Can't beat chronicle 10, need help.

I am currently on chronicle 10 of chronicles of the sword. I am having a hard time beating the X2-LVL3 mini tower in the center. I can beat the king easy enough but the second guy (LVL-40) beats the snot out of most of my guy's. When I finally beat him my guy's have to heal up and the 8 riders are on me before they can. How can I get my guy's to a higher level before I face them? Also is ther an easier way to beat the lvl 40 block happy guy?

Lances work well on Hyle. As for the riders, I would suggest abandoning the castle that you just took and falling back to the stronghold directly behind it. (Make sure you fortify the three or so Strongholds between the castle and your main to level three. Try not to fortify any others so your troops don't return to there.) As they're smashing through the castle, your units should have had enough time to recover and return. When they get to you, attck them before their comrades get close enough to back them up. This way, you can recover a little between fighting.

Once you wipe them out, just charge straight forward and retake anything you lost.

Needless to say, keep your weakest unit out of the fighting, at your main stronghold perhaps. That's how I did it today, and it was pretty easy. If your levels are low, you can always use the level 60 character to earn some XP. Of course, that damages your win/lose ratio quiet a bit. Hope this helped.

I use the ninja using kunai, but it only works up to about half of Hyle's life when that on dies. I notice people are saying characters with lances work well. It actually depends on what type of fighter you are. I am on who prefers to take an offensive, where I do barely any blocking if any at all and I use fast characters to finish off my opponents quickly, but their strikes are weaker than a heavy weapon type, so when it comes to using characters with larger weapons, I get frustrated easily with them because they are slow at running, swinging, and to keep their health up enough for you to stay in the fight you have to do a lot of blocking, though they do shell out some damage when you can strike with them and are at a defensive idea. Hyle's character is a more rounded character, between the weapon weights. So he can move faster than heavy types, slower than light types as well as shell out so decent damage. The only thing I can tell you is to fortify(Fortifying a fort cost a 1000 gold all together for the highest level. For level two fort, it cost 300, and a level three is 700.) for a fort near his fortress, and keep at going at him until you take him because your characters are weaker than him (My strongest was a level 24 when I first faced him and he's obviously a level 40.) What also may help is to defeat all the forts and enemies in the first part of the area, but I recommend taking the king out first, then going to the fort above (To the right of the fort) where Seung Mina is and fighting her. The stage is ice there and she's a level 60, but she's easier to fight, but a good way to level faster is letting her beat your characters, after attacking her a couple times, multiple times till about a level 35, or close to that if using multiple characters. Always leave the weakest unit behind in the main base or a fort that is a level 3 or so that if you loose all your characters other than that unit that your other units can recover in time to fight if the riders are after you.

It also easy to beat that man LVL 40 man (Hyle) using four character just use katana (murasame) use the B+K,chinese sword (soul calibur) use A A A A A A A it will damage so few but if you like that with long time you will able to defeat him, then ninja with soul of taki (kris naga),and someone using hercules sword just use A+B attack so many then you will beat hyle so easy
