Im not quite sure what your asking but if it's the part where you are fighting mother in her lair then you have to use the monography shot to get to her head and then hack away. She will eventually lower her head and the rest of the team can attack as well

I get her down by useing the sword that you get when you collet all dergelums and use the illusion sword hit her stomach and when she come down I swich swords to a stronger one and do it all over agian.
