Hello and welcome to my Grand Thief Auto: San Andreas walkthrough and FAQ. This is my first guide and FAQ so please bear with me. Please do not expect updates daily although I will update as much as possible.

I hope to have the main story missions done by the end of November and the hundred percent completion guide done by December. Currently I am only in the desert missions and hope to be moving on to Las Ventures as soon as possible.

Q: When do I go to San Fierro?
A: Once you complete Green Sabre
Q: When can I fly?
A: At the beginning of the game. Go to the airport and jump the fence. You may need to jump on a car to get over the wall.
Q: What are the schools?
A: The Driving school is in San Fierro, The Boating school across the Gant Bridge. I am yet to go to piloting school, but people, just keep doing the missions you will get there.
Q: Why can�t I get 100%?
A: Because you used cheat codes. Or because you didn�t complete everything needed to get 100%. Here is the list:

Q: What are the oysters, horseshoes, snapshots, and tags?
A: They are the �hidden packages� of SA. There are 100 tags in Los Santos, 50 snapshots in San Fierro, 50 horseshoes in Las Ventures, and 50 oysters in the oceans of SA. They are needed for 100%. A map of them all is located here:

Q: Is there really two-player?
A: Yes there is 2 player. You can find them at your girl friends house.
Q: How do I take over turf?
A: Complete the mission �doberman�. You can take over turf by recruiting Grove streets and going into other gangs turf. Turf wars work like this:
Go into a area that another gang owns and kill three of their members very quickly then the following occurs:
Wave 1: Members of the other gang come at you with pistols and Mini-SMGs.
Wave2: Members of the other gang come at you with mini-SMGs and SMGs
(Survive this and the turf begins to become yours)
Wave 3: Members of the other game come at you with AKs and SMGs. Survive and the turf is yours
Q: How do I recruit gang members?
A: You walk up to a member of your gang, target them, and throw up a sign with D-Pad up
Q: Why do I want to start a gang war?
A: Although it is NOT required for 100%, there are many pros. The first is that you gain respect very quickly. Secondly you can level up your weapons. Third they are profitable, not only do other gangs drop weapons and cash you all generate money at your house in Ganton for each area you take over.
Q: How do I start Home Invasion?
A: Enter the Black Boxville across the street from the gym in Ganton,
Los Santos.
Q: How do I increase my sex appeal stat?
A: Clothing, haircuts, fitness, respect, and the last car that you drove are all
key to your sex appeal.
Q: What are the Hydra and Hunter?
They are hidden at the military base. The hunter is an apache and the Hydra a fighter jet.
IIII. Story walkthrough (the reason you all are here):
You begin the game with a bike and a few articles of clothing. Just ride the bike to the blip and get ready for the Grand Thief Auto: San Andreas

1. Big Smoke
2/10
Just ride your bike once again. Just follow right behind your homies and try to stay clear of the Ballas.
Reward: Sweet opens as a boss; Respect earned.
2. Ryder
1/10
Does not get much simpler. Get in the car with Ryder and drive to Reese�s Barber Shop. Get a cheap haircut and then go into Well-Stacked Pizza Company. Watch the cutscene, go outside, get in the car, and drive Ryder home. Now wasn�t that hard�

3.Taggin� Up Turf
1/10
Another simple mission here. Get in the car and drive to the blip. Get out, target the tags and spray, onto the next one. Simple, simple, simple. Good luck with the rest.

4. Cleaning the Hood
2.5/10
Finally a mission, kinda. Find the drug dealer, target him, and kill him. Get his bat and cross the street with Ryder. Go inside the house and start targeting them. Once they are all dead go back home.

5. Drive-Thru
3.5/10
This mission is pretty funny. Get the homies in the car and dive to clukin� bell. Once you get there your homies will see a balla car. Chase it down making sure that it does not get your hood were they will execute a drive-by on your homies in the hood. The best way to stop them is pin them and let your guys take care of the rest.
Reward: $200, respect. Also you get a call telling you about the gym, I really suggest you use it, it makes things a lot easier.
6.Nines and AKs
1/10
If you can not pass this mission give up now and throw the game out the window. Drive to emmet�s place and shot the cans, sure you can do it�Go Binco try on and buy some cloths and the mission is over. Good job big boy.

7.Drive-By
3/10 if you are you or 5/10 if you are me
For some reason this mission was much more challenging for me than everyone else, but here we go. Get in the car and drive to balla territory. Drive by and let your boys do there work. Or so I was doing�Do as I say not as I do. Just run over the ballas. You will then get a two-star wanted level, drive to the pay and spray and you have another mission pass
Reward: $500, Respect earned, Ryder and Big Smoke open up as bosses.
8. Sweet�s Girl
2.5/10
This mission is a lot easier then it may seem if you know how to do it. Get a durable car and drive to the area. Run over all of the gang members get out and shoot the other. There you go.

Part Dos
9. Doberman
3/10
This will not open up until all of the other homies missions are completed and Burning Desire is completed.
This is were you learn Gang warfare. You start by going to ammu-nation. Get some armor and a SMG.
Now go to Ganton and get some guys to help you out. Now get to the park in the middle of Glen Park. Get your guys around you and crouch. Aim and shoot down three Ballas. You have now provoked a gang war. Just say crouched and shoot at the Ballas as they come up. Then track down the guy with the blip on your map and kill him.
Reward: Gang Warfare is now open, as well as your normal respect
10. Los Sepulcos
3.5/10
You can only start this mission between 9:00 and 17:00
Your job is to take out on of the big boys of the ballas, Kane. You want to start the mission with armor and a SMG. Get in the car with sweet and your homies and drive to the cemetery in four minutes, which is very easy. Go straight at Kane and shoot him down, he has armor so it takes a minute or two but then he dies. Now take out the rest of the ballas. Get in the car with your two star wanted level. You can spray the car if you like or just head home, it really doesn�t matter.

11. Reuniting the Families
5/10
Start the mission with armor, an AK maxed out, as well as an SMG maxed out. Now drive down to the motel and watch the cops ambush. Drive into the hotel as quick as possible. Wait for the cop to come to the top of the staircase and take him out. To make this the easiest possible go slowly and retract whenever you need health, just go to the soda machine in the lobby and drink some. Besides that just shoot through the hallways hitting R1 as much as possible as cops are coming from everywhere. Also if you go up the stairs in the open rooms you can find armor. Once you find Sweet go to the roof with him. There will be a helicopter there. In order to take it down first kill all the men on the sides. This will make the atmosphere much more relaxed. Now all you have to do is shoot at the under part of the propeller were the arrow is pointing. It takes it down. Now get in the car with Ryder and Smoke. You must shoot all the cop cars on you back. This can be fun as well as annoying. Try and take out the wheels and cause reactions with the cars explode. If you survive long enough you have a mission pass and only need one more to get out of the polluted and ugly city which is Los Santos.

12.Green Sabre

For a final (city) mission this is pretty easy. Once you finish this mission you will be dumped in the middle of nowhere with on weapons or allies. It is a good idea to have a good amount of money when you start this mission as well. You start the mission thinking you are going to take out the ballas for good. As you head out Cesar gives you a call. He then shows you the betrayal of Grove Street. You now must get to sweet before his health is gone. It drops quick so you better plan your route. Once you get there start shooting ballas. When the last one drops, so are you, into the Badlands

B. Lance �Ryder� Wilson
Home Invasion
3/10
Time to learn how to rob houses. Get in the car with Ryder and drive to the house. Of coarse you are the lucky one who gets to go inside will Ryder stay outside to�um�. Watch for cops? Just be quiet and look around. There are six boxes and you only need three so it is very easy. Once you get the boxes drive to the lookup and you are done.
Reward: Respect and Home invasions open up.
Catalyst
4/10
Head to area and see that you have been set up. Vagos are everywhere. Just run over them. Now Ballas show up. Just shoot them. Now get on the train and throw the boxes to Ryder. This seems easy enough but it is a lot harder and annoying that it looks. Aim with the right stick and hope that Ryder doesn�t drop ALL of them. Now get in the car and spray the car to get rid of the three star wanted level.
3.Robbing Uncle Sam
4/10
Ryder �the Genius� has an idea. Let us rob our own country when we could rob and gun store with better weapons anyway, ok�And were off. So drive down to the base, get out and jump the fence. Take out the three guardsmen but do NOT hit the switch. Go to the warehouse and hit that switch. Take out the guards there. Now take all the crates and move them up with the forklift. Now hit the switch at the gate and let Ryder in. Now load all the boxes that are by the truck already. Now leave and mission pass.

C. Cesar Vialpando
High Stakes, Low-Rider
3/10
Time to go racing, low-rider style. Go over to Cesar�s house and roll around to his neighbors house were there is a blade, by far the low-rider with the highest top speed. Now follow him MCII style to the race location. After that it is simple, floor it on the straight and make your turns.

D. Melvin �Big Smoke� Harris
OG Loc
3/10
First pick up OG at the police station. Drive to Freddy�s house and watch the cutscene. Now jump on the back of the bike with OG and chase him down. He can get a large lead on you and he wont ditch you, this makes the mission fairly easy. Once he stops get off and kill him
Reward: Respect earned; OG Loc opens as a boss.
2.Running Dog
1/10
Drive to the pickup, chase down the Vagos and cap them.

3.Wrong side of the Tracks
4.5/10
Many find this very hard so I will go into detail. Drive to station in the car. (Or get a NRG-500 for the parking structure in East beach. It is a lot faster and makes thing much easier) Now start the mission and go as fast as you can to get up to the front of the train. Let Smoke shoot awhile, you want to be near the right end of the track you are on. Now accelerate passed the car which is on the tracks. Once the train as hit come back to the train and let Smoke have another shooting session. Now you need to get all the way to the right so that you are not run over the train. Now you are in the tunnel, allow another session here. Now take the highroad, no need to do so quickly, you have time. Now just stay with the train the rest of the way and pray Smoke gets it done.

Just Business

This one of my favorite missions in GTA history. Yes it may be one of the hardest in Los Santos, but it is insanely fun. You want to come with a SMG at hitman level. Go inside the building at target, shoot, target, shoot, until everyone is dead. Now pick up the ammo and grab the armor behind the counter. Move outside and do the same thing as you did inside. Now get on the bike and get ready for a wild, exhilarating ride. You should be worried about the cycles and then the cars. The packer will never die and never do much damage to you so you can just ignore it. Once you reach the roadblock aim for the gas cans of the cars to take them all out. Now you are on to the River aqueducts. Now shoot down all of the motorcycles and then the cars. Once you clear the jump aim for the red barrels at the side of all the cars. The make sure you shoot out the fence. You will also witness two CGs which are very T2 like.

Life�s A Beach
2/10 or 6/10
You can only do this mission between 20:00 and 6:00
If you usually play dancing and music games then this is very easy. If you don�t then well it isn�t. There really isn�t much I can tell you that will help except keep trying and tap your foot.

Madd Dogg�s Rhymes

This is a intro to stealth so it isn�t very hard. I suggest coming into the mission with a SMG. Kill all the guards with stealth and then run up stairs. In one of the rooms you will find armor. Now go downstairs and grab the book. SMG all the guards and you are good to go

Management Issues

Must start between 12:00 and 17:00
Get to the car and jack it. If you damage it on your way to rendezvous you will have to spray it. Get there by 22:00 or fail. Park the car and get in with the rest of the motorcade. Now once you pick him up head to pier, floor it, and bail out when you hit the ocean
