The following playable characters can be unlocked by completing the indicated mini-game in Story mode.
Unlock Axel as a Playable Character:
In Story mode complete the Russia mini-game.
Unlock Cousin Eddy and ATV as Playable Characters:
In Story mode complete the L.A./Cousin Eddy mini-game.
When you complete the following mini-games in Story mode the corresponding Deathmatch level will become unlocked.
Unlock Paris Deathmatch Level:
Complete the Paris mini-game in Story mode.
Unlock Greece Deathmatch Level:
Complete the Greece mini-game in Story mode.
Unlock Tokyo Deathmatch Level
Complete the Tokyo Streets mini-game in Story mode.
Unlock Roman Ruins Deathmatch Level:
Complete the Roman Ruins mini-game in Story mode.
Complete Single-Player Story mode with 5 different characters to unlock Tower Tooth as a playable character in Death Match mode (Rome level only) and the Tower Tooth Challenge level.
Unlock Transylvania Level in Story Mode:
This feature is unlocked when you beat Transylvania in Story mode.
Unlock Transylvania Deathmatch:
This feature is unlocked when you beat Transylvania's mini-game
When you complete Twisted Metal: Lost on certain difficulty levels bonus characters and the Port of Death secret level can be unlocked.
Unlock 12-Pac (Unavailable for Selection in Twisted Metal: Head On):
Complete Story mode on the Medium difficulty setting.
Unlock Gold Tooth (Unavailable for Selection in Twisted Metal: Head On):
Complete Story mode on the Hard difficulty setting.
Unlock Port Of Death Level (Unavailable in Story Mode):
Complete Story mode on the Medium difficulty setting.
Complete the Bonus mini-game on the indicated levels to unlock these hidden characters.
Unlock Hammerhead (Green Monster Truck):
Complete the Bonus mini-game on the Tokyo level.
Unlock Crimson Fury (Red Ferrari Sports Car):
Complete the Bonus mini-game on the Monaco level.
Unlock Mr. Slam (Construction Vehicle):
Complete the Bonus mini-game on the Los Angeles level.
If you need help to progress in the game then try entering this batch of codes. To enter the codes hold L1 and R1 during the game and then the code for the effect you want to enable. To disable the code just re-enter the code again.
Unlock Invulnerability:
Press Up, Down, Left, Right, Right, Left, Down, Up.
Unlock Infinite Weapons:
Triangle, Triangle, Down, Down.
Unlock Killer Weapons (Super Damage):
Press X, X, Up, Up.
Unlock Mega Guns:
Press X, Triangle, X, Triangle.
Trade Weapons for Health:
Press Triangle, X, Square, Circle.
Radial Blast:
Press Left, Left, Up, Down, Left, Right.
If you go to the Russia secret bonus level and finish it you will unlock Axel.I found that out just yesterday and the staff didn't put it down.
