For rock band you need the ps2 slimline. The older one will not work for rock band I got the game and we tryed it out and we couldn't get it to work so we found out it was to old, so make sure you have the slim if you want this game

If any of you guys have rock band and 1 little brother or sister or more I suggest that you hind the game rock band or make sure they don't touch it because once when I was at baseball practice my brothers (2 brothers) snuck in my room and played rock band and once I put it in the Ps2 it did not work (but about a month later I fixed) So if anybody has the same problem than take my advice
This advice could also work with any other game.
