Note: My version history goes up by 0.1 every time I update it. For example,
if the version history is 1.9, and I add a tip for the car salesman, it will
then be upgraded to 2.0. Also, you can always find the latest version of my

4. Introduction (ITR6)
------------------------

Welcome to my FAQ on the Car and Bike Salesman in GTA Liberty City Stories.
This guide will tell you how to complete the car and bike salesman and also
some tips for completing them. However, this guide may contain some spoilers
from the game. I hope you will find this guide useful.

-------------------------
5. Car Salesman (CAR7)
-------------------------

To begin the Car Salesman mission, you first need to complete Vincenzo Cilli's
mission "Dealing Revenge". The objective of this mission is to sell a number
of cars in an allocated time. After the 4 cars parked in the lot are sold,
the level is complete and the next one begins. To complete the car salesman you
need to complete level 6. After a car is sold you get your commission (money
for the car you sold) and a time bonus (usually 110 seconds). Once you
complete level 6 the car showroom pays you "protection money" that will rise
to $4000 if you leave it long enough. Also after a certain level is completed
a new car spawns in the showroom. After level 2 is completed the Kuruma
inside the showroom is replaced by a Sentinel. After level 4 is completed the
Sentinel is replaced with a Hellenbach GT. There are 4 main types of car for
you to sell, which is Performance, Off-Road, Family and Muscle. For each
type of car the buyer will be looking for something different, see lower down
for details.

Tips
-----

1. Use the grassy area next to the Dolls House (the building you blow up in
the mission "Blow Up Dolls"). It saves a lot of time when going to the Pay
'n' Spray.

2. Sell the vehicles in this order: Off-Road, Sports, Family, Muscle. It is
a lot easier and could make time for the tougher missions later.

3. Only go to the Pay 'n' Spray if necessary (the mission tells you if you
need to go to the Pay 'n' Spray). Not only does it waste time but it also
costs money.

Off-Road
--------

I drove up and down the grassy area next to the gates of 8-Balls Auto Yard and
the scrapyard. Just be careful not to overdo it and either fall into the water
or overturn.

Sports
------

I floored it up and down the eastern-most curved road in Saint Marks (the road
that goes past Salvatore's Mansion). Try not to crash into any cars-it could
cost valuable time and money.

Family
------

I drove around the square road going around the gas station near the showroom
slowly. By the time I went around the square road the sale meter was full.

Muscle
------

I drove aimlessly along the sidewalks, hitting every person I could. If you
get a wanted level and then lose it, a huge bonus is added to the sale meter.
Doing drive-bys also works here.

-------------------------
6. Bike Salesman (BIK1)
-------------------------

The bike salesman is available from when you reach Staunton Island and is
generally very easy. There is 4 type of bike: Performance, Moped, Hog and
Dirtbike. To complete the bike salesman, you need to sell 10 of each type of
bike. After 10 of each bike is completed the showroom starts to pay you
"protection money" which rises to a maximum of $4000. An Angel is
spawned in the showroom, but that is the only bike that is spawned in the
showroom - no other bike will be unlocked by completing the mission. Also,
there is no need to go to the Pay 'n' Spray, unless you have a wanted level
higher than 1.

Tips
----

1. Stick to the middle of the road when riding down it. You are then less
likely to hit any traffic.

2. Sell the bikes in this order: Performance, Moped, Dirtbike and Hog. I
found it much easier doing it that way and also can make time for later on in
the mission.

3. Sell all 10 bikes of a category at the one time. I found that this makes
it easier and also makes time for later in the missions

Performance
-----------

I rode at high speeds down the coastal road. You can head up towards the
stadium or head down towards the Liberty Tree offices. It doesn't matter
which way you go, they both fill up the sales meter quickly.

Moped
-----

I took it slowly and stayed near the showroom. Extreme cornering without
going in a new direction also works for this bike too. Just take it easy on
the X button.

Dirtbike
--------

I rode the bike up and down the grassy area just west of the showroom. Just
be careful not to overdo it and go into the water.

Hog
---

I rode up and down the sidewalks running down everybody in sight. Drive-bys
and losing a wanted level works here too.
