crap without cheats

I'm on the second last level (Nightcrawler's last level) and I can't get any hits into the other transporting demons and it's making it impossible to complete the level. So if you know any way on how to make the level easier then tell me please.

Press circle then press square 4-5 times and it will probably kill them because thats what I did and it worked
