How do you upgrade rides, I have upgrades, do they just upgrade automatically.

You have to go on the screen that shows the information of a ride. If you have an upgrade, then click on upgrade. Upgrading a ride will mean it will not be used for a short time while it is being upgraded.
You have to highlight the ride click on information and click upgrade and a mechanic should come and work on it. When the upgrade is finished, spirals will swirl around it. You'll have to re-do the speed and the duration and the other stuff after the upgrade because they will reset to default.
