Lenny has a peculiar strength - by which I mean Peralysis.
To conquer this, you need a bracelet to make your strongest -- Yuri -- invincible to Peralysis... The Bhodi Bracelet (I think). Check your equipment -- usually you'll pick these things up coincidentally. Have Blanca and Joachim (or Karen - your choice) harness Healing Crests - Cure, Arc Cure, Heal and Arc Heal.
1. Get rid of the Clawed Soldiers first. If you don't, they'll only make Lenny's attacks stronger.
2. Brace yourself for one-on-four attacks; Lenny isn't the weakest opponent for an enemy, so keep your cool and use plenty of Thera, Mana and Pure roots/leaves. Remember to buy a lot from the tailors.
3. Combine your attacks. In order of strength: Yuri, Joachim, Blanca, Karen and Geppetto.
Helpful Tip: Ground-force usually works well if you plan on using Karen's fire-attacks. This also applies to Joachim's 'Strong Earth'. For Blanca's Air Force combination magic, the third character must use High Hit. Finally, try and keep everyone alive -- simply use Yuri's fusions (if you have the right ones) to cure certain statuses, and ensure his SP doesn't fall below 12.

Like I said before, use Combinations. (sorry, I thought you were talkin about the part where you fight lenny as you exit bacon's house lol)
Equip all characters you'll be choosing with Bhodi Bracelets to evade paralysis.

DEFEATING THE CLAWED SOLDIERS (x18)
------------------------------------
1. Have Karen, Blanca, Yuri and Joachim in your team.
2. Tackle them without using too much MP; save it for the Boss. Use wide-range magic if you can hit two or more at the same time.
3. Concentrate on the characters' levels while choosing: I recommend Yuri and Blanca strongly, since they've both got good attacks.

IF you have got Cornelia's Fire-Class, this can also be useful (team Yuri, Blanca, Karen & Geppetto).

GODHAND (the Boss)

Unlike his alter ego, Godhand possesses quite a few clumsy moves, just like Lenny. To defeat him, it's probably wise to start using the Third Key(s) when you're quite low on health or supplies, though you can use 'em any time you want. Keep a high stock of supplies (namely Mana and Pure). When I got to Godhand, I equipped Blanca with healing Crests as well as Wind-Crests.
You will beat him -- it's just a matter of strategy.

a snake COULD eat itself if it felt suicidal :) I mean, really; if they can dislodge their jaw, they're capable of eating one another.
