the path till you reach the first platform and defeat the heartless
here, then continue up to the next platform and defeat more heartless
then head into the ??? doorway for another cut-scene.

Hades- Difficulty: 0/10

It would be pretty insulting to yourself if you needed a strategy to
win this battle.

After the cut-scene with Hades, leave Auron in your group then head
down the path. Once you get down to the second platform a barrier will
appear. Defeat the heartless and ignore Hades, and after they are dead
continue down to the last platform, defeat these 2 waves of heartless
then head back into the Cave of the Dead for a cut-scene, then head
into the next door, the passage, for another cut-scene. Afterward
defeat the heartless, then continue back up the path, take a left when
you come to it, defeating the heartless along the way. Head all the
way back up to Cave of the Dead: Entrance for another cut-scene.

Cerberus- Difficulty: 5/10

Cerberus has 3 main attacks. He will jump into the air and slam back
down causing a shockwave (just jump at the right time), he will turn to
you and bite at you (when he whips around towards you hit him in the
head as much as you can, but when he pulls his heads back watch out).
Finally, he will occasionally grab you and try to crush you between 2
of his heads. Just follow the triangle prompts, and after you evade it
he will be stunned on the ground, so hit him like mad. Be sure to use
Bushido whenever you get a chance; you should not need to heal yourself
as Auron will heal you when you are low on HP.

After the fight, head forward onto the platform and save if need be,
then head left into the narrow doorway into the ??? area for another
cut-scene. Afterward head toward the gates for another cut-scene with
Hercules. After head into the ??? doorway for another cut-scene.
Afterward talk to Phil and do the practice challenge.

Read the tips, then start the challenge. This challenge is so easy its
ridiculous. Each small pot gives 3 orbs, you need 20 in a minute and a
half. Its real easy to do it in 20 seconds.

Talk to Phil again and do the Maniac Challenge. This challenge is a
bit harder but not much. You should be able to do it in 45 seconds
without a problem: just get in the middle of big clumps of pots and go
nuts. Collect the orbs after about 7 seconds of smashing pots so they
don't disappear.

After the challenge talk to Hercules. Watch the FMV, and afterward
save if need be, then head back out into the front of the Coliseum and
back into the Underworld Entrance for a cut-scene. Afterward, open the
chest for a power boost, and then head down the path into the door at
the end for another cut-scene. Afterward head forward and you will
fall through the ground. These new heartless are painfully annoying
because their ranged attacks toss you back and prevent you from hitting
them. Just keep trying to get closer and hit them and once you do be
sure to stay close so they will not use range again. Defeat the
heartless down here, and then head forward into the ??? area. Defeat
the heartless and open the chest in here, then head left and down the
left path. Open the chest at the end, then head right, defeat the
heartless, and afterward open the other chest. Next, face the chest
you just opened near the entrance doorway, and head left. Continue
down until you come across some heartless, defeat them and then open
the chest. Continue down the path, and take a right into the ???
tunnel area. Head into the right corner and open the chest, then head
left, up the ramp out of the fog or whatever that is, then head forward
and jump onto the platform with the chest and open it. Jump back and
head into the room for a cut-scene.

Forms- Difficulty: 4/10

This is not too hard: just attack them regularly, and when the wild
dance prompt appears, tap triangle quick to kill a bunch of forms.

After the battle you obtain the Olympus stone and Ansem's Report 5.
Head into the door in front of you to The Lock. Go to the case in the
middle and hit triangle to go to the rescue. Open the chests on the
right and left, save if you want, then head into the hole.

Watch the cut-scene. Defeat the bats first, then get the boss guy down
to 0 health, then defeat the other heartless that spawn. Fight them
till the cut-scene appears, then afterward fight them again, this time
before the cave collapses. You drive now works if you want to use it.
Defeat the smaller heartless first then focus on the Boss. Once he
gets down to 0 health use the Pinball prompt and keep hitting him and
you should defeat him.

Afterward watch the cut-scene and head back up to the Coliseum Gates
for a cut-scene.

Hydra- Difficulty: 7/10

At the start of the battle lock on to his head, obviously. When he
comes down to attack, just attack as much as you can before he heads
back up. Use the Vanquish prompt when it appears, then when the 3
heads appear, jump onto the hydra's back, and hit the 2 triangle
prompts. Now, get down quickly and defeat the head, and after its hp
is zero, wait and hit the vanquish command. Do that for the other 2
heads as well and he will pop back out of the ground. If you cannot do
it in that time, do one head, redo the thing with Phil, then do another
head. After the Hydra pops out of the ground, lock onto a head, and
when he gets close to the ground, go nuts again, but stay clear when
they are not next to the ground, stay back to avoid their slamming
heads. When he whips his tail around, jump, and then jump again when
he whips it back. Select the Pegasus run prompt once it appears and
then hit the attack prompts as they pop up. Once his health is down to
0, run up and hit the vanquish prompt to end the battle.

After the battle, watch the FMV and then you are done with this level.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
h. Disney Castle
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Once the level starts, talk to Chip and Dale if you want, then head
through the doorway in front of you. Head up the stairs to the right
and up into the ??? doorway for a cut-scene. Defeat all the heartless
that spawn (Watch for the Dodge roll prompts and use them when they
appear). Afterward, open the chests on the ledges here. Start with
the one on the far left (The one which looks like a pig playing a big
horn) by jumping onto the small platform that leads to another chest on
the right of it. Next, take the chest on the right. Defeat any
additional heartless you encounter while taking these chests. After
taking these 2 chests, head right and take the chest on the green
platform there with the animal playing the flute. Afterward head to
the corner and take the chest there. Continue around and take the
chest by the middle platform. Next, head left up the steps, defeat the
heartless, and then head up and to the right and take the chest there.
Finally, open the chest in the closest corner to those chests, with the
guy playing the trumpet. Once you get that chest, head to the next
corner, continuing around the same direction you have been, defeat the
heartless here, then head into the ??? door.

Head up the stairs and along the path, defeating all the small
heartless as you go. A good tactic is to skip ahead, spawn a bunch of
them, and then just spam your fire magic. After defeating all the
small heartless, head into the ??? door at the end and approach the
queen for a cut-scene.

Afterward open the chest to the left, save if you want, then head
through the door. The best way to do this is to leave Minnie at the
end until you clear out all the heartless, then move her forward. Just
leave Minnie far back, and most heartless, if not all, will go for her
instead of attack you, so just kill them before they get to her. After
you clear the heartless, call Minnie to that purple door on the right
and use the Finish prompt for a cut-scene. Afterward head into the ???
door that just opened for another cut-scene.

For this part, stay by Minnie the whole time. Don't move forward.
When it gets later in the part, move forward just a little bit, but
keep a front line. If one of the heartless advances toward Minnie,
attack it instead. Just share attacks to keep them back. After you
defeat all these heartless, head to the throne and select Finish.
Watch the cut-scene.

Afterward, save if need be.
