On mission 5, Frankenstein's Castle, what am I supposed to do after I walk inside and kill all of those gremlin things.

Go up to the balcony. to the left, there is a door, enter it. there is a statue, and you need to shoot the medallion that the statue is holding.
This will cause the statue to rise, and you then need to shoot the base. Then an egg will fall from the fireplace.
Go back out and then go up the right balcony. kill all those gremlin things and there is a weapon upgrade (I am pretty sure that it is the rifle one....)
Then you can go back out to the main room and straight back on the lower level from the entrance, there is a door that you must break through to continue on.
What would you shoot the statue with?????
