Well, first you start off at the frozen depot or ice depot. Whatever. Anyway, do and do the double jump smash thing on this switch around there, which will open a gate. Go through, then after a while you will be in this place where you have to get to this ledge. Go and get to the ledge (I can't remember how to :/) then go a little bit forward and you will be captured by a mammoth. You have to be Hunter for a while, but you don't have to battle Old Red. (The mammoth.) Then, you can run around being Spyro again, and you'll find you're in the Ice Citadel. Then just go around for a while and then you will find the elder who got trapped.
