How do you defeat Beowulf? I keep getting knocked into the fires by the berserkers or him, or I just get killed by him. This is very frustrating!

Get the Blades of Athena and block (L2).While blocking, press X so you can kick him. If you suceed, he will fall back but not hit the ground. This doesn't hurt him. While he is still back, attack. If your blocking and his blue power (Power of the Gods) is full, run. His special attack can NOT be blocked. If you can't get away, just jump. The blue power is shown above his health bar. About the berserkers, when they come, just kill them if they get annoying.
I beat Beowulf a different way. I used the meadusa sheild. All I did was avoid him
and roll behind him to attack. The only reason I used that weapon was because
I didnt know how to switch weapons till I got the spear. Also rolling around enemies
And attacking them is an easy way to kill. I picked that tactic on the Zelda games.
