How do you kill GAUL!!!

I kill the first one easily but what do I do with the second and please don't tell me there is a third!! He does this whirlwind that you can't get away from and when you do hit him he barely loses power! What's the trick?

To get rid of his second life,(there is a third) you hit him with the primary breath, when he does the whirlwhind, alow yourself to be sucked into it and make sure and stay away from the edges, float or glide down. To dodge the green beam, see where he is pointing it and jump over it. He will stand catching his breath, that is a golden moment, run over to him and hit him with the primary and secondary breath (that's the the most effective.) When he starts to use a fury, run as far away from him as possible, that should keep you out of danger. When you have done that notice that you have a fury, use it and enjoy!

Just go into the wirlwind. The time to hit him is after he uses the green lazer. Use Triangle and Square against him then. When you kill him he gets a third life but all you have to do is press R2. He dies. Id tell you how but that would ruin dark spyros coolness
