There are special places on the vehicles, which when hit will give you a critical hit, for example the neck of the AT-AT.

Every vehicle on planetary battles (except Alliance Arc and Speeders like the Bikes and Staps) has a spot that will lead to a critical hit. Here's a few:

AT-AT: Neck
Spider Walker: Joint that holds the legs to the "Body".
IFT-X or T: The square section in the back.
AAT: The hatch section in the back.
AT-TE: Heave Machinery in the bottom.

You have to hit the vehicle's weak spot. For example for the CIS Tank you have to hit it's "eyes".

It's a little tough, but it's way easier than it seems. In order to get a demolition medal, you hit the vehicles weak point (as you know) 4 times in one life. Go to hoth be rebels and hit the atat in the neck four times in one life. After that wait 30 secs. Then respawn. Repeat the process until the end of the match, it's easier to do it when you arrange the conquest rein. Ppl to 500%.

Go to Hoth, and try getting close to the AT-AT and shoot the neck area.
