Go to your family and then push (ctrl + shift and C) the cheat box should pop up then type in Boolprop controlpets on/off. Then you should be able to control your pets (cats and dogs)

This is how to delete or get rid of pets. First go to the town sqare, then go to the store where it has a dog and a cat on the front, and click and it will say, Buy pet, and Sell pet but it will only say sell if you have your pet with you, so then just BAM! There your done.
