How do I enter the cheat codes for invincibility? ..

kathgabe asks: Added Dec 24th 2006, ID #73647

Question for Star Wars: Battlefront II

How do I enter the cheat codes for invincibility?

I've tried every combination of the code, with and without using R2 & L2, pausing the game during play, but without any luck.

When the game is paused it shows
Game Menu
Resume Game
Restart mission

Using the directional pad to press Up (3), L, D(3),L, U(3), L,R
Just seems to move the selection around the above options, without any sound at the end of entering the above.

What am I doing wrong? Has anyone been able to successfully enter this cheat?

I think you must enter the code at the beginning of an Instant Action battle. I tried doing it in Rise of the Empire and it didn't work.

I've been able to get the cheat to work but I can't see what you are doing wrong since it appears you've done everything correctly. The way to do it is pause the game and while typing in the cheat hold down L2 and R2 while inputting the code, but since you've said that you've done that I don't really know. Just try it a few more times.

It worked for me in instant action and rise of the empire so try putting it in slowly if that doesn't work then try a diffrent controler.

You have to do it rather quickly and you don't have to hold any of the trigger buttons. It works in ROTE and galactic conquest just keep trying you will get it eventually...

I can always successfully enter the codes for this game. But what I find necessary to do is push the buttons as quick as possible (if you hold the triggers it slows down your button smashing). The only way I am able to push the code in really fast is to memorize the code and simulate it without actually pushing the buttons in (just lightly tap it with your fingers). Good luck =)

First you use the L1 and R1 buttons, it should move it around and at the end make a "bleeeep" sound.

Well, pause the game, hold L2 and R2. Press up, up, up, left, down, down, down, left, up, up, up, left, right. If it doesn't work, you might accidentally be pressing the wrong button. And you are supposed to use the Directional pad. And, some directional pads have each arrow connected, while others have spaces between each arrow. The connected ones always have trouble with this code. If you don't understand the connected/not connected thing, just forget about it.
