You should see a type of symbol. You get to first transform in a snow level. squrril- acorn symbol. Press then hold "a" button to glide. Hold the joy stick to stay higher, but you go slower.

Bear- paw symbol. With the bear you can slide down slide- like ground to get to other areas. He can attack with the "b" button and jump with the "a" button

Frog- leaf-like symbol. Swim very fast past alligators. Jump with the a button and use tongue to swing from dragonfly to dragonfly with the b button.

Warthog- can't remember symbol. Are able to go over very hot rock loosing small amount of health at a time. Ram through columns of rock with the b button. Jump with the a button.

P.S.- to transform into spirit animal get near pole/symbol and press the x button. The juju meter slowly goes down when in spirit animal form. To get out of spirit animal form at any time all you have to do is press the x button again.
