HUD, stands for Head's Up Display. I don't know what the Heads Up Display is but I do know that's what HUD means.

All it does is get rid of the crosshairs and such.

The no hud does as you can't see your health,your ammunation,your weapon å your second-weapon display

HUD=Heads Up Display
No HUD=no heads up display
This cheat will remove the map, crosshairs, health meter, weapons/ammo meter. Pretty much anything that is removed when you press the select button.
