I am a long time player of this but,I was just wondering if you can really destroy an Enemy Capitol Ship.Also,I destroyed all the critical systems,the shields the engines,the sensor relay,communications array,the command bridge,the life support, and even the auto-defense mainframe,but the "Destroy The Critical Systems"or whatever objective was still highlighted.Is there a critical system that I don't know about?Or is the objective always highlighted?

If you're playing in instant action, yes, it's always highlighted. In Galactic Conquest or Rise of the Empire the mission should end after you've destroyed every vidal system on the capitol ship.

You can't really destroy the capitol ships. After you destroy all the critical systems it will still be highlighted because.... It just is. Look at your score at the top. It should be something out of 180 (unless you changed it in Instant action or if you if you are playing Rise of the Empire.) To get more points destroy fighters.

Yes, it is always highlighted and no, you cannot actually blow up the enemy Fleet.

It's a rather annoying thing, but the objective is always highlighted under Instant Action. You can't destroy a capital ship though, it will always remain intact.
