Tips | ============================================================================= There are many tips you should know before you get started. Here are some of them and some of their explanations : - Always have at least 1 Thief's Cuffs so that when you steal, you can steal multiple items and sometimes you can get 3 items. I dont know if you can still get 4 items if you steal. There are also some monsters who have gil. So it is best to steal before you poach or kill them. One such example is an Adamantitan that can be found in Cerobi Steppe / Feddik River. Equip the Thief's Cuffs and Steal from him. You will get 200 gil when you steal from him - Always Have 2 Characters to support the Party Leader. The Gambits for the 2 Characters will be explained later on. Getting the Party Leader fully buffed will ensure that the looting process will be a successful one. - Remember that the Party Leader will be the one who will support the party He is the one who will get loot for the party. ============================================================================= [Int] 2. Introduction | ============================================================================= Hi, my name is Jeanne Kevin T.Decena. I made this guide because i want to help myself and you readers the set-up of gambit etc. By the way, it is my very first time to write a guide here in GameFAQs so i am so sure you will see many errors here in my guide. If you see some, quickly e-mail me. My e-mail can be found in Contact Info area of this guide. Hope you have a nice trip here!!! ============================================================================= [Ver] 3. Version History | ============================================================================= Version 1.0 - March 8 2008 = Submitted the FAQ. Version 1.1 - March 31 2008 = Added Loots section. Going to add more loots with my next side update. ============================================================================= [Equ] 4. Equipments | ============================================================================= In order to add more effect to your Looting adventure, you need to equip some important equipments in order for you to make your Looting adventure even more exciting! It is just a few anyway. Party Leader : Weapon - ( Any Long Range weapon such as hand-bombs, bows, crossbows and others ) Shield or Ammunition - Anything, just as long as you have the weapon Head - Circlet Body - Maximillian Accessory - Thief Cuffs * Note * : Oh yeah, Thief's Cuffs are very important so that you can get a rare loot from the monster your stealing. Oh i forgot, for the second and third members, i recommend equipping them with bubble belts so their current HP is doubled. I also recommend equipping them both with Hermes' Sandal so you dont need to recast and recast Haste. If you have Ribbon, you can equip it to one of your members. But it is not necessary for me, well it is useful if you are still in a low level, but i only recommend bubble belts. You can still equip Ribbon on one of your members. It is your choice. You can buy the Thief's Cuffs in either Mount Bur-Omisace, Mosphoran Highwaste and Phon Coast It enables the theft of superior and rare items. ============================================================================= [Gam] 5. Gambits | ============================================================================= My usual set-up goes like this. Please just bear with it and/or change the setting of the gambits according to your liking. This is how i set-up my gambit on the game and i have no problems with this. If you have problems with this kind of set-up, you can e-mail me and give me your own customized gambits and i will put your name on the Credits section. My e-mail is jeannekevindecena@yahoo.com [Par] A. Party Leader : 1. Foe : Character status - Blind ----- > Sight Unseeing 2. Self ----- > Blind 3. Foe : status - HP Critical ----- > Poach 4. Self ----- > Libra Explanation : Always take note that when in " Blind " status, you will automatically do " Sight Unseeing " when you spot an enemy from a distance. When the " Sight Unseeing " was performed, the HP of the enemy will go down as low as 1 HP. Although i recommend it so that you will not have any hard time. But this should help out. Oh yeah, you can put a gambit for steal if you like.I dont put any steal gambit so it is better to steal first before doing the " Sight Unseeing " technick. [Sec] B. Second Member : 1. Ally : Party Leader ----- > Haste 2. Ally : Party Leader ----- > Regen 3. Ally : Party Leader ----- > Bubble 4. Self : MP - 20% ----- > Charge Explanation : Remember that " Haste " is always important in order to " speed up one ally's action ". You can also try exchanging Regen and Bubble if you like. Regen will replenish one ally's HP over time. It is temporary also. Bubble will double your max HP so if your max HP is 4000, and you cast Bubble, your max HP will become 8000. Charge will have 50 % chance to succeed in casting the technick. Usually just recommend at 20 % if you ask me. Chargewill replenish oneally's MP. When you are in High Levels, the MP that youwill receive will increase as your LVL increases respectively. [Thi] C. Third Member : 1. Ally : Party Leader ----- > Shell 2. Ally : Party Leader ----- > Float 3. Ally : Party Leader ----- > Protect 4. Self : MP - 20% ----- > Charge Explanation : Shell is good especially for low levels. They help reduce elemental damage ( Black Magicks ) casted on the character. Float will let you avoid any traps you walk into. Protect is also good if you are in low level. Protect help increases defense and reduces damage taken. ============================================================================= [Rol] 6.
