Unlock Alternate Costumes

Unlock Michelle's 3rd Costume:
Beat the game with Michelle and then press 'Start' to select her in her alternate outfit.

Unlock Armor King's Alternate Costume:
Complete Arcade mode with Armor King and then at the 'Character' selection screen highlight Armor King and press 'Start'.

Special Combat Moves

Try doing some of these great moves during a fight by pressing the indicated buttons on your controller.

Super Charger:
During a fight with any character press ALL the buttons.

Automatic Lower Parry:
During a fight with any character press Down/Forward.

Escape Backflip:
During a fight with most of the characters press Up/Back.

Practice Mode Stage Select

If you think you need to practice a stage before you start a game then highlight 'Practice' mode at the 'Main' menu and hold L2 and press R2 the indicated number of times to select the corresponding stage.

Unlock Law (New) Stage:
Press R2 once.

Unlock Yoshimitsu (Light Snow) Stage:
Press R2 twice.

Unlock Ling Stage:
Press R2 3 times.

Unlock Hwoarang Stage:
Press R2 4 times.

Play as Mokujin/Testujin and Unknown in Arcade Mode

You know when you unlock all fighters, you get Mokujin/Testujin and Unknown during the sequence. Have you noticed that when you play Arcade mode, Mokujin/Testujin and Unknown don't seem to be selectable, but in theater, Mokujin's/Testujin's and Unknown are selectable to see their movies? To play as Mokujin/Testujin in Arcade, go to the bottom row, go all the way left, but don't stop at the last visible fighter, keep on going. Testujin should appear on the bottom of the screen. Do the same thing with Unknown, but go all the way to the right, instead. It worked for me, so it should work for you, too.

Do Super Charger:

While playing, press all the buttons and your character will be a little faster and stronger for a few seconds.

Pauls Somersault

Law and paul must be partnerd. With Paul, Keep down pressed and then press up+forward(diagonal)and press X and triangle together. Paul should then do a somersault

Never lose!

To basically never lose, have Kazua and Devil as partners.

Have Kazua in play, and tag him out. Kazua will transform into Devil, and his life will be fully restored.

To use Tetsujin get all the on screen characters then go to wang (the old dude at the bottom left) and press left.

Then press square to get tetsujin(any other button results in choosing mokujin).

Get Unknowns Thearter go to Arcade mode and go to Roger and go to the right of him and select her. Then finish with her as your charecter but you have to already have her.

You don't have to unlock Devil or True Ogre or Unknown or Tesujin. But you do have to unlock Dark Jun and Dark Jin by getting 15 wins in Survival mode and 13 wins again in Survival.
