Intro****************************GTA1************************************* Welcome to my second GTA FAQ, and my fifth PS2 guide, too. A fun fact: this one is the first PS2 guide I've written without a number in the title. Anywho, my last GTA guide was for GTA3, written about two years ago. To be honest, it was kinda crappy. Of course, in the time since, I've become somewhat better. I hope you enjoy this one! 2. THUSLY, DESPITE UNLOCKING JD'S MISSIONS DURING VINCENZO'S, I'LL FINISH UP WITH ALL OF VINCENZO'S MISSIONS BEFORE MOVING ON. This is where you generally learn to drive. Go down to St. Marks, because you first need to change your clothing. There, you'll learn the Safehouse stuff. Go inside and into the shirt marker. Leave the safehouse and head east to Atlantic Quays to drop off Vincenzo. FUN FACT: The very building you drop Vincenzo off at had a glitch in GTA3. The garage beside it could be gone into because the door was insubstantial. O-------------------------O | Mission Name: Slacker | | | | Rewards: $100 | O-------------------------O After the cutscene, get a vehicle. Any type works fine, but if you're unused to the motorcycles (ie. haven't played Vice City/San Andreas), it'll be best to get a car. You can jack one from the street or take the one from beside the garage - either works. Once you've gotten one, go to St. Marks to pick up the dealer. When you get to him, Toni finds him to be "ill" and wants to wait to get better. Toni decides to take him to Chinatown anyhow. Drive there and drop him off. On the way, you learn that the Sindaccos are dealing in Chinatown - such a thing would put him in danger. Anyways, drop him off in the marker near the Laundrette. Woo. A hundred bucks. O--------------------------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Dealing Revenge | | | | Rewards: $500 | | Baseball Bat at Safehouse | | Car Salesman side-missions at Capital Autos | O--------------------------------------------------------O Remember the dealer from earlier. He's dead. Because of Sindaccos. Irony. Okay, the plan. You may want to get some weapons for this, if you've been grabbing Hidden Packages ahead of time. If not, you can either find some guns or just go with your fists and a car. Get a vehicle and go to Chinatown, where you dropped off the dealer earlier. There, go into the alley and into the marker to confront the other dealers. Kill the one in front of you with whatever method you deem necessary. After that, go around the area and kill the other two. One is on the west side of the alleyway and a bit north, I think. The other is along the sidewalk opposite Mr. Wong's laundrette. I think. Pretty easy, eh? O-----------------------------------O | Mission Name: Snuff | | | | Rewards: $500 | | JD O'Toole missions | | Pistols at Ammu-Nation | O-----------------------------------O After the cutscene, drive over to the Ammu-Nation in the Red Light District. Go inside and pick up the pistol. (And yes, if you got a .357 from cheating or outside-Portland exploring, you must give it up.) You can't buy additional pistols, unfortunately. Once you've gotten the pistol, go to the construction site in Hepburn Heights. Go into the marker and you'll have to shoot down some Sindaccos. There are five in all. Two are nearest the building tunnel. Two are past it, in the back area. The final one will be to the left, near a car. Kill him and grab the cell phone. Once you do, JD calls and tells you to keep the car as a deposit for some owed money. Take and re-spray it at the nearby Pay 'N' Spray. Thus, you finished the mission. O--------------------------------O | Mission Name: Smash And Grab | | | | Rewards: $1,000 | O--------------------------------O It may be a good idea to park a vehicle outside before starting. There is no guarantee that the Kurama nearby will still be there. Also, you might want to grab a few Pistols from Ammu-Nation. Once the scene's over with, take the four-door vehicle and drive over to the gas station in Harwood. As you do, take notice of the Leone meter on the right: should it reach zero, it means you'll have failed the mission. When you reach Harwood, get out and blast the cops, if you wish to. It isn't required, but why let them pop your tires? Anywho, be careful. At this point, the cops can come rushing at you because of the 3-Star wanted level. Stop by the men and speed over to the Pay 'N' Spray to rid yourself of the wanted level. Then head back to Vincenzo's to finish it up. O----------------------------------O | Mission Name: Hot Wheels | | | | Rewards: Less than $100-ish | | Jobs from Ma Cipriani | O----------------------------------O After the cutscene, go on over to Trenton. Go into the alley and into the car. And, of course, the police move in. Barrel through the cops and speed to the Red Light District. Go into the Pay 'N' Spray and ditch the 3-Star wanted level. Once you've lost the wanted level, head up into St. Marks and park in the marker. After Vincenzo calls, Toni decides to quit. Let's leave him with a going away present, shall we? Head into Harwood and park the car in the marker. Leave and let the crusher smash the car to bits. You've completed the mission. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ JD O'Toole ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Please note that, to work for JD, you cannot be wearing the Leone Outfit. O-----------------------------------O | Mission Name: Bone Voyeur! | | | | Rewards: $500 | O-----------------------------------O After the ... introductory cutscene, get in JD's van to start this. You'll have three minutes to collect $700 from JD's hookers. They all reside in the Red Light District. The idea is to simply drive around. When a blip appears on the radar, go to it - it will usually be on JD's hookers. If you go there and find a rival pimp, run over him and collect his money. It's all pretty random, but pretty simple, too. Once you've gotten the $700, you're finished. O--------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Don In 60 Seconds | | | | Rewards: $1,000 | | Salvatore's missions | | Micro-SMGs at Ammu-Nation | O--------------------------------------O It seems there is to be a police raid on JD's bar, and Salvatore's here. After the initial cutscene, drive forward and take a left. From there, go to the Pay 'N' Spray to rid yourself of the wanted level. Then just head up into St. Marks to finish the mission. Simple enough. O--------------------------------------O | Mission Name: A Volatile Situation | | | | Rewards: $1,000 | O--------------------------------------O It will be a VERY good idea to buy some Micro-SMGs from Ammu-Nation before starting this mission. After speaking with JD, head up to the Casino. You will then be informed that the Sindaccos are on their way. They arrive in three waves, by car. There are two main ways to deal with them. You can try to drive-by them in the hopes they will blow up. This would seem the best, but if you end up smacking into another car, you might just lose your targets. It is rather preferred you stick at the Casino. So, then, I'll proceed as if you're sticking at the Casino. Luckily, you're not alone - the guards will help you out. The first wave will soon arrive. They are equipped with Pistols. One will also squat by the entrance to drop a bomb. Kill him before he can and then take the others out. If you so happen to let the Sindaccos drop a bomb beside the Casino, it will damage it. You won't fail, but be careful - a second will eliminate it and you will fail the mission. The second wave will also arrive by station wagon after the three are dead. They also can drop a bomb. They are armed, but with Mac-10s. The third wave will arrive after the second is dealt with. They arrive via Patriot and will carry Micro-SMGs, like you should. After the third wave, the Sindaccos will let loose their ace-in-the-hole: a large explosive-filled truck. As it comes, get close to the street corner. After it is parked, the bomb will be armed. Immediately get inside. Of course, the driver crippled the truck and it is in a very low gear. You won't have to drive it far. You have 25 seconds to get it past the Safe Distance Line so the explosion will not harm the Casino. Once you've got it to a safe distance, get out and run. Once the truck explodes, you'll have finished the mission. O--------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Blow Up 'Dolls' | | | | Rewards: $1,500 | | A Hidden Package unlocked | | A Unique Jump unlocked | | Sindacco hostility | O--------------------------------------O Firstly, you'll want to bring a car with you prior to the mission. Any CAR will work, although it quite preferably to bring a Sindacco car. After the mission cutscene, get in the vehicle and to 8-Ball's Bomb Shop. It is near Capital Autos in Harwood. Drive in and you'll have the car armed. Be careful driving it - if the car is smashed, bashed, or shot too much, the bomb will go off - with you in the car. Take over to the Dolls House in the Red Light District. If you used a Sindacco car, just go on past. If you didn't, run over the Sindacco guards and park in the garage. Once parked, get out, run away from the building, and detonate. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ma Cipriani ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ O--------------------------------O | Mission Name: Snappy Dresser | | | | Rewards: $100 | O--------------------------------O After the cutscene, return to your (Portland) safehouse in St. Marks to grab your camera. Then drive over to Chinatown and go to Casa's deli. Once you get there, Casa will enter his van and drive off. Once he does, follow him, but not too close or too far. You'll get messages notifying you of such. Eventually, he'll stop and pick up a few hookers. Continue following him at a safe distance. Eventually, you'll arrive in a mini-forest at Callahan Point. Casa will change into a baby's outfit and chase the hookers. As he does, exit the car and go to take a picture of him. You still cannot get too close. The southern portion of the area offers the best clear shots. Zoom in on him and take a picture. You only get three shots - make 'em count. Once you get a satisfactory picture, return to Ma to complete it. O--------------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Big Rumble In Little China | | | | Rewards: Money the Triads drop. | O--------------------------------------------O Beforehand, grab a Firetruck or a Coach and take it with you to Ma's. As you, pick up some Micro-SMG ammo or Shotgun ammo (if you've been grabbing those Hidden Packages). After the cutscene, you'll have two Triad groups to get rid of. Drive the Coach/Firetruck to Chinatown. The first of the groups is in a bulletproof Triad Fish Van. Ram it until the group inside flees. Back off and let the van blow up, then rid yourself of any survivors by running over them. The second group is located in Chinatown. Speed at them and ditch the vehicle, letting it smash them. Shoot any survivors and, once they're gone, you've finished the mission. O--------------------------------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Grease Sucho | | | | Rewards: $1,500 | | Challenges from other drivers | | Thunder-Rodd spawns by the Old School (Chinatown) | O--------------------------------------------------------------O Be sure to bring some Micro-SMG ammo beforehand. After the cutscene, grab a fast car. The Leone Sentinel outside Ma's or Sal's places usually works well enough. However, you cannot use a motorbike or a Firetruck. Once you've gotten something to drive, head to the start line. Once there, the race begins. You simply drive through the checkpoints. As you do, be wary of the other drivers because they do enjoy to ram everyone. Once you get into first, you'll be fine, for the most part -- as long you don't screw up. Once you've won, Sucho will drive off. Chase him down, ram or drive-by him. When he exits his vehicle, turn around and run over him to finish him! ... I mean, the mission, of course. O---------------------------O | Mission Name: Dead Meat | | | | Rewards: $500 | O---------------------------O After the cutscene, drive on over to Casa's deli and persuade him to take a little drive with you. Then go to the Liberty City Sawmills, located in Trenton. There, after the cutscene, you must kill Casa. You wield only a Hatchet. And Casa runs just as fast you. So how to do this? When you stop, Casa will try to hide near some logs. SLOWLY WALK up behind him and batter him with the hatchet. After Casa dies and Toni makes fresh "Sausage Meat ala Casa" from Casa, you'll need to bring it to Casa's deli. The cops are onto you, however, and you need to rid yourself of the wanted level. Get in the van and head around the sawmill to the left, ignoring the cops. At the end of this path, you'll find a ramp. Launch off of it and turn right when you land. Continue towards Joey's, through the trees and the police bribe. Continue on to Casa's deli. Typically, you'll have worn off the single star when you get there. If you haven't, just run around or go to the Pay 'N' Spray. Once you are un-wanted, head to Casa's deli and make the "delivery". O-------------------------------------O | Mission Name: No Son of Mine | | | | Rewards: Random attacks by hitmen | O-------------------------------------O Before starting this, grab some Micro-SMG ammo or, preferably, the Shotgun ammo from the safehouse, if you've gotten enough Hidden Packages. After the cutscene, you'll have to deal with four hitmen. They each will wield a Pistol. If you get hurt or lose ammo, there will be Health Icon and a Micro-SMG in the parking lot. The next group of hitmen that come will wield Micro-SMGs. These will arrive in a car. This kinda makes it easier to rid yourself of them. And then there will two more groups just like the second one. Pretty simple, I guess. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Salvatore Leone ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ O---------------------------O | Mission Name: The Offer | | | | Rewards: $500 | O---------------------------O After the cutscene, head down to Portland Docks to meet with Jane Hopper, the union boss and current thorn in Salvatore's side. She'll take the money happily, but decides to not meet Sal's wishes. After this, you'll be attacked by the workers. The main thing here is to leave the docks. You have no obligation to fight the workers. Once you've left the docks, the mission will have been finished. O-----------------------------O | Mission Name: Ho Selecta! | | | | Rewards: $500 | | Jobs from Maria | O-----------------------------O For this mission, grab a Coach and a Baseball Bat (if you lack guns) before you start. After the cutscene, you'll have six minutes or so to deliver a minimum of six hookers to the picket line at the Portland Docks. Any vehicle is usable, but a Coach can take the six you need and two more to the picket line. There are two hookers you'll need to be aware of: ~~ One is at the AMCO Gas Station in Harwood. Go up to the car she's in and the clients, all three, will get out. Beat them up to get her in your car. ~~ Another is in a St. Marks alley. Again, you'll need to beat up the client before she'll get in your car. The rest of the hookers' locations are randomized. You need only bring six of the hookers; eight provides no bonus whatsoever. O----------------------------------O | Mission Name: Frighteners | | | | Rewards: $1,000 | | Avenging Angel outfit | O----------------------------------O It is preferred you bring a Baseball Bat and a Micro-SMG to this mission. After the cutscene, you'll need to scare some of the union big shots. There are three in all, and they each will drive around Portland somewhere. To start, grab the Leone Sentinel or some other car and start to one of them. Drive-by him until he leaves his car. Once he does, batter him with the Baseball Bat until he gets the message. Do the same with the other two. Just beware that one is armed with a Pistol. Once all three bosses are scared, the mission is completed. O------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Rollercoaster Ride | | | | Rewards: $1,000 | | Chauffer outfit | O------------------------------------O After the cutscene, drive on over to the HEAD Radion station in Harwood. You'll need to be fairly quick, because Hopper will leave in about two minutes. Once there, kill the limo driver to take his outfit. Then get in the limo. Once Hopper enters it, too, you'll have to scare her into doing what Salvatore wants. Generally speeding, running over people, smashing up the Stretch and other cars, and doing unique jumps may just do it. Once the Scare meter maxes out, Hopper will submit into doing whatever Sal wishes. Drive her to the Harwood ferry station picket line to finish the mission. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Maria Leone ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ O-------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Shop 'Til You Strop | | | | Rewards: $100 | O-------------------------------------O After the cutscene, grab a car and go to the shop down in Chinatown. As you might well expect, Maria shoplifts and flees the shop, giving YOU a wanted level (of one). Go to the Pay 'N' Spray or find a Police Bribe to continue. Once you've rid yourself of the wanted level, go to the second shop, also in Chinatown. Again, Maria shoplifts and flees. This time, though, the owner will try to blast you with a Shotgun. It usually won't take but three/four shots to explode a mint-condition vehicle, SO SPEED UP. Once you've left, you'll notice the 3-Star wanted level. Unless your car is completely crippled, I tend to prefer just heading back to Maria's rather than going to the Pay 'N' Spray then her place. Regardless, once you reach her place, you're done. O----------------------------------O | Mission Name: Taken For A Ride | | | | Rewards: $500 | O----------------------------------O You'll want to have some Micro-SMG ammo spare before this mission. After the cutscene, take Maria to her dealer in Chinatown. This just happens to be a Sindacco trap, apparent when she gets in what is obvious a Sindacco car. Chase the car down, ram and drive-by it until the Sindaccos get out. Once they do, drive-by them. Once the Sindacco's are dealt with, Maria will exit the car and get into yours. You'll also have a 1-Star wanted level. Instead of going to the Pay 'N' Spray, head on back to her apartment. O-----------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Booby Prize | | | | Rewards: More of Salvatore's missions | | Another street race unlocked | O-----------------------------------------O After the cutscene, it becomes apparent you are to race in a motorbike street race. The PCJ-600 is most preferable. One is at Salvatore's place in St. Marks. Once you've reached the start line, the race will begin. With the PCJ-600, you can easily blow past the other racers even before Callahan Point. However, the traffic will be your main problem. I find driving on the center line works best, with swerves to avoid other cars. The race is two laps and, like the last one, has checkpoints. Once you've won, you've won the mission. O----------------------------O | Mission Name: Biker Heat | | | | Rewards: $1,500 | O----------------------------O Come to this mission with some Micro-SMG ammo. After the cutscene, head on down to Chinatown and you'll Wayne and his gang. After the confrontation, Wayne flee and let you deal with his friends. Kill them and grab a bike. Once you've killed Wayne's friends, grab a bike and speed towards him. Keep on blasting him with Micro-SMG bullets until you kill him. (BTW, his bike is bulletproof, so your best hope is to ride alongside him and blast him, not behind.) O-------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Overdose of Trouble | | | | Rewards: Goodfella Outfit | O-------------------------------------O After the cutscene, grab a sturdy car (ie. Firetruck) and pick up Maria. Head on to Callahan Point. At the donut shop down there, it turns out Maria was incorrect about her stash. What's worse is that Wayne's former gang is hanging out here and they recognize you. Maria now thinks there is a stash of her stuff at Hepburn Heights. As you go there, Wayne's gang will follow. The problem with that is that there is an unlimited number of them - kill some, more come up. Your best bet is just to go straight to your destination and try to ignore them. Once you reach the Finalbuild Construction site, you realize that the trashcan the stash was supposedly in is now gone. Perhaps some is at her apartment? Head back. Guess what? Not there either. It seems she meant Salvatore's place. So, go on up to Salvatore's mansion, which was apparently the place. Getting her there will finish the mission ... ... and make you wish Toni would've shot her, not Claude. (GTA3 reference.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Salvatore Leone ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ O-------------------------------O | Mission Name: Contra-Banned | | | | Rewards: $1,000 | | More jobs from JD | O-------------------------------O Beforehand, grab some Shotgun or Micro-SMG ammo. You will need a four-door vehicle for this mission: the Leone Sentinel outside Salvatore's is preferable. Pick up your backup and go to Portland Docks. There, you'll meet up with the drugs supplier. As you start the deal, the cops will move in, giving you a 3-Star wanted level. Blast the supplier and get in their Patriot. Turn around and go to the garage and pick up the bribe. Then head onto the Pay 'N' Spray. After removing the wanted level, drive on into the lock-up to finish the mission. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ JD O'Toole ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ O---------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Salvatore's Salvation | | | | Rewards: $1,500 | O---------------------------------------O There are two ways to do this mission. This first requires a Sniper Rifle; the second requires nothing, but is harder, so bring some Micro SMG ammo. After the cutscene, you'll have to follow one of Salvatore's kidnappers. You'll be led to a building across from the Old School building in Chinatown. IF YOU HAVE A SNIPER RIFLE, after the cutscene, exit the vehicle and get to a point where you can see the kidnappers. Blast all three of them and drive Sal (he's in the car's trunk) back to his mansion. IF YOU LACK A SNIPER RIFLE, after the cutscene, speed away down to the car crusher down in Harwood - the kidnappers will later begin to take Salvatore there to kill him. Park in the tire-marked area and wait. Don't exit the car just yet. As the kidnappers arrive, exit the car and blast them with whatever you have. As you do, the car crusher will occupy itself with your car. If you can take care of the kidnappers fast enough for the crusher to not work on the other car, you'll be in good shape. Kill the kidnappers and drive Salvatore (he is in the trunk) back to his mansion to finish this. O-----------------------------------O | Mission Name: The Guns of Leone | | | | Rewards: $3,000 | O-----------------------------------O This mission, also, has two methods. The first is safer for you, but riskier, and requires no prep work. The second is riskier for you, but safer for the sake of the mission. For it, you'll want to pack your pockets with Micro-SMG and/or Shotgun ammo, and some Body Armor if at all possible. Once the cutscene is over, go atop the building across the street and collect the Sniper Rifle. (Yes, if you did some early exploring, you'll lose any Laser-Sighted Sniper Rifle ammo you have - the game forces this one upon you.) Get to the vantage point. Shortly, Salvatore will arrive. His health bar will appear - if it empties all of the way, he dies and you fail the mission. So, what to do? INTENDED METHOD - SNIPING: The developers intended you snipe the Sindaccos that come forth to attack Salvatore. It's pretty simple. The Sindaccos will come in several waves. The first group (3) is near the van. The second (2) is near the alley Sal passes by. The third (3) are at the intersection. Once they are done with, change positions so you can see the construction site. There will be one Sindacco down there. The fifth wave (3) is near Paulie's Revue Bar. The sixth wave consists of two Micro-SMG-armed cops. The mission is complete once the cops are dead. UNORTHODOX METHOD - GROUND FIGHT: The method I tend to prefer. Once Sal arrives in the area, drop to the ground. Switch to your Micro-SMG or Shotgun and start blasting the Sindaccos alongside Sal. The Sindaccos and the police are strictly focused on Salvatore and shouldn't shoot you unless you end up too close. The problem is that you probably WILL get too close and get hurt, which is why I suggested the body armor earlier. The waves are the same as above. O---------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Calm Before the Storm | | | | Rewards: $1,000 | O---------------------------------------O After the cutscene, you'll have about 90 seconds to head up to Salvatore's mansion. Upon arriving, you'll see a helicopter take off, with Massimo on board it. Follow it. Eventually, he'll land at the construction site in Hepburn Heights and speak with the Diablos before taking off once more. Follow him. Eventually, he'll land atop a building on the west side of Chinatown. Go up the nearby stairwell and listen in on the conversation. After the cutscene, you'll be discovered and shot at. You will need to kill all of the Triads. Five are on the roof, two of which wield Sniper Rifles. It is quite important to blast them before leaving the roof. Why would you? There are another five on the ground. Those can be handled from the roof if you still have some Sniper Rifle ammo. As for those you can't get at from the roof, go on down and blast them with the Micro-SMGs. Kill all of the Triads to finish the mission. O-------------------------------------O | Mission Name: The Made Man | | | | Rewards: $1,000 | | More jobs from Vincenzo | O-------------------------------------O Grab a bit of Micro-SMG ammo before this mission. After the cutscene, drive JD down to Harwood. As you drive through Hepburn Heights and the corner past the bridge, as if going to HEAD Radio, you'll be ambushed by some Sindacco hitmen. Exit the car and blast them with the gun(s) you have. Once you've dealt with the hitmen, continue to the Harwood junkyard - you know, where the car crusher is. That is where the "ceremony" will take place -- and, no, it isn't going to be that. After JD is "made", go to drop off Mickey. You will likely be seen by cops as you go, but a 2-Star wanted level isn't much to worry about. After you've dropped off Mickey, you'll need to dump the car in the water. If you came from Harwood directly, continue forward to the intersection, turn right and head west, continually building speed. As you begin to approach the grass, press Triangle and bail, and the momentum the car has should launch it into the water (and maybe a couple more people). Mission complete. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Vincenzo Cilli ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ O--------------------------------------------------O | Mission Name: The Portland Chainsaw Masquerade | | | | Rewards: $3,000 | | More jobs from Salvatore | | Slash TV side-missions | | Overalls outfit | O--------------------------------------------------O A Shotgun would be REALLY good here. If you've done some exploring around, the M4 and M60 are even better! After the cutscene, head on north a bit to the pier jutting from the Quays. Get on the big freighter and enter it. Continue along the corridor. If you look down some of the side-corridors, you'll find a .357 and some Body Armor. Once you get down into the hull, you'll enter Vinny's trap. You'll have to kill fifteen Chainsaw-armed goons. They will kill you pretty fast if you let them get a good slice in. ~~ If you brought the Shotgun, run away fast for a while, then turn around and blast one. Once he's dead, run some more and blast another. And so on. ~~ If you brought the M4, you'll be able to target most of the goons before they get on-screen. Eventually, though, you'll have to run away. As with the Shotgun, run a bit, stop, and blast some more. ~~ If you brought the M60, you've pretty much finished this mission. The M60 can make quick work of most anyone. In fact, if you are a quick targeter, you can kill them all before they get on-screen. 'Nuff said. After killing the goons, Vincenzo will come out wielding a Micro-SMG. After the cutscene, blast Vincenzo with your weapon. Once he's dead, mission complete. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Salvatore Leone ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ O-----------------------------------O | Mission Name: Sindacco Sabotage | | | | Rewards: $1,500 | O-----------------------------------O Obviously, bringing along the M4 and M60 will help, mainly because of their better range and power. Of course, the Shotgun and/or the Micro-SMG are satisfactory. After starting the mission, pick up the Mac-10 and Body Armor from the garage if you wish. Now, we gotta go down to Hepburn Heights and kill the Diablos and win the war before they do the same to the Leones. On the right side of the screen is a red bar and a blue bar, for the Diablos and the Leones. You want the red bar to be diminished to nothingness. So, down to Hepburn Heughts. There, go past the Pay 'N' Spray to enter the fight. The fight will be against most of the Diablos spawning in this general area. If you need some more health and armor, check the overhang and the base of the hill, respectively. The basic idea is to kill the Diablos. Not much else to say, I guess. Just do it quick - if the Leone's blue bar empties, Mission Fail. Finish off the Diablo gang to finish the mission. O-----------------------------------------O | Mission Name: The Trouble With Triads | | | | Rewards: $1,500 | O-----------------------------------------O The Shotgun/Micro-SMG are a must for this. Finishing the Firetruck missions for the fireproof-ness is also quite useful. After the cutscene, head down to Callahan Point and enter the Mafia Drug Factory's gates. There, you'll find some Triads sabotaging the gas tanks, which, of course, results in an explosion. After the cutscene, you'll need to collect all of the money from the fiery rubble of the factory before it burns, which is why I suggested fireproofing yourself. However, the Triads will get in the way, which is why I suggested bringing a weapon. After obtaining the money, find a vehicle and spin your tires over to Sal's mansion. Of course, the Triads will give chase. But they're a mere distraction if anything. Once you reach the mansion, you've finished the mission. O-----------------------------------O | Mission Name: Driving Mr. Leone | | | | Rewards: $4,000 | | Staunton Island opened | O-----------------------------------O After the initial cutscene, get into the Leone Sentinel nearby and drive down to the ferry terminal in Harwood. When you arrive, you run smack into the cops and a 3-Star wanted level. You'll need to get out - now! Angle left and go onto the short dirt road leading to the concrete embankment. Turn south and continue along the embankment until you get to the Callahan Bridge. Once you get to it, turn southeast and under the bridge. Go between the two ramps and get onto the westbound ramp once you return to the streets. Once on the (unfinished) bridge, speed up - you'll have to make a jump to get to the other side. No worries, it easy. On the other side, head to Newport and your safehouse to finish up this mission. ~~~ The walkthrough will now continue in the next section, Staunton Island. ~~~ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ++ ++ ++ Section II - Staunton Island **GTA42** ++ ++ ++ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Section Flowchart ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ --> [employer] ----> [mission] --> Salvatore Leone ----> "A Walk In The Park" ----> "Making Toni" --> Donald Love ----> "The Morgue Party Candidate" ----> "Steering the Vote" ----> "Cam-Pain" ----> "Friggin' The Riggin'" ----> "Love & Bullets" ----> "Counterfeit Count" --> Church Confessional ----> "L.C. After the cutscene, head down to the park to find Mayor R.C. Hole taking his daily run in the park. We are to make sure it's his last. Now, you cannot enter the park while armed or you will be shot. This is where the Sniper Rifle/Rocket Launcher comes in. Head to the southwest corner of the park while remaining outside. The mayor will at one point stop there to catch his breath. You can nail him easily from there. Another method with the Rocket Launcher basically makes you wait until the mayor is done with his run and is returning to his car. When he enters his car, blast it and the other two cars. Do some more blasting to get rid of any survivors. If you lack a Sniper Rifle/Rocket Launcher, simply grab a Shotgun or Micro-SMG, run into the park WITH YOUR WEAPON AS YOUR FIST, and begin to approach the mayor. When you get close enough, blast him. Regardless, once the mayor is dead, you will be set upon by the police and the mayor's bodyguards. QUICKLY grab the cell phone and speed over to your safe- house to complete the mission. O-----------------------------------O | Mission Name: Making Toni | | | | Rewards: $2,000 | | Jobs from Donald Love | | Ma's hitmen called off | | Antonio outfit | O-----------------------------------O After the initial cutscene, drive on over to the meeting place. There, you will become a made man - and not like JD was! Yeah, this mission is basically all cutscene. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Donald Love ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ O--------------------------------------------O | Mission Name: The Morgue Party Candidate | | | | Rewards: $1,000 | O--------------------------------------------O It is worth bringing a Micro-SMG to this mission. So then, after the initial cutscene, you'll need to go and jack the Hearse before it reaches it destination. To reach this goal, ram and drive-by it until the driver flees. Then take the vehicle. This will earn a 3-Star wanted level. You'll need to get rid of it, first. So head to the Pay 'N' Spray. After ridding yourself of the wanted level, go on to Love Media to finish the mission. O-----------------------------------O | Mission Name: Steering the Vote | | | | Rewards: $1,500 ~ $1,700 | O-----------------------------------O Before doing this mission, park a PCJ-600 in your Staunton Safehouse's garage. Also get some MP5 ammo. After the initial cutscene, get into the van. You will need to get to the marginal voting areas; those you've not yet gotten will appear on your map. There are nine total. Sail through it to earn their vote, at least for the moment, and hear some semi-comical messages. Here is my preferred method of going through the voting areas: ~~ Head west to the Liberty Memorial Coliseum. There, you'll find a voting area marker. Go through it and Toni will spread some slander of Donald's opponent, O'Donovan. There is no reason to slow down or stop - treat it like a racing checkpoint. ~~ Then go northeast to Liberty Campus. At this point, O'Donovan will send out two vans in the south part of Staunton. So, now you'll need to 5 of the 9 areas to win. Ignore the vans ... for now. ~~ After Liberty Campus, return to the front of the Memorial Coliseum and go east along the road and take the hairpin south turn. You'll find the Staunton Cafe and another checkpoint. ~~ Then go south to the Newport Ammu-Nation. ~~ Then go more south at the next intersection and take over the Belleville Mall. This should finish it. However, if the vans took over an area that you already had, go to Belleville Park and in front of City Hall, which should THEN do it. After collecting five voting areas, you are pretty much done. You can collect the rest to get an extra $200 ... just $200. So, now you need to destroy the other vans to finish. I recommend heading back to your Staunton safehouse and grabbing your PCJ-600. Speed to one of the vans and start drive-bying it. Be sure to do it from behind, and at a safe distance. Do the same with the other. Once the vans are gone, mission complete. O-----------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Cam-Pain | | | | Rewards: $1,500 | | More jobs from Salvatore | | Church Confessional missions | O-----------------------------------------O A Flamethrower is real useful for this mission. After the cutscene, head south to the billboards to fill up what is missing of your health. You'll have four minutes to kill three groups of O'Donovan's campaign workers. The first group is at the top of the AMCO HQ building. Kill the Micro-SMG-wielding security, first, then the workers. Pick up the body armor before leaving. The second group is across from the Belleville Park park. (Not a typo; there is a park in Belleville Park - Belleville includes more than the park itself.) Kill these workers similarly to the last ones. You'll probably have a wanted level by now, so head to the Pay 'N' Spray to get rid of it. The final group is at Liberty Campus. Kill them to finish the mission. O-----------------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Friggin' The Riggin' | | | | Rewards: $1,500 | | Shotguns at Phil Cassidy's | | M4's at Phil Cassidy's | | Flamethrowers at Phil Cassidy's | | Rocket Launchers at Phil Cassidy's | | Unlocked Phil Cassidy's :) | O-----------------------------------------------O You'll get a Flamethrower during the course of this mission, but bringing one from the Hidden Package sidequest will make things a lot easier. As will becoming fireproof by doing Firefighting missions. Anywho, after the cutscene, go over to Phil Cassidy's Fully Cocked Gun Shop. Donald has pre-paid a Flamethrower for you, so pick it up and drive over to Fort Staunton. When you arrive at the destination, destroy the two vans and kill the nearby Forellis using a weapon. It is preferred to not use the Flamethrower, but, if needed... Then go into the building. There are eight pallets of ballets that must be burnt. Torch 'em with the Flamethrower. As you do so, more Forellis will come on in. Torch 'em, too. Once you're done with the ballets, head over to the printing machines. You may run out of ammo at this point. If so, grab the Grenades from outside and use them; either the Flamethrower or the Grenades will work. Once everything is destroyed, you'll have to destroy the two vans parked outside, which will drive off with Forellis in them if you didn't destroy them beforehand. If you forgot to, chase and drive-by the vans. Once the vans are done with, exit Fort Staunton to finish. O--------------------------------O | Mission Name: Love & Bullets | | | | Rewards: $2,000 | O--------------------------------O A Rocket Launcher will be preferable to the Sniper Rifle in this mission. Once the mission starts, you'll need to take down the Forellis blasting the Stretch. You'll start with a Sniper Rifle - switch to the Rocket Launcher. Go so you blast the two in the alley - the red barrels beside one will provide some room for error. Look up and you'll find two more on the upper level near the previous two. There will be three more on the above bridge. BLAST 'EM ALL. Once the seven Forellis are dealt with, DO NOT ENTER THE STRETCH. Instead, begin looking south down the alley. Soon, a black Bobcat with a Forelli hitman will come speeding at you - blast him with a rocket. Once you've finished the Bobcat, get in the Stretch and return to Donald's building to finish the mission. O-----------------------------------O | Mission Name: Counterfeit Count | | | | Rewards: $2,500 | O-----------------------------------O I recommend bringing a Sniper Rifle to this mission. Regular or laser-sight will not matter. Also bring a rather fast CAR to this mission After the cutscene, find the ballot van. It should be around Belleville Park. Follow it and it will stop under the Shoreside Lift Bridge loop. There, an exchange will take place where someone enters the van. IMMEDIATELY exit your car and begin to target a place where you can shoot the worker before he can get to his car. When he exits, blast him, grab the package, and get in your car again. Follow the van again and repeat this two more times. You'll need to get three of the packages to complete the mission. You are only allowed to miss one of the exchanges. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Church Confessional ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ O-----------------------------------O | Mission Name: L.C. Confidential | | | | Rewards: $1,500 | O-----------------------------------O After the cutscene, head on over to the crime scene. The crime scene is atop the Newport Bridge. (To get there, go from your safehouse heading north, turn right to get on the road, and take the second right.) There, steal an FBI Car, which is among the rest of the cars. You'll then need to speed away fast, because of the 2-Star wanted level. Go on over to a Pay 'N' Spray. After losing the cops, go to the alleyway across from the Tw@ Internet Cafe, where the meeting place is at. The informant will soon run off. Run over him, get out, grab the report, and go over to the Liberty Tree Offices to finish. O------------------------------------------O | Mission Name: The Passion Of The Heist | | | | Rewards: $1,500 | O------------------------------------------O For this mission, I recommend heading over to Phil Cassidy's and grabbing some M4 ammunition, and at least one serving of Rocket Launcher ammo. After the cutscene, head to the Rockford ferry terminal. There, you'll find quite a few gang members, all of which carry AK-47s. There are about four on the helicopter nearby, also carrying AKs. When you arrive, immediately hit the copter with a rocket to knock it down. The gang members will then advance towards you. You can either use the Rocket Launcher or the M4 - either will work. After dealing with the gang, head to the parking lot and kill all survivors. Grab the briefcase and you'll be hit with a 3-Star wanted level. Ignore it if you can and just speed over to the Liberty Tree Offices to finish. O-------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Karmageddon | | | | Rewards: $1,500 | | Karmageddon side-mission | O-------------------------------------O You're going to love this... After the cutscene, head to the Aspatria fire station and steal the Firetruck. Then it's time to cause a bunch of mayhem. You'll have four minutes to cause as much chaos and destruction. Within these four minutes, you'll have to fill out the rating meter. In general, just run over people, bash cars, smash bikes, whatever fills your cup of tea, and you'll pass. After finishing, you'll need to get rid of the Firetruck. Speed out towards the water and bail. O-----------------------------O | Mission Name: False Idols | | | | Rewards: $1,500 | O-----------------------------O Grab some Rocket Launcher ammo before this mission. Three rockets are needed by minimum, but bring 10 ~ 15, just in case. Okay, so you are to kill three celebrities. You must do so before they get to LCFR. One, Black Lightman, will arrive by Stretch/limo. Another, DB-P, will arrive by boat and switch to a bulletproof Patriot. Finally, Faith W. will come by copter. ~~ So, for Lightman. Go to the southwestern corner of the multistory car park in Newport. Stop there. Lightman's Stretch will be heading southward to this intersection. Blast him when possible. ~~ Now, DB-P. He will be heading up the hill to this very same intersection in his Patriot. Again, blast and ask questions later. ~~ And now, Faith. Go south to the road leading to the Callahan Bridge and go due west. Go along the road until you reach the three-way intersection with the large Ranch/Bobo/"Heavy Weapons" billboards. There, get onto the island in the middle of the intersection and look east. She will eventually head in your direction and hover shortly above the park. What else must I say? After killing all three, return to the cathedral to finish the mission. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Salvatore Leone ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ O------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Caught In The Act | | | | Rewards: $2,000 | | Jobs from Leon McAffrey | O------------------------------------O In this mission, you are shooting at the Secret Service with infinite M4 ammo. The agents will appear on the rocks, docks, shoreline, and in boats. They all will try to shoot you. If you let them get by with too much, the boat will soon explode, resulting in a definite Wasted and Mission Fail. Of course, it'll be tough to hit them all. You don't have to hit them ALL, but try to get a good chunk of them. Hit those red radioactive (?) barrels to cause explosions and take out multiple agents. Near the end, you'll deal with a helicopter. Firstly take out the agents on it, and blast it until you can get the other two. Once the copter's down, you're finished. O-----------------------------------O | Mission Name: Search and Rescue | | | | Rewards: $2,000 | O-----------------------------------O Before the mission, buy some Sniper Rifle and some M4 ammo from Phil Cassidy's. After the cutscene, you'll need to go pick up Sal's bulletproof Stretch. It should be on the ground level of the multistory car park in Newport. Then head to Fort Staunton and park the Stretch at the plaza entrance. Exit. On foot, use the M4 to get rid of the people nearest you, and the Sniper Rifle to get rid of those outside the M4's reach. Go into the small alley and kill the last two gangsters with the M4 and go to Salvatore. After finding Sal, you'll need to get him out of there. However, more gangsters show up. Dispatch them with the M4 as you leave. When you get back to the Stretch, drive to the garage in Newport. Enter it to finish the mission. O----------------------------------O | Mission Name: Taking The Peace | | | | Rewards: $2,500 | O----------------------------------O After the cutscene, go to the van parked outside the hospital. Inside, you become aware that the Leones messed with Paulie Sindacco's car. It seems Paulie is going to meet with the Forellis to try and broker a truce. You are to take control of his van and ruin the meet in entirety. After switching to Paulie's van, you can take control of the car at any time by pressing X. However, do not do this until you are almost at the meet -- you'll know where it is when you find a bunch of cars and Forellis on a small side street. After taking control of the van, you'll have FIVE MINUTES until Paulie finds and disarms the controls system. There are about a dozen Forellis to deal with. You can only run over them. Be careful, but fast, with the driving - if the car takes too much damage, it is worthless. Start with those under the overhang. When you get through, make a turn and go all of the way around the block. The Forellis will, by now, have run out into the street, at least some. Take those out, then those in the meeting area, if any are left. O-------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Shoot The Messenger | | | | Rewards: $3,000 | | Wiseguy outfit | O-------------------------------------O A relatively simple mission, I guess. There are two ways to go by this mission. For the second, luck-based one, you'll need some Rocket Launcher ammo. For the first one, you'll need some kind of sub-machine gun, perhaps the MP5, and some good weather if possible. After the scene, head to the boat parked at Bedford Point and get in. When you do, the target's boat also appears on the map. You are to kill the informant inside. The first strategy simply requires you chase the target down and drive-by him until the boat explodes. The second strategy requires to enter, then exit the boat and hope the target will come within Rocket Launcher distance. See, luck? Either way, once the informant is dead, you'll have completed this mission. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Leon McAffrey ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ O------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Sayonara Sindaccos | | | | Rewards: $1,500 | O------------------------------------O After the rather tense cutscene, get into Leon's car and drive over to the Sindacco territory, which is marked on the radar. Leon will drop you off, leaving you to kill the Sindaccos on foot. In doing so, you'll fight with the M4, which is superior to the Sindaccos' AK-47s in range and power. You'll probably want to repeatedly hit the target button to get them when you can. Once you've killed them all, get back into Leon's car. You'll do another rail shooting thing, with the M4. During the rail shooter, you'll have to blast cars and motorcycles ridden by gun-wielding Sindaccos. In the case of motorcycles, try to blast the driver. As for cars, just blast it. Eventually, you'll find a helicopter, which could be the last part to deal with. Just blast it repeatedly. Once they're all gone, you've finished. O-------------------------------------O | Mission Name: The Whole 9 Yardies | | | | Rewards: $2,000 | O-------------------------------------O You might want some Body Armor, if you suck at fast motorcycle driving. You may want to bring some M4 ammo, too. Drive over to City Hall and steal one of the Sindacco motorcycles, but do so without killing any of Sindaccos. After grabbing a bike, ride straight to the kill zone north of Rockford Hospital. Obviously, the Sindaccos will chase you. However, if you remain fast, you'll be fine. Another good way to avoid them is take the left of the bridges to Rockford, rather than the right, and go against the traffic. However, in such a case, try to ride the center line. Once you reach the kill zone, join the Yardies and blast the Sindaccos. Once they're dead, the mission is complete. O----------------------------O | Mission Name: Crazy '69' | | | | Rewards: $2,000 | | Dragon outfit | O----------------------------O After the cutscene, you'll be given a Katana (and, for some reason, lose some health). You'll have to go to the park in Belleville and kill 20 Forellis in about 3.5 minutes. Grab the Sanchez nearby and ride to Belleville. In the park, just run at a Forelli and slice him. Usually, this is a one-hit kill. You shouldn't be too worried about getting hurt, as they only wield Meat Cleavers. More Forellis will come into the park as time goes on, so there'll be enough targets to finish. Once 20 Forellis are killed by a Katana, you are done. O-------------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Night of the Livid Dreads | | | | Rewards: $2,000 | O-------------------------------------------O The M4 and the Sniper Rifle are good weapons to have here. After the cutscene, you'll have to go to the ongoing battle. It is in Newport, behind the Ammu-Nation. Go there and kill the three Sindaccos. After the cutscene, you'll have to clear the way for the ambulance. Use the M4 to blast away the approaching Sindaccos. When you turn the corner, take down the Sindacco on your left and switch to the Sniper Rifle to take out the rest blocking your way. Another Sindacco will soon come on a Sanchez. Blast him with the M4 and go on down the alley. Once you reach the alcove on the left, blast the Sindaccos, if any, and grab the Body Armor. Once all of the Sindaccos are dead, meet the ambulance in the street to finish the mission. O---------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Munitions Dump | | | | Rewards: $2,500 | | More jobs from Donald Love | O---------------------------------------O For this mission, get at least 5 Rocket Launcher rounds, in case you mess up. For this mission, you are to destroy two trucks. Firstly, grab a car and head to the top of the multistory car park in Newport. Get on the slightly-higher ramp. A truck should come down this road. Blast it. For the other truck, get in your vehicle and jump off the ramp and get to the Callahan Bridge. Get on the edge so you are at a high vantage point, but don't put yourself in danger because of the rockets. The truck will come down through the road below. You'll get two chances at it, before and after it passes underneath the bridge. Destroy both trucks to finish. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Donald Love ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ O-------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Love on the Rocks | | | | Rewards: More jobs from Salvatore | | Shoreside Vale opens up | O-------------------------------------O Grab a fair deal of Rocket Launcher and Sniper Rifle ammo prior to starting. Some M4 ammo and Body Armor wouldn't hurt, either. After the cutscene, go to the overpass in Newport and enter the contact's car. The evidence linking Salvatore and Donald is in a car on the other side of the industrial park, as I call it, just to your south. It is being guarded. You'll therefore have to fight your way to it. Go forward to the driveway entrance of the nearby condos and stop. Snipe down the guy on the upper area to the right of the entrance of the park. Then use the Rocket Launcher to blow up the first line of cars in your way. Return to the Sniper Rifle and climb the ramp to the right of the entrance, then ledge along the right side of the "park", then onto the overhang. This gives you a great vantage point. There are two guys southeast of you near the container crates. Then angle to the right a bit and get the guy by the concrete ramps to the south of the other two. Go then to the southern portion of the overhang and stop again. Snipe the two guys on the far end and drop to ground level and continue forward and a car will stop in front and four AK-47-wielding gunmen will get out. Blast the car with the Rocket Launcher, or blast the gunmen with the M4 if they got away from the car. You should have a 2-Star wanted level by now; ignore it. Go to the blue trailers on the left and stop. Snipe the guy near the van. Go to the middle of the second trailer and stop about halfway to the yellow crate. Sniper another guy near the van. Then go right and shoot the feet of the guy behind the blue trailer. Go left around the bridge pillar to find the last guy standing the pillar. Blast him with the M4 and get into the van. Drive to entrance, but be slow. Near the entrance, a gunman in a Banshee will appear. Your van is unable to outrun it. Get out and shoot a rocket at him; use the M4 if you're out of them. After killing the Banshee gunman, go over to the Pay 'N' Spray to lose the cops and repair the car. You can now drive to Love Media unopposed. After a cutscene there, you'll be finished with Staunton's main missions. ~~~ The walkthrough will now continue in the next section, Shoreside Vale. ~~~ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ++ ++ ++ Section III - Shoreside Vale **GTA43** ++ ++ ++ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Section Flowchart ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ --> [employer] ----> [mission] --> Salvatore Leone ----> "Rough Justice" ----> "Dead Reckoning" ----> "Shogun Showdown" --> Toshiko Kasen ----> "More Deadly than the Male" ----> "Cash Clash" ----> "A Date With Death" ----> "Cash in Kazuki's Chips" --> Donald Love ----> "Panlantic Land Grab" ----> "Stop the Press" ----> "Morgue Party Resurrection" --> 8-Ball ----> "No Money, Mo' Problems" ----> "Bringing the House Down" --> Donald Love ----> "Love on the Run" --> Salvatore Leone ----> "The Shoreside Redemption" ----> "The Sicilian Gambit" ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Salvatore Leone ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ O-------------------------------O | Mission Name: Rough Justice | | | | Rewards: $2,500 | | Lawyer outfit | O-------------------------------O Bring an MP5 (for drive-bying) or the M4 (on foot) to this mission. When you arrive at the Police Station to try to do this mission, you'll be told to go to Mr. Benz's Clothes Shop to get some lawyer clothing. Go there and you will get the outfit permanently. (You'll want to be in this for Sal's prison missions.) Once you have the outfit, you'll need to return to the Station and speak with Salvatore. Get a solid vehicle (ie. Taxi) and pick up some backup, if you so wish. Go to The Projects and smash one of the Forellis' cars. When the Forellis emerge (a total of 12), drive-by and run over them (if you have an MP5) or get out and blast them fast with the M4. Once that dozen are dead, do the same to the other car and the other dozen Forellis. Once they're all dead, the mission is complete. O----------------------------------O | Mission Name: Dead Reckoning | | | | Rewards: $3,000 | | More jobs from Donald | O----------------------------------O You'll want to bring either a Laser-sighted Sniper Rifle or a Rocket Launcher to this mission. It is preferred you have whichever you bring with about 60 bullets. After the cutscene, go to the power house at the base of Cochrane Dam. You will be spotted and Paulie Sindacco will speed away. Go up the road and bit and try to nail Paulie from the shore. For that, I mean go up the road about half of the way between the intersection and the bridge. From there, try nailing Paulie with the Sniper Rifle (preferably Laser-sighted) or the Rocket Launcher. Either works fine - the Rifle fires faster and more accurately, but it'll take several rounds. The Rocket Launcher does it in a single hit, if it hits. Once Paulie is dead, you'll have finished this mission. O------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Shogun Showdown | | | | Rewards: $3,000 | | Jobs from Toshiko Kasen | O------------------------------------O There are two ways to do this. For one, you'll need the MP5; the second, you will need the Flamethrower and/or Molotov Cocktails and the M4. Get a Yakuza Stinger, firstly. They can be found around the Casino in Torrington on Staunton Island. Go to Aspatria and go to the Yakuza Compound. If you're driving a Yakuza Stinger, you'll be let in. What the ****!? They have a a Rhino!? The goal of this mission is to destroy it. There are two easy-enough ways of doing this. ~~ For this one, it is quite a good idea to bring along a MP5. When inside the compound, jack the Rhino and start driving. Any prior experience with these will lead you to know that they're slow. Thusly, the Yakuza will have a chance to throw you out and start shooting you. Keep an eye out and, when someone tries to jack you, drive-by out the driver's door. Exit the compound and turn left, towards the ferry terminal. On the way, rotate the cannon 180 degrees. As you reach the terminal, press Circle to shoot bullets behind and speed you up. Bail before the end to dump the Rhino in the water and complete the mission. ~~ For this strategy, it is REQUIRED you have a Flamethrower and/or Molotov Cocktails. The M4 is a very good idea, as is Body Armor. In the compound, exit the Yakuza Stinger. Begin blasting every Yakuza member with the M4 you probably still have. Once they're dead, begin flaming the Rhino. See, if you have experience with Rhinos, you'll know them to be virtually explosion and bulletproof. However, they're main weakness is fire and it can get rid of one much faster than anything I can think of - I fired about 15,000 bullets of a Minigun at it and then about 125 Rockets at it with no explosion. Regardless, once the Rhino is gone, the mission is finished. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Toshiko Kasen ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ O-------------------------------------------O | Mission Name: More Deadly Than The Male | | | | Rewards: $2,000 | | Minigun at Phil Cassidy's | O-------------------------------------------O The Sniper Rifle (either type) and the M4 are key to this mission. After the cutscene, drive down to Bedford Point, the location of the arms shipment. To get to it, you'll need to get past the guards. Snipe down the first few from a distance. As you go further in, switch to the M4. Use the Sniper Rifle to get rid of the surviving guards and the boats. After eliminating your land opposition, get into the marked boat and speed over to Toshiko's contact. As you do, a few Yakuza boats will chase you. They aren't much of a bother, although you can shoot a rocket at one if they get to be too much distraction. You'll be fine if you go full throttle. At Rockford - the contact's location - you'll meet Phil again, who'll take the shipment. This will finish the mission. O----------------------------O | Mission Name: Cash Clash | | | | Rewards: $3,000 | O----------------------------O Before starting this mission, make sure to have AT LEAST THREE rockets for the Rocket Launcher. Also bring a fast vehicle (ie. PCJ-600). After the cutscene, you'll have to destroy three Securicars. Begin by going to Phil Cassidy's gun shop. There, you should be able to spot the three targets sitting at the signal light. Back off a bit if needed and blast all three vans, one rocket each. If one gets away, chase it down and drive-by it. Destroy all of the vans to finish. O-----------------------------------O | Mission Name: A Date With Death | | | | Rewards: $2,000 | | Tuxedo outfit | O-----------------------------------O A powerful gun (eg. the M4, the MP5, or the Minigun) will help quite well here. After the cutscene, run and enter Toshiko's Stretch. You'll then have about 3 ~ 3.5 minutes until the opera starts. Go around and pick up Toshiko and head to the clothing store, marked on the radar, to get a Tuxedo. Next stop: Fort Staunton, where the opera is. The Forellis will see the two of you together, and they won't like that... After exiting the opera, five Forellis will attack you. Blast 'em with the weapon of your choice, just don't let Toshiko get hurt. After they're dead, get back in the Stretch. You'll then end up with a 2-Star wanted level, putting the cops, in addition to the Forellis, on you. Head to the Pay 'N' Spray to rid yourself of the cops. Drive back to Torrington and stop at Toshiko's to finish the mission. O----------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Cash in Kazuki's Chips | | | | Rewards: $4,000 | O----------------------------------------O Grab the M4 and a Sniper Rifle (any type) prior to starting. After the cutscene, go to Belleville Park, where Kazuki is. (This is also your Staunton safehouse in GTA3.) There, you'll be ambushed at the elevator. Grab the body armor and/or Micro-SMG nearby if needed. Get rid of the nearby Yakuza via the M4. After this, you'll watch Kazuki fly off in his copter. Head to the Big Shot Casino. (Kenji's casino where you got jobs in GTA3.) It is in Torrington, if you haven't played GTA3, just north of Toshiko's, I think. On the way, you'll be chased by some Yakuza Stingers. They'll be a small problem, if you're fast enough or driving a Rhino. At the Casino, you'll be "warmly" welcomed by quite a few Yakuza. Switch to the M4 if needed and start blasting, using the buttons to switch targets quickly upon death. Ignore the wanted level you for sure have by now. After this, head up the stairwya to your left-ish. Use the Sniper Rifle to clear out Yakuza ahead of you. Continue to the top, where you'll meet Kazuki. Okay, so here's the thing: he'll use a Katana. You can use your fists, a handgun (ie. Pistol), and an assault rifle (ie. M4). Everything else is taken from you. Luckily, there is a Body Armor nearby. Begin by using your M4 to get rid of Kazuki's two guards, then go for Kazuki himself. He seems to be wearing armor, but the M4 can tear right through it fast enough. Once you kill him, take Kazuki's katana and drive to Toshiko's apartment to prove to her that her husband is dead. After the cutscene, you'll finished with this mission (and all of Toshiko's missions, quite obviously!). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Donald Love ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ O-------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Panlantic Land Grab | | | | Rewards: $3,000 | O-------------------------------------O Before coming for this mission, bring along some MP5 ammo and a PCJ-600 or whatever motorcycle you prefer to use. After the cutscene, take Donald to Francis Internation. There, you will see Avery Carrington (Donald's mentor from GTA: Vice City) get into a Bobcat escorted by the Columbians. Your goal for this mission is get the plans Avery is carrying. Get back on your motorcycle and frontally drive-by the first Cartel Cruiser until it explodes. Avery will then make a run for it. Get behind his Bobcat and blast it until he bails. Kill him when he does. (Awww... I kinda liked working for him.) Pick up the plans he drops and return to Donald's ... residence to finish. O--------------------------------O | Mission Name: Stop the Press | | | | Rewards: $2,000 | O--------------------------------O Get a PCJ-600 with you for this mission. Also bring some MP5 ammo. After the cutscene, jump on the PCJ and head over to the Cathedral on Staunton Island - you know, where you did the Church Confessional mission. There, you'll confront the "priest", reporter Ned Burner. Target him with any gun to start filling up a scare meter. When it's full, head to his lock-up at the Liberty Tree Offices. Do so on the PCJ-600. In the parking lot, you'll want to park the PCJ in a certain way so as to make sure it won't disappear - this will greatly aid you. Go to the back end of the parking lot and aim the bike northward so it'll be in line with the yellow marker. Press and hold R2. In the background, you'll see the lines for the parking spaces. The first is where the dumpsters are. Now, move the PCJ-600 so it'll be BETWEEN THE LINES FOR THE THIRD PARKING SPACE FROM THE RIGHT - any closer and it'll disappear after the next cutscene. After parking the PCJ, get off the bike and into the marker. After that scene, Ned will escape on his Faggio. Of course, you were intended to use the nearby Faggio. But do you remember our PCJ-600. Yeah, get on that and chase him. As you chase him, you'll close the distance on him. Drive-by him as you do; do it on a straight, long road if you have low ammo. Once Ned's dead, you're done. O--------------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Morgue Party Resurrection | | | | Rewards: $2,000 | | A job from 8-Ball, more or less | O--------------------------------------------O It'll help to use the PCJ-600 from the previous mission or some other fast vehicle for this mission. After the cutscene, get in the fast vehicle. You'll have about 8.5 minutes to get two corpses and bring them to the Airport. One is at Wichita Garden (Avery Carrington's corpse) and another is at the Liberty Cathedral on Staunton (Ned Burner's corpse). Since Avery is closer, I'll describe it as if grabbing Avery's and then Ned's. The idea is simple - get to Wichita Gardens first. I believe the wooden ramp from GTA3 is still here - get off the lift bridge and take a dirt road on the right. Once you find the ambulance, get in front of it and jack it. Make sure Donald also gets in the vehicle ... and listen to weird stuff. Once you've grabbing the corpse, drive over to Francis International and drive to the marked hangar. Now, for Ned. Unfortunately, air vehicles -- not even the Dodo from GTA3 -- don't exist in this game. We could of used them here. Oh well... Anywho, exit the airport and get on the lift bridge. Once you get the sign saying you're in Staunton, wait for the left-curving loop. When you get to it, jump off it into the park, to save yourself some time. The Hearse with Ned's corpse is at the Cathedral, where you got jobs from him. Jack it to get a 2-Star wanted level. Ignore it and make a straight shot for the airport (on the roads -- don't go into the water). Once you've dropped off both corpses, you're done. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 8-Ball ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ O----------------------------------------O | Mission Name: No Money, Mo' Problems | | | | Rewards: None | O----------------------------------------O This is just basically a cutscene. You'll to give 8-Ball $20,000 to get the hardware needed for this job. (Better than the $100,000 in GTA3.) The stuff will be ready after finishing Toshiko's jobs. However, if you've already done them, wait a few minutes until 8-Ball calls. Now, the next mission. O-----------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Bringing the House Down | | | | Rewards: $5,000 | | Unlocked of a Hidden Package | O-----------------------------------------O The MP5 and the M4 will help out during this mission. Okay, the van you are driving is laden with explosives, very powerful ones. Don't let it get too banged up. If the damage meter to your right fills up, the van will explode (probably with you in it) and you will fail the mission and end up in some hospital. When you enter the van, go out into the street to your east and IMMEDIATELY back up towards the Pay 'N' Spray. A Forelli will show up and exit his car. When he does, blast him with the M4. After this, re-enter the van go into the street. Take a right and go up to Cochrane Dam. Another Forelli should show up. Again, blast him when he leaves his car. After killing the two Forellis - you're main potential problem later on - go back and use the Pay 'N' Spray the fix the van up. Go across the dam and to the Wichita Garden entrance to the Porter Tunnel. Follow the markers as you go to the old subway tunnel beneath Fort Staunton. When you get near the end of the first markers, you'll find two workers. You can easily drive-by them or just get out and blast. The marker to the right will be the marker you will stop in to put down some of the explosives and start the detonation timer. It'll help to back the van up into the marker, rather than driving directly into it. Once the first explosive is set, you'll have precisely three minutes to set down the other two AND leave the tunnels. Follow the markers to the next area to set explosives. After this, you'll be accosted by a tunnel worker. Blast him and proceed forward to the final explosive destination. Once you've planted the third set, take the Bobcat nearby - it'll be faster and isn't that damaged. When you get to the marker, you'll find two Forellis blocking your intended exit. Get out and hit them with the M4. Get to the next marker to escape the tunnels. This will destroy Fort Staunton, resulting in the construction site seen in GTA3, and finish this mission. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Donald Love ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ O-------------------------------------O | Mission Name: Love on the Run | | | | Rewards: $6,000 | | More jobs from Salvatore | O-------------------------------------O You'll want the Laser-sighted Sniper Rifle for this. You'll also want some Body Armor and perhaps the Minigun or M60 as back-up. After the cutscene, you'll REALLY want to run into the garage where Donald is hiding. From here, you can use the Sniper Rifle to blast Columbians as they appear. (You probably can use the Minigun or the M60; just substitute them for the Sniper Rifle in the strategy.) Now, why in the garage? Donald's there - he dies, you fail. Also, there is a bit of open ground between the entrance and the garage, making for easy aiming. Plus, being so near Donald means you can switch to the Minigun/M60 to stop a Columbian if they are too close for comfort. There are 23 Columbians - no more, no less - to kill. Once they're gone, take one of the Cartel Cruisers and speed over to the Pay 'N' Spray in Pike Creek to get rid of your wanted level you probably got. Then head over to the airport to finish Donald's series of missions ... and to open up the last two. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Salvatore Leone ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Get your Lawyer outfit... O------------------------------------------O | Mission Name: The Shoreside Redemption | | | | Rewards: $4,000 | O------------------------------------------O The MP5 gun isn't too bad an idea for this mission. After the cutscene, you'll need to grab a Police Car. Not an FBI Car, not a Rhino, but a regular ol' Police Car. Once you get it, drive to the marker. After the quick cutscene, you will become part of the escort taking Salvatore to his court arraignment. Thusly, you'll have to stop the Securicar from getting bashed up too much. In fact, as you cross the dam, you'll be ambushed and lose a Police Car (not yours). The Securicar will turn around and head in another direction. You'll have to try to take out the roadblocks ahead to reduce any possible damage. However, you cannot get too far ahead of the slow Securicar. Try taking out one roadblock, waiting on the Securicar, and going to the next one. You get too far ahead, you will fail. When you hit a roadblock, try to take out as many people as possible with a drive-by while the Securicar comes. Sometimes, another car will chase you, but you can usually sideswipe and flip it, or drive-by it to explosion. The final of the four roadblocks is just off the Lift Bridge. Once it's dealt with, you're home free. Now ... for the final story mission of GTA: Liberty City Stories. O=================================================O | Mission Name: The Sicilian Gambit | | | | Rewards: $500,000 | | The King outfit | | Completion of All Storyline Missions | O=================================================O There are two weapons you'll want a fair amount of ammo for to use in this mission. The Minigun, of course, is a must. You should also bring either Grenades or Molotovs. One of either will do the job, but bring several in case of a screw up. Also be sure to grab some Body Armor and fully fill it and your health. This can be a damaging mission. On a side note, some Rocket Launcher ammo may also help, although I don't specifically require it. After the cutscene, enter the Leone Sentinel and drive down to City Hall in Belleville Park. Salvatore believes the Sicilians will go for the Mayor, so you'll need to get to him first. As you head there, you'll be chased by a Sicilian vehicle. You can easily lose him on the Callahan Bridge jump. At City Hall, you'll find that you were too slow - the Sicilians already got the Mayor! Blast the four nearby Sicilians with the Minigun and go to the pier near the Condos. At the top of the stairs, take down the Sicilian on the pier via Minigun. You will then transfer to a boat. AFTER TRANSFERRING TO THE BOAT, YOU WILL AUTOMATICALLY GO TO THE PART WHERE YOU KILL THE LONE SICILIAN ON THE PIER WHEN RESTARTING THIS MISSION IF YOU GET WASTED AFTER GETTING ON THE BOAT. Yay. By now, you're going to have problems. This is another rail-shooter with a Minigun. However, the weather is always stormy by this point. Always. This will mess with your aim, so it might take a few tries. Until about halfway, you'll mainly deal with boats, which the Minigun can easily destroy. (Good thing - there's a ton of 'em.) Eventually, you'll come upon a helicopter. That is the only real variation to this part of the mission. Once it's gone, you're back to blasting boats. Eventually, you'll begin to approach the lighthouse just off of the coast of east Portland and Salvatore's mansion. As you approach, there will be two Sicilians on the pier - blast the boat nearby and that should do it. Once you land, you'll begin to fight on foot with Salvatore backing you up. You will want to be constantly locking-on - those Sicilians wield M4's and are hiding in the randomest of places. The only time you'll want to switch from the Minigun is with that one gunman behind the fence - throw a Grenade or Molotov at him. At the top, you'll find Massimo. He will get into his helicopter which you must shoot down. There is also a gunman on-board it wielding a M4. To get rid of the helicopter, you can either use the Minigun or the Rocket Launcher. Pretty simple. After the copter goes down, you'll have finally finished all of the main storyline missions. You'll get $500,000 and The King suit. CONGRATULATIONS! You've beaten the main storyline of Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories!! 5. Go into the alley across the street east from Paulie's Revue Bar and you'll find a Freeway. Get on it to trigger this. These missions have you ride on the back of a motorbike or something while you freely aim the gun with infinite ammo. You'll have a minimum number of targets and a limited number of time to destroy those targets. The targets get tougher as you go. You will fail the mission if the damage meter fills up, or if you shoot the driver, or if you fail to get all of the targets. For this one, you'll have a Mac-10 as a weapon, 3.5 minutes of time, and you must destory 11+ targets. ~~ At levels one and two, you'll find PCJ-600s. ~~ At levels three and four, you'll find Yardie Lobos. ~~ At levels five and six, you'll find Stingers. ~~ At levels seven, eight, and nine, you'll find Bobcats. ~~ At level ten and beyond, you'll find Patriots. Starting at level five, you'll also find gunmen in the vehicles, which is why the damage meter is there. You'll really want to shoot the gunners first, mainly because they can wield powerful guns - the Patriot gunmen have M4's! ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Backseat Shooter Mission #2 -- Scooter Shooter ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) For access to this mission, you'll need to go to Chinatown. Go to the L-shaped alley to find a Faggio. Get on to trigger this mission. For this one, you'll have a Tec-9 as a weapon, 3 minutes of time, and you must destory 9+ targets. ~~ At levels one and two, you'll find Mr. Whoopees. ~~ At levels three and four, you'll find Stingers. ~~ At levels five, six, and seven, you'll find Cartel Cruisers. ~~ At levels eight and beyond, you'll find Landstalkers. There, you'll find a Sanchez leaning against a tree. Get on to trigger this mission. Upon starting, you'll be on Course #1 and you must beat the target time to get the next course; there are ten in all. Each time you win, you'll get $100. You can redo a course as needed. Here are the courses and times. ~~ Course #1 -- 58 seconds ~~ Course #2 -- 1 minute, 15 seconds ~~ Course #3 -- 1 minute, 14 seconds ~~ Course #4 -- 1 minute, 13 seconds ~~ Course #5 -- 1 minute, 30 seconds ~~ Course #6 -- 1 minute, 32 seconds ~~ Course #7 -- 1 minute, 30 seconds ~~ Course #8 -- 1 minute, 51 seconds ~~ Course #9 -- 1 minute, 23 seconds ~~ Course #10 - 1 minute, 19 seconds Upon beating Course #10, you'll get $2,500 and the Manchez -- a more powerful Sanchez -- will appear where the Sanchez was. However, getting on it triggers the mission again. Push the bike away some and then get on if you want to use it outside of the side-mission. ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Car Salesman ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) To do this side-mission, you'll first need to do the "Dealing Revenge" mission for Vincenzo. After this, you can go to the Capital Autos automobile dealer in Harwood. There, you'll find a yellow marker. Step in it between 8:00 and 18:00 to start this side-mission. You'll have four cars in front of you. You must take a car and drive the customer around in a manner that suits their tastes. You'll know how you're doind by the meter on the right - as it fills, you're doing good. If it fills completely, the person will request you go back to Capital Autos to complete the sale. You'll fail if you wreck the car, run out of time, get Busted or Wasted, or kill a customer. After trying to go back, the customer may say the car got beat up, or he/she wants a different color. Go to Pay 'N' Spray for such matters. Once you return to Capital Autos, you'll get some money and more time. Then you'll go on to another customer. You'll begin with 2.5 minutes. Completing a sale nets you 110 seconds - almost two minutes. When all four customers are satisfied, the level is finished. There are six* levels. If you fail on one, you restart from the last played level. (* = Six levels completed gets you the required amount for 100% completion, but there is an infinite (?) number of levels.) So, each car tends to have the certain customer. ~~ The first car on the left tends to like running over people. You can smash up the car without going to the Pay 'N' Spray until you get a 2-Star or higher wanted level. You can drive-by people or run them over or generally cause chaos. ~~ The second car likes fast driving. Go to the concrete embankment near the car crusher. You'll need to go to the Pay 'N' Spray if you get damage. ~~ The third car likes slow driving. Go to the concrete embankment near the car crusher. You'll need to go to the Pay 'N' Spray if you take damage. ~~ The fourth car likes off-roading. The hills east of the car crusher or generally going fast works fine. You don't need to go to the Pay 'N' Spray for damage or something, usually. At level four, the car in the showroom will become a Hellenbach GT. At level six, you'll get a money-generating icon with a maximum of $4,000. There is no need to go past level six, but you can. ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Low Rider Rumble ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) This is only available after finishing "Grease Sucho" from Ma Cipriani. This illegal street race can be starting by answering the phone near the sausage factory in Trenton. For this one, you'll want a rather sturdy car. The Taxi, Bickle'76, and the Leone Sentinel are preferable. This is a checkpoint race around Portland Island. It is two laps and rather easy, because of the length and the fact that the other drivers are horrible. You'll get $1,500 for winning. ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Punk Noodles ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) To activate this side-mission, go to the plaza of Chinatown. Next to the restaurant will be a motorbike known as the Noodleboy. This will start the "Punk Noodles" mission. It is just like the Pizza Delivery missions in GTA: Vice City. There are ten levels to this. In each level, you'll have precisely five minutes to deliver the food and return to get more orders. In level one, you'll have one customer; two in level two; etc. Regardless, you'll have five minutes. Additionally, you can only have six noodles at once. To deliver said noodles, find a person on the streets that order it and you'll "drive-by" it to them (side-only). Through level six, you can simply do all of the customers in a single trips. However, at level seven, you'll need to strategize. Why? You can only have six sets of noodles at once. You'll need to return to the restaurant for more, but you can get more if you're out. Consider the below diagrams and the strategies. X's mean targets, R is the restaurant. X R X X X Get the six on the east, reload, get the west one. You'll trigger it by pressing R3. Like with the above mission, you'll fight some psychos wielding Chainsaws. With each level, you'll fight more and more people. There are five levels in all. Finish Slash TV twice to get the Cox Mascot outfit and the step further to 100% completion. However, only Level One-completion is needed for the 100% completion rewards. There are some things to note about RC races. ~~ The cars are very sensitive, kinda like the Quadbikes in San Andreas. ~~ They like to stick to walls if you hit them. ~~ They'll almost always spin or flip over upon hitting something. ~~ Beware of regular cars. For beating level one, you'll get $1,000. On level two, you'll get $1,500. On level three, you'll get $2,000. Get on it to trigger this mission. This is a checkpoint-based race on the elevated El-Train track. You'll need to make a full lap on the divider. Each checkpoint gives you ten additional seconds. Beware of the three other riders at the start who'll try to knock you off. The general idea is to go fast, but slow enough to have a lot of control. Go slow around curves. Winning nets you $1,500. +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ++ ++ ++ Section II - Staunton Island **GTA52** ++ ++ ++ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Section Flowchart ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) --> [mission title] --> "Bike Salesman" --> "Deimos Dash" --> "Go Go Faggio" --> "Joe's Pizza" --> "Karmageddon" --> "Love Media's Car-azy Car Give-away" --> "Raging RC" --> "Torrington TT" ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Bike Salesman ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) In Aspatria, you'll find a motorbike shop called "Hogs & Cogs". Step in the yellow marker there between the hours of 8:00 and 18:00 to start this mission. It'll greatly help to bring some ammo for your drive-by weapon. You'll have four bikes in front of you. You must take a bike and drive the customer around in a manner that suits their tastes. You'll know how you're doing by the meter on the right - as it fills, you're doing good. If it fills completely, the person will request you go back to Hogs & Cogs to complete the sale. You'll fail if you wreck the bike, run out of time, get Busted or Wasted, or kill a customer. As you do, if you get a 2-Star or higher wanted level, you'll need to go to the Pay 'N' Spray. This is the only reason to go there in this mission, though. You'll begin with 2.5 minutes. Completing a sale nets you 110 seconds - almost two minutes. There will be four different bikes in front of you. You must sell ten of each bike variety for the 100% completion progress and so on. So, each bike tends to have the certain customer. ~~ The first car on the left tends to like causing chaos in general. Go to some parking lot (eg. the Fire Station, the Coliseum, the hospital) and shoot at the car there until you blow it up, and then shoot the remains until the meter is filled. ~~ The second car likes fast driving. Go along that loop around the Coliseum, but be wary of traffic. ~~ The third car likes slow driving. Go along the loop around the Coliseum, but off the road. ~~ The fourth car likes off-roading. Go to the pier near where you get jobs for Leon McAffery and jump off of the ramp thing repeatedly. Once you've sold forty bikes, you'll get a money-making icon that'll generate a maximum of $3,000. You'll also find an Angel bike in the showroom. ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Deimos Dash ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Go near the Liberty Memorial Coliseum. On the east side of the parking lot, you'll find a payphone with a yellow marker. Go into it to trigger the Deimos Dash illegal street race. This one requires a car. The Banshee, Stinger, Yakuza Stinger, and the V8 Ghost are all good cars for this. This is a single-lap checkpoint-based race around the northern portion of Staunton. It is rather turn-filled - if you have trouble with them, use the V8 Ghost: it is great with turns. Once you hit the straightaway from the hospital to the final checkpoint, just floor it. Winning earns you $1,500. ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Go Go Faggio ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Find the condos near the shore in Newport and go to the entrance of the industrial park. There, you'll find a Faggio. Get onto it and you'll trigger this mission. For this, you'll have to collect all twenty-five checkpoints inside the industrial park and less than two minutes. Here's a fairly decent way to do it: ~~ Upon starting, head southeast a bit to get a checkpoint. ~~ Then look north and get on the ramp and atop the crates. Collect the two checkpoints here. Go across the narrow planks to get from one to another. ~~ Then go to ground level and west. Get on the north-going loading ramp. One checkpoint is at the start of it. ~~ Then continue further up the next two for another checkpoint. ~~ Then get on the ledge to the left and onto the overhang for another. ~~ Then get onto the next ledge and carefully go forward for another. ~~ Then go to the end of the ledge and onto the container crate for another. ~~ Then return to the ground and go south. There are an easy 13 checkpoints around/between the trailers underneath the Callahan Bridge. ~~ Go north for the last four checkpoints. The successful completion of this mission gives out $1,000. ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Joe's Pizza ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) To activate this side-mission, go to Phil Cassidy's gun shop in Bedford Point. Across the street is Joe's Pizza. Get on the Pizzaboy moped there to activate the mission. There are ten levels to this. In each level, you'll have precisely six minutes to deliver the food and return to get more orders. In level one, you'll have one customer; two in level two; etc. Regardless, you'll have six minutes. Additionally, you can only have six pizzas at once. To deliver said pizzas, find a person on the streets that order it and you'll "drive-by" it to them (side-only). Through level six, you can simply do all of the customers in a single trip. However, at level seven, you'll need to strategize. Why? You can only have six pizzas at any given time. You'll need to return to the restaurant for more, but you can get more if you're out. Consider the below diagrams and the strategies. X's mean targets, R is the restaurant. X R X X X Get the six on the east, reload, get the west one. X X X X X R X X X Get the two western ones, reload, get the rest. X X X X X X R X X X X Get those on the west, reload, get the rest. X X X For completing level ten, your maximum health (red bar) goes up 25 points. You'll also generate a money icon at the restaurant that can give you up to $2,500. Be sure to grab it regularly. ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Karmageddon ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) After finishing the main-story mission "Karmageddon", you can go to the fire station in Aspatria and enter a Firetruck to trigger this mission. As before, you'll have four minutes to fill up a rating meter. To do so, you will need to cause general chaos, mayhem, and destruction. How? Well, running over people, smashing at high speeds into cars (especially the sides), hitting people off of their bikes, sideswipe-flipping cars, and the list goes on. However, unlike the main-story version, you won't have to get rid of the Firetruck. For winning, you'll get some cash (depends on time taken), progress towards the 100% completion, and a Molotov icon behind the Fire Station. ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Love Media's "Car-azy Car Give-away" ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Firstly, find the Love Media building and go to the northwest corner - you'll find an info icon near the garage door. It seems Love Media needs prizes (ie. vehicles) to give in their various give-aways. You, for this side mission, are to find the sixteen cars on the list and bring them to this garage. You'll get money for each one. Some will spawn parked in certain locations (I named the easiest of these) and some will simply be driven in the street. Now ... the list. ~~ Banshee. Found behind the casino on Staunton Island. Gives $4,000 on delivery. ~~ BF Injection. Found at the southern end of Portland's eastern beach. Gives $3,000. ~~ Deimos SP. Found after the Deimos Dash race or in front of one of the homes in Cedar Grove on Shoreside. Gives $5,000. ~~ Faggio. Often found by the northwestern corner of Liberty Campus's courtyard on Staunton. Gives $500. ~~ Freeway. Often in the parking lot near the Liberty Memorial Coliseum on Staunton. Gives $2,000. ~~ Hearse. Often found in the back area of Carson General Hospital on Staunton Island. Gives $500. ~~ Hellenbach GT. Complete Level Four of the Car Salesman missions on Portland and check the showroom. Alternately, look around the homes in Cedar Grove. Gives $3,000. ~~ Infernus. Rather random, it seems. Try checking the parking lots near the Coliseum and Carson Hospital on Staunton -- they often spawned there in GTA3. Gives $5,000. ~~ Landstalker. Found in the parking lot at the Rockford ferry terminal on Staunton. Gives $3,000. ~~ Manana (really?). Usually in front of Liberty Cathedral on Staunton. Gives $1,000. ~~ Patriot. Found in the alley south of the Ammu-Nation in Newport on Staunton. Gives $4,000. ~~ PCJ-600. Found almost always in front of Salvatore's mansion on Portland. Gives $3,000. ~~ Phobos VT. Often found in the small parking lot northwest of your Shoreside Vale safehouse. Gives $5,000. ~~ Sentinel (regular). Often behind the casino on Staunton or in the parking lot at Francis International on Shoreside. Gives $4,000. ~~ Thunder-Rodd. Only known spawn is in the Old School parking lot on Portland in Chinatown, after "Grease Sucho". Gives $4,000. ~~ V8 Ghost. At Hope Medical College on Shoreside. Gives $5,000. After finishing the list, you get the money already earned, and a PCJ-600 and a V8 Ghost will spawn in the open garages near your Staunton safehouse. ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Ragin' RC ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) To access this misison, go near the maintenace building in the park in Belleville and you should find a Toyz Van. This will trigger an RC race. There are three levels to this race. You will do one lap on level one, two on level two, and three on level three. Be wary of the bumpy track and other cars for this reason. ~~ Beware of the lake and pedestrians. For beating level one, you'll get $1,000. On level two, you'll get $1,500. On level three, you'll get $2,000. You'll also get $500 extra for beating the best time on the levels. ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Torrington TT ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Go to the Love Media building and you'll find a payphone with a yellow marker. Entering the marker triggers this street race. For this one, it is obvious you'll need the PCJ-600, mainly because the other three racers use them. (I forgot if it was forced upon you, though.) This is a two-lap checkpoint-based race around Bedford Point and Torrington. This race will mainly come down to turns and traffic. The other racers have the potential to mess up on turns. There will be an Angel there. Climb on it to trigger this mission. For this one, you'll have a M60 as a weapon, 3 minutes of time, and you must destory 11+ targets. ~~ At levels one and two, you'll find Securicars. ~~ At levels three and four, you'll find Bobcats. ~~ At levels five and six, you'll find Landstalkers. ~~ At levels seven, eight, and nine, you'll find Patriots. ~~ At level ten and beyond, you'll find Barracks OLs. Starting at level three, you'll also find gunmen in the vehicles, which is why the damage meter is there. You'll really want to shoot the gunners first, mainly because they can wield powerful guns - I think they all have M4's here! Plus, there is only one gunmen in levels 3 through 6. In levels 7 through 9, there are two gunmen. After that, there are three. ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Chasin' RC ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Southeast of the eastern entrance to Francis Internation, you'll find a pair of small hangars, one with a M60 icon atop it. In this eastern hangar should be a Toyz Van, which'll trigger this mission -- an RC race -- upon entering it. There are three levels to this race. You will do one lap on level one, two on level two, and three on level three. Be wary of the opposing cars, as they will purposely try to hit you. ~~ On the ramp jumps, slow down some prior to it so you'll have a solid landing. For beating level one, you'll get $1,000. On level two, you'll get $1,500. On level three, you'll get $2,000. You'll also get $500 extra for beating the best time on the levels. ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Gangsta GP ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Around the eastern side of Liberty Pharmaceuticals, you'll find a payphone with a yellow marker. Go into it to trigger this street race. This is a three-lap checkpoint-based race around and in Pike Creek. As with "Torrington TT", you'll be up against PCJ-600s. Use one yourself. Drive around the center lines and try to be at your best in turning - that what it'll mainly boil down to. Winning nets you $1,500. ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) See The Sight Before Your Flight ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Near the subway entrance at Francis International, you'll find a kiosk and a yellow marker. Go into it to trigger this side-mission. The goal of this mission is to escort people to Liberty City's landmarks and take souvenir photos of them, then bring them back to the airport before their flight leaves. You'll make bonus money depending on the photos' quality - the better they are, the richer you get, up to $500. You'll have three chances to get a good shot. During the time you take the photo, beware of muggers (for this, I recommend having an M4 with you). You'll know you're being mugged during the photo-taking if the screen shakes and there's a loud clunking noise. Exit the photo-taking view and kill the mugger. Proceed to take the picture. You'll have 12 missions, and they are cumulative, like the Taxi missions. They are pretty easy I guess and good for familiarizing yourself with the Liberty City layout. The Taxi at the bottom of the stairs is a vehicle you'll want to use. Or perhaps a V8 Ghost if you brough it with you. Also be careful during the third mission, because it's in Chinatown, which is filled with hostile-towards-you Triads. It is worth noting some errors: the Liberty City Museum actually is City Hall. City Hall is actually the Courthouse. Now, onto your sights... Sight #1 -- Time : 3 minutes, 20 seconds. Location : Cochrane Dam (Shoreside Vale). Entering this will trigger the race. For this, you'll want as a car as possible. Cheetahs are good, as are any faster cars (if any) you can find. You'll be against three Cheetahs. This race is a two-lap checkpoint-based race around Cedar Grove and Cochrane Dam. The Cheetah has horrible durability, so hang back some until the tunnel - you know, so you won't be beaten up. In the tunnel, floor it and you should get in front. Once you do, just begin to take it easy around the turns. You can go to any hospital in the game (Portland View, Rockford, or Pike Creek) to usually find an Ambulance. If there isn't one that isn't locked, you can just kill some people and one should eventually arrive. Inside the Ambulance, press R3 to begin. The goal of this mission is to pick up some injured people and bring them to the hospital of the island you're on (kind of like a reverse "Punk Noodles" or "Joe's Pizza"). The Ambulance missions have twelve levels. At level one, you'll have one person to pick up; at level two, two people; and so on. You may remember GTA3 - this mission was hell. The car could roll easily (often onto someone), you had less time, and no in-game map. However, in LCS, this is easier, because of the map and a sturdier car. When should you do this? Well, I recommend Staunton, because it's flatter and, later on, gangs should shoot at you as much. Some stuff to note: ~~ You can only carry three people at once. Thusly, you'll want to strategize your trips starting at level four. Try to get all of one side done, like I showed with "Punk Noodles"/"Joey's Pizza". Also, use your map to make a plan. And finally, whenever your planned route takes you beside the hospital, just make a drop-off. ~~ To shave off some time, knock off the passenger and back doors. Also, when the person begins to enter the Ambulance, you can go. ~~ If you use the siren, cars will pull over, helping prevent damage. When you finish level twelve, you'll be allowed to run indefinitely and never tire yourself out. ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Firetruck / Firefighting Mission ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) For this mission, you'll need a Firetruck. They often can be found in Harwood, Belleville Park, and Francis International at the fire stations. If they are not, you can cause some fires and one may arrive. When you get a Firetruck, get into it and press R3. The goal of this mission is to put out fires. There are twelve levels. At level one, you'll have a simple car fire. At level two, you'll have a car fire, and then you'll need to extinguish the driver. This will continue like this. At level five, you'll have a second car; at level nine, a third car. To put out fires, shoot water from the water hose using Circle. Use the right analog stick to move the water stream around. For finishing level twelve, you will become fireproof (cannot be hurt by Flamethrowers or Molotovs, but still can be damaged by explosions). ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Vigilante / Police Mission ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) For this mission, you'll need one of these cars: ~~ Police Car (found almost everywhere) ~~ Police Enforcer (used by SWAT teams; 4-Star wanted level) ~~ FBI Car (used by FBI; 5-Star wanted level) ~~ Rhino (used by army; 6-Star wanted level) ~~ Hunter (if you use a PSP and EdisonCarter's cheat device, I think. I don't know if it WILL work, as I lack a PSP.) If you're not using a Rhino, it is a very good idea to accumulate some ammo of you're drive-by weapon. Also try to know where Police Bribes are located, as these vehicles cannot enter a Pay 'N' Spray. The goal of this mission is to kill the criminals marked on the radar. There will be criminals as proceed. To get them out of the car, you'll need to bash up the car and/or drive-by it, then kill them (you can exit). You'll start with five minutes, and earn extra time upon finishing a level. It's a pretty simple concept. For winning, your maximum armor will become 150 points. You'll also get the money earned, of course, and some progress towards 100% completion. ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Taxi Mission ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) For this mission, you'll need either a Taxi or a Cabbie, both found all over the place in Liberty City. Enter one and press R3 to start. For this, you bring people to their destinations. You'll first find a fare, park beside them, and drive them to where they want to be. Once you drop them off, you'll be given money, and bonus money for being fast about it. That is the general idea. This mission is good for familiarizing yourself with an island. It'll also get you money, more of it the longer you stick it out. If your Taxi/Cabbie gets too banged up, take it over to a Pay 'N' Spray. It will be best to do this on Staunton, if you're worried about terrain, or Portland, if you're worried about time. I don't really think Shoreside is a good idea, period. If you complete 100 fares (they don't have to all be in one sitting), you'll unlock a Bickle'76 Taxi at Mean Street Taxis and get closer to 100% completion. ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Trash Dash ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) This mission is completely new to GTA. To get this mission started, find a Trashmaster, often found near the car crusher in Harwood. Get in it and press R3 to start. You'll have to collect a dozen dumpsters and bring them to the Harwood junkyard. Your timer begins upon finding the first one. You'll have 30 or 40 seconds at the start, and gain 30 or 40 more for each dumpster. The 30 applies to Portland and Staunton; the 40 for Shoreside. Now, you have to do this once completely on each island for 100% completion credit, some percentage added per island. ============================== Portland Island =============================== Here is the route I recommend ... ~~ Behind donut shop in Callahan Point. ~~ L-shaped alley in Chinatown. ~~ Behind Joey's Car Garage in Trenton. ~~ Southwestern side of Portland Harbor. ~~ Northern side of Portland Harbor. ~~ In front of the Fidl Store. ~~ Behind the police station in Portland View. ~~ In the alley across the street from the Portland View hospital. ~~ In a side alley in the center of St. Mark's. ~~ Another alley southwest of the above. ~~ Between two large building near the Fish Market. ~~ A small alley in the Red Light District. Deliver them to the junkyard. After getting the last one, you'll have about two minutes to return. Once they're delivered, you'll get $2,000. ============================== Staunton Island =============================== Here, you'll find a Trashmaster in the parking lot east of the Rockford hospital. That'll be the start point. Now, here's a good route ... ~~ Directly behind you. ~~ Southwest of the first one. ~~ South of the safehouse. ~~ In the corner of the alley near Hogs & Cogs. ~~ In the short alley just east of Belleville Park. ~~ In the alley south of the Ammu-Nation in Newport. ~~ Next to the Liberty Cathedral in Bedford Point. ~~ In the short alley west of the Liberty Tree Offices. ~~ Next to the big white building north of Love Media. ~~ At the Big Shot Casino located in Torrinton. ~~ In the lower alley located north of Newport's police station. ~~ East of the Tw@ Internet Cafe. After getting the last dumpster, you'll have four more minutes to get to the Harwood junkyard. Get there in time and you'll earn $3,000. =============================== Shoreside Vale =============================== This mission is the same as before, except you get an extra 40 second per dumpster. A Trashmaster is easily found in the western part of the Francis International parking lot. Here's the route I recommend ... ~~ South side of the southeastern building of the Projects. ~~ North side of the southeastern building of the Projects. ~~ There are TWO at the garage of the Complex. ~~ Near the west hairpin turn in Cedar Grove, in the parking lot. ~~ At Boners Pet foods. ~~ At the police station in Pike Creek. ~~ At Hope Medical College in Pike Creek, on the south side. ~~ West of the above, at Scopers Haulage. ~~ At the Klunt Building. ~~ By the fire station at Francis International. ~~ At the southern end of the western airport entrance. After this, you'll have eight minutes to go back to Harwood and deliver the dumpsters. Since you're so near the Porter Tunnel ... Once they're delivered, you'll get $4,000. ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) Avenging Angels ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))) For this, you'll need the Avenging Angel outfit, awarded after completing "Frighteners" for Salvatore Leone. Before starting, get a lot of drive-by and M4 ammo, if you're that late in the game, and a sturdy vehicle (ie. Taxi). You'll have to then find an Avenging Angel person. On Portland, they are in Chinatown; on Staunton, in Belleville Park; on Shoreside, in Wichita Gardens. The same rules apply to all three islands, but you must finish it once on each island to get 100% completion. When you find another Avenging Angel, press R3 to start. Let your partner get in your car and you'll deal with troublesome gangs. You'll have 2.5 minutes to start, and gain more as you progress. There are three main scenarios: ~~ A motorcycle gang. Deal with them via drive-by. ~~ A gang meeting. Deal with them on-foot if you have a Minigun/M4. ~~ A stolen car. Drive-by the car, then, when they exit, drive-by the gang members or deal with them on foor. The groups you deal with get larger as you progress through the levels. To finish, you'll need to finish level fifteen ON EACH ISLAND. ~~ On Portland, you'll get $1,500 and a bulletproof Avenger will spawn only once at your Portland safehouse. ~~ On Staunton, you'll get $1,500 and you won't lose any money when you get Busted. (Kinda pointless...) ~~ On Shoreside, you'll get $1,500 and you get The Hero Garb outfit. 6.
