Hunting the boar

This can be tricky. The first time I played as a single castaway I found a bore on the second Island just before you build the bridge. I ran into it and it just attacked me and I won. It was so easy and I couldn't understand why everybody else seemed to be having problems with this. However the second time I played with a whole group of fellow castaways. It was the last goal I completed. I couldn't even find a bore to attack and then when I finally did he just ignored me and no matter how much I tried to irritate it I got no responce.

From my experience you have to be patient with this one. I have seen them more commonly on the second island on either side where you build the bridge and on the third island on the geyser plains and volcano overlook. They are attracted to your gardens so build one of those if you can. When and if you run into a bore try to get in it's way. When you manage to trap it the bore will go into attack mode the result is random, but body count of 10 helps you win the match.

You need the obsidian spear, get into a fight with the boar by followin it around and stuff

I'm not exactly sure, but the boar will attack you in two situations. It will sometimes attack you when you are least expecting it and aren't even near it, for no apparent reason. Or it will attack you if you annoy it by running into it over and over and stopping in front of it when it's running. When it attacks you, quickly go into your inventory and pull out your spear. Then, if you successfully hunt it, a piece of ham will appear on the ground in front of you. Good luck and hope this helps!

Well when I fought it you didnt need a spear but you do have to annoy it and you fight it in big ball of dust

well[color=red][/color] when i did that[strike][/strike] the bore had lost and it was like a glitch cuz my person just kept on fighting it and would not stop so why r u guys having a hard time beating it.

Yeah.. It's easy you must go to west river plain or build garden in third island but boar always steal my food so I'm upset and annoy it here how to do:
1.build garden/place food that boar often crossing arround
2. If you spot them use weapon like machete/unarmed (p.s I'm recomend you to get body stat maxed out and use beard beard sword) you can get into full mood for winning battle chance
3.use weapon /unarmed and annoy it by getting in boar way but don't move asside far away from boar
Last.the boar will upset and on your sim head there a pic that show your sims angry to boar and the boar will jump toward you and you will wrestling with the boar if you win you got a ham that lay over there if you LOSE your sim died by it fall into ground and you must use other sim to ressurecting your sim that's all happy hunting!! :D

Im tryed much time hunting the boar but it's happened randomly.hier are some tricks,meak some food and put in on grudn by island 2 or 3,the boar will com and eat the food now yust wak around it and get in it's way it's will become angry after that good luck get ham :P
Ps:it's may not attack try also traping it and stay in the way it can only go!

All you need to do to hunt the boar is wait on Airplane Island in the area where you build the bridge. Sometimes there will be a grunting noise somewhere in there, that means there's a boar running around. You have to run after it, I didn't use any tools, I just kept on trying to run into it without letting it get away.
