TURNS TO LOOK OUT FOR:
Turn 8: A downhill hairpin done at about 50mph. As tempting it may be try not to pick up the throttle early. Take a wider line through this corner to avoid the bump on the apex
that unsettles the car.

Turn 14 & 15: Even though you could brake for this corner at about 75 metres, don't and I mean DON'T bother.
You will lose more time than possibly gain at any attempt. Brake for this turn at the 100m board to get a clean exit for the pit/main straight.

TURNS TO LOOK OUT FOR:
Turns 1 and 2: Make sure you take a good line through turn 1 so that you are well set up for turn 2. Mind you're line through turn 2 as well otherwise you will spin. Try not to
take too much of the inside line or kerb. Try to have a wide approach and almost "cut-in" to the apex.

Turn 4: Slightly tricky right-hander here, but if you brake at about 70m down to gear 3 and avoid running wide you should be ok for the long turn 5.

Turns 5-6: As the left-hander of turn 5 becomes turn 6, you can just downshift to gear 5 briefly before picking up the throttle again for turn 6 and onto a short straight.

Aurns 13-14: The flat out right-hander of 13 feeds you straight into the tight 14 so be alert. Braking point for this corner is a bit tricky, but try using the sponsor boards
at the boundaries of the track as a guidance. The text is in white with a red background. Try braking after coming into line with the "3rd" sponsor board with full steering
lock into the corner.

Jones (Turn 1): If you are brave and confident enough to stay on the racing line it is possible to brake for this corner at about 90m down to about 95mph. You've got be
aggressive though.

Turn 3, Albert Road (Turn 6), Clarke (Turns 9 & 10) and Ascari (Turn 13): These corners can all be braked at about 75m. Just watch the small kerbs and the grass.

Whiteford (Turn 5): If you can time your line through here right you can go flat out through this corner.

Turns 11 & 12 (the fast left, right chicane after the sector 2 time gate): Brake at about 75m and if you take a good, smooth line you can easily go flat out through this
chicane at 140+mph.

TURNS TO LOOK OUT FOR:
Turn 2 (Traguardo) & Turn 3: Just be careful with this fast left-rick flick of a chicane since if you mess this up, your line into the flat-out Tamburello (Turn 4) will be
compromised. Brake for it down to gear 4 at around 75m and be as smooth with your line as you can.

Acque Minerali (Turns 9 & 10): Just watch your line through here when you are breaking as it is a downhill double apex right-hander. Generally start braking after you hit the
first apex down to gear 4 and then accelerate through the second apex.

Rivazza 1 (Turn 14): Be careful of your steering input here. Coming off the backstraight and into the heavy braking zone makes the car feel quite light and can create some
"interesting" moments.

inadvertently cut the corner.
You'll know which one it is as it has a blue painted logo and just watch your line.

Dunlop Curve (Turn 7): Take as wide an approach to this corner's apex as possible so that you can just floor it out of the corner from 70mph.

NGK Chicane (Turns 13 and 14): Braking at the right time for this corner is critical as the best lap time can be won or lost at this chicane.

3.

Turn 9 (Campsa): Make sure you have a good line through here as you head onto the back straight. Cornering speed is around 145mph to 150mph.

Turn 10 (La Caixa): It's strange, but you can brake for this very tight hairpin at around 70m.

Turns 13 and 14 (New Holland): These corners are "blind" corners so watch your lines here. You can take it flat out easily with a good line and it makes for good overaking
oppurtunities on anyone ahead of you for the main straight and into Turn 1. On the other hand if you have a bad exit from these 2 corners any of the AI can easily pounce on you.

Sainte Devote (Turn 1): Finding a good line for this first corner is fairly hard, but once you find a way it doesn't seem so bad. Try not to be brave and brake later for the
corner. If anything that will end up in the barrier. It's actually better if you brake a little bit earlier.

Massenet & Casino (Turns 3 & 4): When you are braking and turning into the first part of these 2 corners, "glide" the car in and keep the speed at around 95-105mph.

Mirabeau (Turn 4): Just be careful with your line through this corner as there is a bump that will cause the car to spin.

Nouvelle Chicane (Turns 10 & 11): Brake at 100m, but try and take this chicane as smoothly as possible. You don't want to take too much out of the car, but you don't want to
over do it either.

Other than that be as smooth as possible for the other corners.

Copse (Turn 1): Downshift one gear and then floor it for this fast right-hander. Be careful with your line though! You can easily hit the barrier by going too deep and
spinning out or losing masses amount of time by going wide. Cornering speed can be 175mph.

Maggots (Turns 2 & 3): In the "middle" of these 2 corners that form a fast chicane, downshift once, but after that pick up the throttle a bit to keep speed up. In addition
avoid the kerbs. They will really unsettle the car and spin it.

Becketts (Turns 4 & 5): As you are approaching this corner downshift progressively to gear 4 before flooring it in preparation for the back straight.

Vale and Club Corner (Turns 8 & 9): The main thing about the Vale corner here is to avoid the kerb on the left, but take as much of the kerb on the Club Corner as you can.
This way you have a better chance to go through it flat out.

Abbey Chicane (Turns 10 & 11): Brake as late as you can, but also take as smooth a line as possible. If you do this right you can pick up the throttle right after you've
finished you're "braking phase".

L'Epingle (Turn 11): It is possible to brake down to roughly 45mph for this hairpin just after the 100m board. Risky, but worth it.

Turn 14 & 15 (right-left "flick" chicane): Brake at the 100m to gear 4, 110mph and really tackle this chicane. Just mind the wall on the right a.k.a The Wall of Champions.

You should brake at around 125m.

Turn 6: This is a long 180 degree left hander so you have to be patient before you pick up the throttle. Before you pick up the throttle try and keep it around 80mph

Turn 8: This is the tight left hander after the back straight. You have to brake to around 75mph for this corner, but also avoiding the kerb on the inside.

Turns 9 and 10: Time can be won (or equally lost!) in these 2 hairpins if you take them smoothly and cleanly. They should be taken at around 50mph.

Nurburgring chicane (Turns 7 & 8): The cornering speed here is around 160mph. To do this, engine brake down to gear 5 at around 70m and just take the corner.

Imola chicane (Turns 12 & 13): This chicane is a bit more tricky than the Nurburgring one. Brake from around 75m down to gear 5, making sure that you hit both apex's.

Turns 16 & 17: After you exit from Lycee (Turn 15) the right-left chicane comes up immediately that leads onto the pit straight. Try to hold off the throttle a bit inbetween
Lycee and these last 2 corners so that you don't end up going in too hot and taking too much kerb.

TURNS TO LOOK OUT FOR:
Nordkurve (Turn 1): Downshift quickly to gear 5 after the 100m board and throw the car into the corner. Be careful that you don't throw it in so much that you actually short cut
the corner.

Turn 2: This comes pretty quickly after you exit turn 1 so keep your eyes peeled for your braking point. Should be around 70m and make sure you get that apex as well to get the
best exit speed possible and line into turn 3 as it leads to the only real overtaking oppurtunity.

Turn 4: This tight hairpin is your only real overtaking oppurtunity on this track. You can brake for this corner at about 100m, down 5 gears to 40mph. Hit the apex and pick up
the throttle and exit speed is 70+mph.

Turn 7: This is right after you exit turn 6 so a good exit from turn is vital. It is possible to take this corner flat out, but you have to get it right. Throw the car in with
full steering lock after you pass the curb on the left. You will know what I mean as on the right of the corner at the apex is a curb which you must avoid.

Turn 8: This is just after the sector two time gate. At about 70m, downshift to gear 5. Then after the 50m board throw the car in. Once you hit the apex, full throttle.

Sachs-Kurve (Turn 9): Choosing a braking point marker here is strange, but if you look to the right you can see a massive pylon or tower of some sort. Just as soon as you pass
this brake down to gear 3. When taking this corner, avoid the kerb on the inside and the one on the outside on the exit.

Mobil 1 Kurve (Turn 12): Just be careful with your steering input. The car feels a bit light after turns 10 & 11 before it which are flat out.

Sudkurve (Turn 13): Just after turn 12 just ease off the throttle for a bit and then pick up the throttle again once you hit the apex. Cornering speed is about 105mph.

TURNS TO LOOK OUT FOR:
Turn 1: Fairly simple corner in respects. I recommend braking at the 100m board, but take a wider line through the apex and you can get better traction and speed.

Turn 4: Flat out left hander here at about 175-180mph. Turn into this corner just after the sector one time gate, but mind the kerb on the inside.

Turn 5: This is right after turn 4. Have the car braking with steering lock into this long 180 degree corner.

Turns 6 & 7: Brake at about 70m for this right-left chicane. You can take some of the curbs here, but not too much as they are quite high.

Turns 8 & 9: Just before the 50m board downshift to gear 4, wait till you hit the apex then hit the throttle again for a brief moment. Then ease off entirely until it is safe
to pick up the throttle again for turn 9.

Turn 11: Flat out right hander here at about 160mph. Turn in for this corner at the signpost that says "Agip" with full steering lock.

Turn 12: Brake at about 70m, down to gear 3 and just take the corner.

Turn 14: Crucial corner here. In between the Vodafone box and the barrier on the right (left if you're going into the pits) brake whilst full steering lock into the corner.
That way you won't have to wait as long to pick up the throttle.

TURNS TO LOOK OUT FOR:
Turn 1: Your braking point for this corner is at 70m, but your turn in point is like little bit trickier even if it doesn't sound like it. You have to get it right or you're
going to lose valuable tenths. What can work is to turn in to the corner after braking and shifting down 4 gears very quickly to 90mph.

Turn 3: It seems strange, but brake and turn into this corner at the 50m board. Bring it down to around 103mph before putting on the throttle again.

Turn 4: Take care with your line through this corner. If you take it on the inside most likely is you'll find the bump and spin out. Take a wider line and generally you can
actually get a better exit speed.

Turn 8: You have to get all 4 apexes in this corner. If not you can lose up to half a second! Generally, you "throw" the car into the first apex (still full throttle)
and brake slightly down to gear 5 for the second and then full throttle for the rest of the corner and remaining 2 apex's exitting the corner in excess of 170mph.

TURNS TO LOOK OUT FOR:

Variante del Rettifilo (Turns 1 & 2): Probably your best overtaking oppurtunity on the track here. Brake at around 125m down to gear 2 and around 45mph. Mind the bumps on the
exit of the chicane though.

Variante della Roggia (Turns 3 & 4): Another possible overtaking oppurtunity here, but trickier than the Variante del Rettifilo. Brake at around 140m down to gear 3. Try to
avoid the inside curb, it's quite high and most likely to destabalise your car and cost you time. You can take some of the curb and bump on the exit, but just be careful that
you don't end up cutting it or taking the bump awkwardly that you lose the rear end.

Variante Ascari (Turns 7, 8 & 9): Be aggressive here, but not too aggressive! Brake at the 100m board, down to gear 4 and take the first apex at about 120mph and floor it
through the rest of the s curve of this series of corners. Try not to take too much curb/astroturf on the second apex though.

Parabolica (Turn 10): Brake down to gear 4, 95mph at the 50m board and then pick up the throttle at the right moment to go flat out through the rest of the corner and onto the
pit straight.

TURNS TO LOOK OUT FOR:
Turns 1 & 2: At the 50m board throw the car into turn 1 with full steering lock and gently brake down to gear 5. After this through turn 2, just let the car decelerate
progressively and downshifting with it to eventually gear 2. If necessary, gun the throttle a bit to keep speed up. Then coes turn 2 where you have to be patient with the
throttle or you're going to run wide off of turn 3

Turns 11, 12 & 13: These 3 corners can be murder if you get them wrong. The first one turn 11 is similar to Vale from Silverstone. Try avoiding the inside kerb. For turn 12,
you should ease off the throttle for a bit and finally turn 13. Try to stay on the inside line and as you are exitting the corner onto the back straight bring it progressively
to the left handside or outside.

Turn 14: End of the backstraight here, brake for this corner just a little before the 100m board and bring the car down 5 gears and to about 40mph.

Turn 16: At about 75m, brake gently and downshift to gear 4 and then pick up the throttle for the pit straight. Cornering speed is about 110mph, minding the kerb on the inside.

TURNS TO LOOK OUT FOR:
Turns 1 & 2: Be wary of how you take your entry into turn 1. Take it a little bit wrong and you're spinning guaranteed. I would recommend that you engine brake to gear 6 at the
50m board and then turn in with full steering lock then after you have passed turn 1's apex brake lightly down to gear 3.

S Curves and Dunlop Curve (Turns 3 - 7): These turns are approximately 20% of the lap distance, but about 27% of the lap time! Hitting these series of corners right can make a
huge difference. Just try and keep your speed up as high as possible through these corners. The first 2 can be taken by just letting off the throttle at the right time. The
third can be taken with a bit of engine braking. Brake a little for the fourth corner and flat out through the never ending Dunlop Curve.

Degner Curve (Turn 8): Just after the 100m engine brake down to gear 6 and you can take this corner at about 170mph. Just watch your turn in and steering angle.

Casio Triangle (Turn 17): The 100m braking point can sometimes be a bit blind as it is virtually right after the fast left 130R corner. It's easier to count the number of boards
so in this sense it's the third board to brake at. Take the first apex of the right-left chicane smoothly at about 50mph and you can go flat out for the rest of the lap.

TURNS TO LOOK OUT FOR:
Descida do Sol (Turn 1): Due to the corners entry being uphill, you can brake for this corner just after the 50m board down to about 60mph. Try also to take wider approach to
this corner as the apex is generally bumpy and slippery. The easiest way to manage this is to turn into the corner after you pass the shadow of the Telefonica banner.

Senna-S (Turn 2): Right after Descida do Sol, flat-out, but provided you take a good line. If not you'll be sliding about and probably into the barrier.

Ferradura (Turn 6): Braking for this corner comes after the 50m board. If you look just after the 50m board the fence then stops off. That's when you should brake down to gear 4
and throw the car into the corner at about 120mph. Do it right and you can take the rest of this uphill corner flat out.

Turn 8: Just be careful of when you brake and turn in for this corner. The camber falls away and it can throw your car off. The exit is easy as it links up immediately with
Penheirinho (Turn 9).

Mergulho (Turn 12): Downhill corner that can be taken at full throttle. You just have to keep it on the inside line.

Juncao (Turn 13): The most important corner of the track here. Brake at about 70m to about 75-80mph. Keep a clean line and floor the throttle in preparation for the uphill climb
to finish the lap.
