I think the best job is the army. It pays well and you do not need a lot of friends to complete it.

LEVEL 10 PAYS....
Science = $2333
Politics = $2200
Business = $2100
Crime = $2100
Athletics = $2033
Artist = $1500
Medicine = $1499
Fashion = $1400
Law = $1225
Military = $1225
Science would be the best option, although it doesn't have the best working hours. LOL

There is not a job option for "Show Business" for Sims 2 on Ps2.
Closest jobs are probably Fashion & Art.
