I'm pretty sure that it is in one of the chairs in the "bedrooms" or that could be something else maybe

Check the couch in the ladies cabin, roughly in the middle. Just hit O at different spots of the couch until you get it.

Close, it's in the Men's cabin, I literally just picked it up

Actually, no, it IS in the womens cabin. Before picking up the key (which you literally cannot see. Just click the O button on the sofa/couch in the middle of the room till it says you picked it up) I spoke to Allen and Shion repremanded him for being in the womens quarters, where he was waiting to speak to her.
