The warp portal is up in the above balcony. Jump into the fire to rocket yourself to the left and walk into the portal. You'll appear in the tapestry and just jump on to his head to get the key.

It is kind of hard. There is a portal on a ledge in the temple you started out in when you met the old man. I used the fire pit to get up there. If you don't have the skill it will take a couple of trys to get up there. Once you get you there, you will see a portal. You will find yourself inside of a picture of a guy in the molten rock form suit. Look all across the picture and you will see a floating crest that has the symbol for the rock suit. Now become how you were suppose to be.

It's when you come out of Vexx's dream Jump into the middle fire and there is an extra Life with a vortex on the other side enter the Vortex and Jump up the Rock like thing You land on then Jump up on the head is the Power Up
