How do you raise the totems? It says use tail swipe but it doesn't work

I don't know why they say tail swipe. It doesnt work. You stand on the block, jump twice, and hit o. Worked for me!

The game never teaches you tail swipe, which is odd.... You have to look it up for your certain device, for example I have it on GameCube so the pattern is A,A, hold X. Just find the pattern and you'll be good to go! Hope this helped! Good luck!
