Okay, the llama crown is in the llama temple interior, behind the two thrones. (You need all of the hyroglyphics to get in there, though)
There is an ancient door in the dark caves on the second island, that you need to open with the llama crown. To get over the quicksand, you have to go through those doors, and to the east plains. You can then knock over one of the ruins, letting you walk over the quicksand. To the right of this entrance is a hill. Go up this hill and inspect the rock. If you have a chisel, you'll be able to chisel it at the bottom, and push it over.
You might find treasure map pieces and hyroglyphics when you harvest clams. There is a piece of hyroglyphic next to the ancient door at the geyser place. You can sometimes find pieces of treasure map in the hot springs too! But, the best thing I can tell you is just to keep your eyes open!
Hope this helps!-Brightshadow94
