SUMMARY:

Banished. Left for dead. But this hero refused to

be forgotten...

Jak and his faithful companion Daxter are exiled

to the unforgiving wasteland, where survival of

the fittest is the law of the land. But deadly

lands and dangerous creatures are only the

beginning. Soon the worst nightmare imaginable

finds Jak's world, threatening to annihilate all

life with eternal darkness - a darkness Jak knows

only too well.

Jak's exciting trilogy comes to a close, leading

at last to revelations about the mythical warrior

Mar, secrets to Jak's enigmatic past, and

ultimately to the shocking revelation of who the

Precursors really are.

BASICS:

Saving-to save, press the START button while in

game. You will be brought to the pause menu, which

is a big circle. Navigate through the menu until

you get to the option "Save Game". Click it, pick

which slot/file you want to save to, and save.

Loading-to load, press the START button while in

game. You will be brought to the pause menu, which

is a big circle. Navigate through the menu until

you get to the option "Load Game". Click it, pick

which slot/file you want to load, and load it.

Secrets-if you collect enough Precursor Orbs, you

can buy secrets. Precursor Orbs are like glowing,

gold, egg-shaped orbs that you can find in the

game. To access the Secrets Shop, pause while in

game, and navigate through the menu until you get

to "Secrets". Your first time coming here, you

will probably see a lot of question marks. To

unlock the secret that replaces the question mark,

you have to play through the game. If you want to

buy a secret, make sure that you have enough orbs

to buy it. The number to the right of a secret is

how many orbs it costs. The upper left corner of

the Secret Shop menu displays the amount of orbs

you have. The upper right displays the total

amount of orbs that you have collected throughout

the game. This means that there are a total of 600

orbs in the entire game.

Missions-this game is based on missions. You must

complete missions to continue through the story.

You can view your missions (ones you have done,

ones you haven't done, and ones you are currently

doing) by going to the pause menu, and then going

to the "Missions" section.

The following sections are the main walkthrough.

They cover the main aspects of the game. Cheats,

hints, tips, and FAQs will be included. Any

spoilers and cheats will be noted, for those that

don't want to be 'spoiled' or that don't want to

cheat. Any other thing included, you will most

likely notice, unless you skip sections.

When you first load the game disc, and get past

the beginning loading screens, you will have a

cut-scene that shows Jak getting banished, and

getting a beacon from Ashelin. Daxter and Pecker

decide to join Jak. Later on, all three of them

pass out, and some people from Spargus City find

him and take him to the city. You will now be at

the game's main menu. Click the start button. If

you have a game file already, you can load it now,

but it won't be going along with the guide, so

then you'll have to skip ahead. If you don't have

a game file already, choose new game. You can also

edit a few options from here too.

After clicking on new game, you will get another

cut scene. You will meet King Damas, the king of

Spargus. He tells you to prove your worth, and you

must complete a training course. You will be

brought to the arena, and learn that Pecker is now

the King's advisor. After the cut scene is over,

walk into the yellow beam of light to begin the

training course.

In the first training course, you must collect

thirty-five glowing orbs. Left analog stick is

used to walk, right analog stick is used to turn

he camera. Walk forward and jump up onto the three

platforms. ROLL (press L1 while walking to roll)

across the narrow bridge, and collect the orbs

along the way. Walk up to the fake statue thing

and press the CIRCLE button to attack it. Turn to

the left and you will see a ladder. Climb it.

Double jump (press X two times, the second one in

mid-air) up the next ledge. You will see another

fake statue. Press the square button to punch it.

When you punch, you glide forward. So be careful,

don't punch when you're facing a ledge. If you do,

you will fall off. Get the orbs and turn left.

Jump across the gap onto the small, square

platform. Then jump across another gap onto the

next platform. You will see a big ledge to the

right. Walk next to hit and do a high jump (hold

L1 and press X). You will grab the ledge. To climb

the ledge, just press the X button while hanging

from it. Get the orbs and jump onto the moving

platform. By now, you should have 11 orbs left.

Now, there is a big gap that you have to jump

across. To do this, walk towards it and roll. When

you get close to the edge, press the X button.

You will then jump across the gap. Don't worry if

you don't make it. There is a platform below you

to catch you if you fall. If you do fall, just

turn around and climb the ledges on the right.

Turn right and jump onto the platform that is

moving up and down. Jump to the next platform. Get

all of the orbs here. By now you should have only

four remaining. On this same platform, you will

see a trapdoor like thing. Go onto it. Do a pound

attack (Jump and press the SQUARE button mid-air)

to make it move downwards. When you get to the

bottom, just follow the path of orbs. Jump across

the gap and get the (what should be) last orb.

A platform will rise up. Jump onto it, and it will

continue to rise. Turn around and hit the glowing

yellow beam. You will get another cut scene, and

then be told to do another training course. This

time, you have to fight real people.

Training course two is a combat course. You must

kill 20 warriors. Press the R1 button to fire your

first gun. It has a short radius, so try to get

close enough to hit them. You can also punch and

spin attack them. If you hear an alarm, quickly

get on one of the four raised platforms. The main

platform will sink, so anything on it (besides

dark eco) will get destroyed. The lifted platforms

are high enough so the lava doesn't touch anything

up on them. If you die, you just have to restart

from the beginning of this course. After you get

enough dark eco, you can press the L2 button to

turn into Dark Jak. You will get a damage increase

with physical attacks, and you will be able to

use some powerful combination techniques. After

you kill all 20 warriors, a platform will lower.

Go onto and and you will be lifted up to the king.

Jump into the yellow beam of light. You will get

a cut scene in which you gain your first war

amulet, a gate pass (so you can go in and out of

the city), and a gun mod. You will now have two

guns. The one you used against the warriors, and

a blaster. The blaster is a long-range gun with a

laser site for aiming.

%%%%%%%%%%#SC1# Spargus City First Time%%%%%%%%%%%

%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%%

Now that you're done with those training courses,

you'll have missions to do. First, from the ledge

that you were last on (where you were after the

last cut scene), jump to King Damas's chair. There

are some pots that you can smash. You can get some

dark eco and some Precursor Orbs. There are three

here. Now, go back to the previous platform, and

jump on the platform that brought you up from the

last training course. Then jump onto the platform

that leads to the doorway. When you walk far

enough into the tunnel, you will meet Kleiver. He

will tell you to snag six kanga rats from him. You

must ride a Leaper Lizard to get them. There is

one waiting for you in the doorway. Walk up to it

and press the TRIANGLE button. Then just run

around the city until you see a kanga rat. Run up

to the rat and press square to attack it. They are

represented on the mini map as red, blinking dots.

Mission 1-Unlock the Satellite

To do this, you must first go and talk to Seem.

She is represented by an icon of her face on the

mini map. When you talk to her, you will get a

cut scene. You will then have to play a mini game.

To do this, you must click the corresponding

button (either X, Circle, Triangle, or Square)

when the button icon enters one of the moving,

blue circles. You must get 75 hits, with at most

5 misses. It may seem like a lot, but it goes by

quickly. After you win, you will get another cut

scene. You will then have another item in your

inventory, the first Dark Eco Crystal.

Mission 2-Learn to Drive/Beat Kleiver in Race

To do this, you must go to Kleiver's garage, which

is represented on the map as a fist. Walk in, and

you will automatically talk to him. You will learn

about his cars, and you will accept a challenge to

race. Now, press TRIANGLE to enter the car, and

head outside to the desert. You will learn the

basics of driving first. You must follow the green

blinking dots on the mini map. After you do the

one that you have to jump in place, you will head

to the race track. You can save if you want, but

it isn't necessary. This is, for the most part,

easy. It is your first time driving in the game,

so that can make it a little difficult. But, there

are turbos (Press R2 when you have one) that you

get to use and the others can't. I have also,

accidentally, found out about a shortcut. It might

be obvious, but I only recently found out about

it. After you cross the three bridges at the

beginning, there is a jump that you can take to

get the second turbo. If you have a turbo, you can

use it right before the jump, and go to the left

of the jump a bit. This will cause you to jump a

gap. Usually you have to turn and go around it,

but this way lets you just jump over it. The first

time you do it, you might fall, but after you know

where the gap really is, you can easily get past

it. You must win in first place to conintue. When

you win, you will have to drive back to Spargus.

But, there are marauders chasing you. You don't

have any weapons or shields, so you just have to

get back to Spargus as soon as you can. When you

do, you will get another cut scene. This time, it

involves King Damas.

Mission 3-Race for Artifacts

When you first go in the desert, you will have a

timer to get artifacts. Each time you get an

artifact, the timer will gain some seconds to it.

There are two to three marauders chasing you while

you're doing this, so it makes it slightly more

challenging. After you get the last artifcat, you

must race back to Spargus before time runs out.

When you get there, you will gain the arm bracers,

and you might start feeling a bit suspicious about

Damas. He might be hiding something.

Mission 4-Lizard Race

After you head out of Kleiver's garage, you will

meet Seem, the monk, again. She will ask you to

race her and some other monks in a Lizard Race.

You must win first place to go on. When you win,

you will get your first Light Eco Crystal. This

race is much harder than the previous race though,

so be ready.

Misison 5-Metal Head Hunting

You must now go back to Kleiver's garage. He will

tell you to hunt some Wasteland Metal Heads,

because you've got some "proving" to do. You will

be able to use the Sand Shark car for this. It has

some weapons that you can to use. You must kill

four Metal Heads to finish. They are marked as

green blinking dots on the mini map. They have a

lot of health, so it might take a while to kill

even one. Just avoid their projectiles and dodge

their ramming attacks, and you should survive. If

you get hit by a ramming attack, be prepared to

take a lot of damage. If they happen to hit you

against a pillar or some type of wall, you will

most likely blow up. The projectiles are pretty

easy to avoid though. When you win, you will gain

another Dark Eco Crystal. You will meet someone

familiar, but he is a hologram, and Jak can't seem

to remember who it is. But, no matter who it is,

you must go back to Spargus. With your new guns,

you will be able to kill the Marauders that chase

you, but now there are four of them at a time,

instead of the usual two/three. If you kill one,

you will gain a turbo boost that you can use by

pressing the R2 button, just like in the first

race against Kleiver.

Mission 6-War Amulet Number Two

The crown on the mini map represents King Damas.

You must go to it to start the next mission. This

one is another training course, just not as easy.

You will get a new gun, called the Wave Concussor.

This is a gun that you can charge, and is able to

hit multiple enemies at once. You must kill thirty

warriors this time, and as a prize you will gain

the second war amulet piece, and the Beam Reflexor

gun. This gun is an improvement to the other

yellow gun because this one has bouncing bullets.

The bullets will ricochet off of walls and people.

Mission 7-Wild Leaper Lizards

Go to back to Kleiver's garage again. You will get

a cut scene in which Damas tells you to herd some

wild leaper lizards. To do this, you drive up

close behind one so Daxter leaps on to it. You

must then control Daxter and the lizard into the

holding pen. You can't control the lizard's speed,

but only the direction it is going and when it

jumps. You need to do this a total of three times.

You will then gain the Dune Hopper Car. This car

can jump much higher than the other, and it has

mines for weapons.

Mission 8-Volcano Gliding

To get to the temple, go to the red icon (a snake

maybe). You must use the Dune Hopper to jump the

various gaps along the way. When you get to the

icon, you will have to get off of your car so you

can get through the pillars. Walk through them and

turn to the right, then enter the doorway. You

must then climb the rubble and swing along the

poles. You must hurry across the collapsing

platforms after you get pass all of the poles. You

can extend Jak's jump by pressing the CIRCLE

button mid-air. When you get to the top, you will

find a Monk Glider. You must fly through the rings

or you might fall and have to restart. If there is

a closed ring, you must shoot it by pressing the

R1 Button. THen it will open up. There are also

purple things that are there. Fly through those to

get boosts also. After you get the last ring, fly

through the tunnel entrance. Be prepared though.

This is really hard, and it will more than likely

take you a few tries to finish the whole thing.

Mission 9-Find the Satellite

Now, just follow the path, killing any enemies

that you must. Watch out for any crumbling

platforms and ledges. After a short time, you will

find a Leaper Lizard. You must catch it. But, of

course, there are enemies along the way. Kill them

while you are trying to catch the lizard. Use the

lizard to jump the gaps and go over all of the

lava. When you get to the ladder, get off of the

lizard and climb it. Follow along the path for a

little while. When you come to a tree, you will

get a short cut scene in which Daxter leaves Jak

and climbs the tree. Now, you must control Daxter.

Climb along the fence thing and avoid the fire

balls. When you get to the end, drop off and keep

going. You will then need to jump some gaps, but

be careful of the lavafalls (waterfalls, but lava

instead of water). After you get get to the next

grassy platform, a few Metal Heads will appear.

Either avoid them or kill them, either way, move

on. Continue on, and you will have to go across a

fence thing again. Go along the edges here, so you

can avoid the fireball easier. Drop down on the

other side and walk up to the big pillar. Daxter

will automatically knock it down. Go across it and

walk to Jak. With Jak and Daxter back together,

go back across the bridge. Use the crouching jump

(L1 and then jump) to grab on to the ledge. Keep

going along the path until you get to a geyser.

There should be a small rock next to it. Hit the

rock into the geyser, and it then can be used as a

platform to get up to the next platform. Continue

along the long path until you get to a platform

that Jak can't jump to. Daxter will climb in a

pipe automatically. You will then control him

while he is sliding down the pipe. Lean left and

right and jump to get pass all of the broken parts

of the pipe. At the end, follow the path until you

get to a big cliff. Bounce on the trampoline type

things to climb it. There are a few enemies along

the way, but after you get past all of the cliffs,

Daxter will have a little, slightly comedic, cut

scene in which he attempts to push a rock over the

cliff. When he ends up getting it over, Jak and

Daxter will be reunited. Use Jak to push the same

rock onto the geyser. Then use the newly formed

platform to get up onto the cliff. Follow the path

until you come across a set of three geysers. The

two side ones need some rocks on top of them, so

push the rocks over them. Hop on the middle geyser

to ride up higher. Follow the platform steps up

until you get to a lava river with platforms

floating down it. You will see a ladder on the

opposite side from which you are standing. Use the

platforms to hop over to the ladder, which you

must then climb. At the top, you will see the

satellite. You will get a cut scene that, in my

opinion, is quite funny. In this cut scene, you

gain a new Dark Power. It is the power of

invisibility. But, to use this power, you must be

standing by a Dark Eco Idol.

Mission 10-Find the Oracle

There are some platforms floating along the lava

river. Get on one and ride it down until you see a

platform that has some crates on it. Jump on to

this platform before the one you are riding goes

over the lavafall. Follow along the path until you

get back to the entrance. This is where your monk

glider crashed when you first arrived. You see the

Dark Eco Idol? Walk up to it and press TRIANGLE.

You will now be invisible. Walk to that floating

eye. Because you aren't visible, it won't set that

little trap that you may have noticed. This is a

warp. Now, you'll notice that you're back at the

place with all of the poles. But don't worry, you

don't need to use the poles again. Walk up to the

Dark Eco Idol and turn invisible again. Then walk

past the floating eye. Climb down the stairs,

killing the spider like enemies. When you get to

the bottom, you will see a purple fountain thing.

If you walk in to this, your Dark Eco Meter will

fill all the way up. Continue on into the circular

chamber. Whatever you do, DO NOT walk in between

the pillars, unless you are invisible. If you do,

you will die. Those floating guards, they will

electricute you. Walk around the outside of the

pillars, and use the Dark Eco Idol to turn

invisible. You can now safely walk into the

pillars. Now, walk into the exact center of all of

the guards. Don't worry about turning visible.

When you are visible, they won't attack you, but

you'll have a chance to attack them. Get the Wave

Concussor gun (the second red one) and charge it

to the maximum charging capability. Let it go, and

you will kill all of the guards at once. Now, use

the vertical smash attack (Jump and press SQUARE

in mid-air). Doing this opens a door. Walk through

the door and kill the waves of spider enemies that

come at you. When they are all dead, continue on.

Turn invisible and sneak across the poles. If you

try while visible, the poles will become

electrified. Hurry across the poles though. If you

turn visible while on the poles, you will get

electricuted and have to start over. When you get

to the end, you can use the Dark Eco Fountain to

fill up your Dark Eco Meter. Continue through the

doorway. This is the Oracle's chamber. Kill the

wave of spiders that come through also. Step onto

the altar and you will get your first Light Eco

Power. It is Light Regeneration. To use it, hold

the L2 Button and press TRIANGLE. You can now use

the warp portal nearby to return to the entrance

of the temple. You're done with the mission. But

now, you have to drive all the way back to Spargus

City. If you want to take a shortcut, drive into

some water, but exit out of the car right before

it goes over the cliff. You will get a message

saying "Vehicle Destroyed" and it will cause you

to restart in Kleiver's garage.

Mission 11-Wastelander Rescue

Go to King Damas's throne room and talk to him to

start this mission. Go to Kleiver's garage and get

in the Sand Shark. There are four wastelanders to

resuce. They are the green blinking dots on the

mini map. You need to pick them up one person at a

time. There is a time limit, but it resets each

pick-up and drop-off. You can kill some Marauders

for some turbos to gain some speed.

Mission 12-Destroy the Satellite

When you get to the fourth wastelander, you will

discover that he has been killed. And a Dark Eco

Satellite is what killed him. This is your first

big battle of the game. Stay underneath the

satellite when it is firing beams downwards. It

will be flying around while doing so. Shoot at the

Satellite's bottom area. When the energy field

around the satellite disappears, it might try to

crush you by slamming in to the ground. While it

is in the ground, it will try to hit you with its

tentacles, and some radiation rings. Jump to avoid

both of these. Shoot at the satellite while it is

in the ground too. If you ever run out of ammo,

pick some up from the ground. Ammo will appear

occasionally. When you beat the satellite, you

will have to race back to Spargus. You will then

gain the third Dark Eco Crystal.

Mission 13-Turret Challenge

Go to the other half of Spargus City, and walk to

Kleiver. He is, once again, the fist on the mini

map. He is standing by the island. He challenges

you to beat his score in a Turret Shooting game.

Score 7000 points without missing more then 10

targets. Targets will rise out of the water, and

you must shoot them before they go back in. The

sooner you shoot them, the more points you will

earn. For winning, you will gain your second

Light Eco Crystal.

Mission 14-War Amulet Number Three

Go to King Damas again. He is represented by the

sword on the mini map. He will give you a new gun.

The Vulcan Fury. You must do another challenge

course, and kill 30 warriors. But, this time the

warriors have guns. You can take them out with the

Blaster and your new Vulcan Fury. When the alarms

sound, platforms will rise up at different corners

of the arena. Jump on any one of them to get away

from the lava. When you kill the last warrior, you

will meet an old friend. After a short cut scene,

Damas tells you and Sig to kill some metal heads

and their nests.

Mission 15-Metal Head Nest Killing

Go to Kleiver's garage and meet Sig there, waiting

in the Gila Stomper car. You get to work with Sig

in this mission. When you get out in the desert,

drive to the icon on the map. I think it's a cave

icon, but I'm not sure. While you're driving, you

may notice that the machine gun on top of your car

automatically targets the Marauders that chase

you. That's right, and auto-targeting machine gun.

This will be very helpful during this mission.

When you get to the cave, Sig will blow it open by

using his gun. Drive through the newly formed hole

and continue down the path to the nest. There are

ten nests to destroy. It's quite obvious what they

are when you see them. Just shoot at them until

they blow up. Make sure to keep moving to avoid

enemy attacks, and keep firing to kill the eggs

and Metal Heads. After you kill the last egg, you

have three minutes to get out of the nest. The

last set of five eggs has a shortcut that can get

you out of the cave sooner. The eggs that are

attached to a pillar will knock the pillar down

when killed. Take that to get the shortcut. When

you get out of the cave, you will hear Damas's

voice, and he will say a few things. Now, you just

have to get back to Spargus.

Mission 16-The Oasis

The Tree on the mini-map is where you need to go

now. It is an oasis in the middle of the desert.

I recommend taking the Sand Shark to get there.

When you arrive, you will see Ashelin again. You

and her will talk a bit, and then some Marauders

will arrive. You have to kill 55 of them, and do

it without letting Ashelin die. After you kill of

of the Marauders, you will get another cut-scene.

Looks like Jak has a bit of temper, even when he

isn't as his dark-self. But, you will gain the

Seal of Mar from Ashelin, and the Jetboard as a

gift from Keira. Yes, it's a lot like the Jetboard

from previous Jak games. Now, just head back to

the city by following the tire icon on the map. If

you chose the Dune Hopper for this mission, just

follow the Serpent Icon on the map instead.

Mission 17-To the Catacombs

When you get back to Kleiver's garage, change cars

into the Dune Hopper, then follow the serpent icon

on the map, back to the Monk's Temple. Go into the

room, and walk through the doorway that used to

have the eye sentry guarding it (the one that had

the spike trap in front of it). Don't worry about

the spikes, as they won't activate anymore. Walk

down the staircase, killing or avoiding the few

enemies that appear. When you get into the large,

circular room, walk to the door in the back. It is

dark brown, and is in the shape of a sideways yin

yang. Jak will automatically open it when you walk

close to it. The Seal of Mar has some special

abilities it seems. Walk through the opened door

and follow along the path again, killing or

avoiding the few enemies again. You will see a

floating green and purple thing. Touch it, then

pull out your hoverboard by pressing R2. Glide

along the water, collecting the three "orbs" (that

is what I will call them) that float above the

water. You will learn the basics of using the

hoverboard in this section. There are 18 orbs that

you have to get. The first four are easy, first

being the one you first touched, the other three

being the ones that you jumped to get. Now, there

will be a staircase that opens up after you get

the first four. Go up it and collect the remaining

fourteen orbs. When you get all of them, a door

will open up on the opposite side of the flooded

area. Go through that door and continue down the

hallway. If you need to refill your Light Eco

Meter, use the Light Eco Fountain to refill it.

Enter the Oracles' chamber and step on the yellow

pillar of light. You will now gain your second

light eco power, the ability to slow down time. To

use this power, hold the L2 button and press the

square button. Remember, when using this power,

time is not completely stopped, but only going

very slowly. Luckily Jak doesn't slow down, and he

gets to go at his regular speed while everything

else is slow. You will notice that there isn't a

warp portal to go back to the beginning, like

there was last time. But don't worry, you just get

to test out your new power. See those spinning,

circular platforms? Slow down time, and follow

those platforms to an unmoving ledge. When you get

to that ledge, follow the corridor until you get

to the beams. Pull out your hoverboard and grind

across them. Be careful not to fall, or you will

have to start all over, and that will suck a lot.

Be careful though, there are some spots where you

will have to jump to a rail, or jump a gap in a

rail. Remember to click square before you hit the

rail, or you will have a greater risk of falling.

You will eventually come to a door. If you go

through it on the hoverboard, you will get off of

it automatically. There will be some spinning

pillars here. Use the Slow Down Time power to get

across them. But still, hurry across to lower the

chances of the time to speed back up before you're

all the way across. There are a total of three

spinning pillars that you have to cross to get to

the next part. You will be at a collapsing bridge

now. This collapses really fast, so make sure to

slow down time before going across. Jump along the

bridge until you get to the other side, and open

the door using the Seal of Mar. This door leads to

an elevator that brings you down to the catacombs.

Mission 18-Through the Catacombs

After you get to the catacombs, walk up to the

yellow vehicle. You will get a cut-scene in which

Pecker tells you a few things. Jak will activate

the vehicle, and you will have Pecker in your

party. Hop in the vehicle and prepare for a ride.

Yes, this ride brings you back to Haven City, but

don't get your hopes up. There are, of course, a

few challenges on the way, before you actually get

to Haven. To get through this thing, you must kill

the objects that block your path, by shooting them

(with the R1 button). Also, avoid the pits that

you come across. Any deaths or falls will make you

start over at the beginning of the catacombs. You

can lean left and right to dodge the pits. When

you get to the end, you will recieve your third

Light Eco Power. This one is used by holding the

L2 button and pressing Circle. It is a shield-type

thing that will block everything (from what I've

experienced at least). Now just go to the door

that you see to continue on to the next mission.

Mission 19-The Eco Mines

Pecker will go on ahead, leaving your party. After

you've gone through that door and up the elevator,

you will need to jump a few ledges. If you need

to, you can watch Pecker to see where he goes. You

just need to follow him up the ledges. When you

get to the top, you will get a short cut-scene.

This is when Pecker officially goes on ahead. You

will be told to shoot the pillar to form a bridge.

Do this. Kill the enemies, the shoot the next two

bridges. Kill the other enemies too. After you go

across the third bridge, walk all the way forward

and then turn left. Walk down the small pathway

until you see a square platform. Get on it and go

down. Shoot the pillar to form a bridge and jump

on it before the square platform breaks. Kill the

enemies, I use the scatter gun to get a better

chance of hitting multiple times with one shot.

Continue along, killing more enemies, then getting

another pillar to shoot. Walk across it and jump

to the square lift. This one will go upwards. When

you get to the top, jump off and kill the two

enemies that attack you. Walk along the path, and

kill a few more enemies. You will come to a part

with a few platforms to jump across. You will

clearly see some lizards on the walls, but wait to

shoot at them until after you get across the

platforms, or if they attack you. After they're

dead, turn left up the the small slope. Then turn

left again down a narrow pathway. Be careful here,

because there are some enemies down there, and you

will be attacked as soon as you turn the corner to

the right. Have a gun ready and shoot them. There

is another square lift here. Get on it and ride it

downwards. Shoot the pillar to make another bridge

and jump on to it before the lift breaks. Kill the

enemies. You will see a large, circular thing on

the ground. It is an elevator, so walk on to it

and ride it down to the bottom. There is another

lift, this time a rectangle, that you ride down.

When you get to the bottom, kill the enemies. You

will see a wheel down there, and some orange

creatures. If you hit the orange creatures (that

come out of the pipe) into the wheel, the creature

will start running and spinning the wheel. This

will cause some platforms to fold out, allowing

you to continue onwards. Do this, I think, a total

of five times, including the first one. When you

do the last one, continue on, and you will get a

cut-scene. You will now have some Leg Armor, which

will increase your total health. Turn around and

walk into the yellow pillar of light.

Mission 20-The Bomb Train

After walking in to the light pillar, you will

need to hit the switch by either punching it (with

Square) or kicking it (with Circle). Either way,

you will activate a crane that moves a big bomb on

to a track. This bomb is important for you to get

to Haven City. You need to blow up a portion of

wall with it. The bomb train moves forward by

itself, but there are some parts of the track that

is raised. You need to shoot the circular targets

underneath each raised section to lower it. If the

bomb train hits a gap, it will blow up and you

will have to start over. I recommend using the

Blaster (non-scattering) for this. It will target

the switches automatically, and is very good for

long-distance shooting. You don't need to wait for

the bomb train to catch up to you. Just go ahead

of it and lower all tracks. You might need to use

your Hoverboard a few times during this mission.

After you get the bomb to blow up the wall, walk

through it. There are two pillars that you have to

shoot to make bridges first, before you can go

through the door. Get on the round thing in the

middle of this area. It will act as an elevator.

You will go down to the bottom. Walk through the

door at the bottom, and you will get a cut-scene.

Mission 21-Precursor Robot

In the cut-scene, you will meet Count Veger again.

Yes, he's the guy that banished you. You will

learn something about Veger, and maybe have a

laugh, depending on how much of a sense of humor

you have. Then, you will meet your next adversary.

This giant enemy cannot be shot at by your regular

guns. Well...it can, but there won't be any use.

Right now, just avoid a few attacks. The first

attack is a sword. Jump over the energy waves that

the sword creates. Next, the robot will summon a

few metalheads. Kill them and pick up the ammo

that is dropped. Sometimes the metalheads will

split up into multiple enemies, so watch out. Now,

the robot will shoot some laser beams at the

ground. This will cause some pillars to appear.

Avoid the beams, and then jump on the pillars when

they are cooled down. Get onto the highest pillar

and shoot at one of the bombs. Hit it enough times

and it will fall over and hit the robot in the

head. Do this two more times to kill it. I forgot

to mention, when those pillars are cooled down,

watch out for the blue energy blasts that the

robot shoots at you as you climb the pillars. Now,

after each time you hit the robot with a bomb, it

will attack more and more, so make sure to be more

and more careful. After you kill the Precursor

Robot, you will gain another gun mod, this time it

is the Arc Wielder. Go forward and walk through

the door in front of you. Congratulations, you are

now in Haven City.

Congratulations, you've made it past your time in

Spargus City (at least for now). You're already in

Haven City, and you may be happy. But seeing the

wreckage there, you may not. But, you've gotten

through a lot of the game now, along with some of

the toughest parts in the entire game. Now, don't

get your hopes up. You still have a lot to go.

Mission 22-Catching up with Old Friends

When you first leave the elevator, you will be in

good old Haven City. You will notice that there

are enemies out, so kill them. Follow the icon on

the mini-map (I think it's supposed to be a very

bad icon of Samos). When you get there, you will

get another cut-scene. The force field will block

you from reaching Samos and Keira. You need to

take the sewers to get passed. So go to the icon

on the mini-map, killing any metalheads along the

way. The door that opens will bring you to an

elevator that brings you down to the sewers. You

can use the Hoverboard to get through this area

more quickly and easily, but be careful not to

fall into the pits. There are some fans that can

be destroyed with a few bullets. If there are

rooms that you don't seem to be able to continue

any farther, make sure you kill all of the enemies

in that area. There is one section with two

whirlpools in it. Kill the enemies to lower a pipe

that you grind over using the Hoverboard. You will

eventually come to a part with a lot of metalheads

on a cliff to the left of you. You need to kill

all of them, and that's the place you need to get.

Just cross over the bridge, turn around to the

left, and follow up there. You will then need to

turn right and go through a door. Kill the deadly

metalheads there (if you have ammo for the scatter

gun, I'd recommend using that gun. Makes it a lot

easier). Then continue on to the left, climbing

a few ledges, and going through another door. This

one leads to an elevator. Go up it, and you will

be in the main part of Haven City. Finally, out of

the sewers and into the good old city that chose

to banish you.

Mission 23-Blast Bots

When you get out of the sewers, you will see a new

icon on the mini-map. Follow it and you will be

at The Naughty Ottsel. Walk in and you will get a

cut-scene with Torn filling you in on some details

and such. You will then be sent to kill some Blast

Bots. There are three of them to kill, and they're

all marked as green dots on the map. Leave the bar

and grab a Zoomer. Then go to the dots and kill

the Blast Bots. Ignore the other KG Enemies, and

only go for the ones you need to. You can shoot

them, or attempt to knock their bombs back at them

to do more damage. Either way, just kill all three

and you will be done. There is a time limit, all

though the clock doesns't appear until there are

about 10 seconds remaining. If they reach the bar

(where Torn is), the mission will be failed.

Mission 24-The Barrier Missile

Return to the Naughty Ottsel Bar and talk to Torn.

He will ask you to power up a missle and destroy

the barrier to the Industrial Sector of Haven. To

start the missile mission, touch the yellow beam

of light. Daxter will hop on the missile and fire

it up. It will be flying at full speed, unable to

be slowed. But, you can still turn it and make it

'jump'. There are eco charges (green dots on map)

that you must collect to increase the missile's

damage. Hitting a wall or a mine will result in a

mission failure, but hitting the people won't do

anything. There isn't a time limit for this one.

After you get all of the eco charges, just drive

directly at the barrier. A cut-scene will start

before you actually hit the barrier, so you don't

have to worry.

This section will explain the eight powers you can

unlock in the game. Four for Dark Jak and four for

Light Jak. It will explain how to use each power,

what each power does, when the power is unlocked,

and maybe a few other things. Hope it helps you.

Dark Jak:

First, you need to know how to transform in to

Dark Jak. To do this, press and hold the L2 Button

for a few seconds, and then release. Jak will then

turn into Dark Jak. You do not need a 100% full

Dark Eco Meter to do this, but without a 100% full

meter, you won't be able to do some of the powers,

or you won't be able to use a power for a longer

length of time.

Advantages-both punching and kicking attacks have

enhanced damage. He takes half the regular damage

from enemy attacks.

Disadvantages-the ability to roll is gone. You

need to be in the Dark Jak form to use any of the

powers (unlike the Light Jak powers). The only

power that this doesn't apply to is the Invisible

Power.

Powers-there are four Dark Powers. These powers

seem to be mainly geared towards offense. Here are

some details on each of the powers for Dark Jak.

Light Jak:

First, you need to know how to transform in to

Light Jak. To do so, press and hold the L2 Button.

While holding the L2 button, press one of the

symbol buttons (square, circle, triangle, X),

depending on which power you want to use.

Advantages-all four of the powers are useful in

some way or another, especially the shield and the

regeneration powers. Do not need to be in the form

to use a power, although you automatically change

into the form after using a power.

Disadvantages-no damage increase, or enemy damage

decrease. Lose the abilities to crouch and roll.

Powers-there are four Light Powers. These powers

seem to be mainly geared towards defence. Here are

some details on each of the powers for Light Jak.

Version 1.0~March 25, 2009~First version. Added

the "Copyright Information", "Game Information",

"Version Information", "Special Thanks", and

"Permission" sections. Also added the "Main

Walkthrough" section. Added Missions 1 through 10

in the "Spargus City First Time" section. Lastly,

I added a section called "The Beginning". The next

version will include more missions up until the

first time Jak and Daxter get to Haven, hopefully.

Version 1.1~March 31, 2009~Added Missions 11 to 15

in the "Spargus City First Time" section. I ended

up delivering this version late, and having not as

much added to it as I planned. Got a bit behind in

school. I'll try to get all the way up to Haven

City in the next version.

Version 1.2~April 16, 2009~Added Missions 16 to 21

in the "Spargus City First Time" section. I got

the missions up to Haven City, first time now. But

it did take me a lot longer then expected. Didn't

realize how much school could effect my activity.

But, better late then never. Will be adding the

"Haven City First Time" section in the next

version, along with some missions. I'm hoping to

have a section that explains the Light and Dark

Jak powers that you can get throughout the game.

Also, either in the next version or the one after

that, I am hoping to have a section for the guns

that are obtained throughout the game.

Version 1.3~April 27, 2009~Added the "Haven City

First Time" section, along with the Haven City

Intro and Missions 22 to 24. Added the "Dark/Light

Jak Powers" section, along with the basic stuff in

it. I'm hoping to add more missions, maybe up to

the second visit to Spargus City. Maybe a section

for the weapons.
