Soldier of Fortune is an alright game.The graphics are alright,but need a little touch. the graphics remind me of a game i would play at an arcade. the levels are pretty good,but the game isnt as life-like as u think. for an example... basicly any weapon ,(besides the combat knife), can blow off some1's head,arm,leg,etc. i dont know about u but i dont think a 9mm. black panther can shoot someones head off. but if u want, u can turn off the blood and limbs flying off. but that just makes it too unrealistic. one of my personell favorites is the b-42( berserker) 12 gauge shotgun. but 95% of the time a body part flys off. u have to aim direclty in front of stomach for it not to blow any limbs off. but its very usful for taking out a squad of about 4 or 5. another good one is a smg,(sub machine gun), its pretty good,but again,it usually blows off body parts evry time. i dont really like the heavy machine gun cuase it fires to slow and u have to reload over and over,a real hmg hold about 300 bullets per round. but its still very lethal,i prefer using it for close assaults. so i hope my review helped u on if u want to buy or rent this game. if u want a very and highly detailed game thats not a realistic wannabe,i suggest SOCOM or MEDAL OF HONOR FRONLTINE. or if u like blowing limbs off every u time u fire a gun,this is the game for u. but if u think this game is too cheesy(believe me,it is) then i suggest the UNREAL TOURNT series or QUAKE ARENA,cya!
