Why cannot you play as Other forces in Story mode

What do you mean as other forces? Do you mean zhang jiao or meng huo, or do you mean orochis forces? If you mean my first thing, you can, you just have to unlock them in storymode. 2nd one I have yet to find out. I am on last storymode for me I think, WU
