Your weapons will go to level 99, then will fill up the exp. meter, then will stop gaining exp.
Your guns will go to level 99 then will fill the exp. Meter then will stop gaining exp.
They go to 10, then in challenge mode you can buy mega weapons and upgrade them to 99.

The highest level a weapon can reach is 99! You' d have to completely devote yourself to that weapon though to get it that far! I've devoted myself to the Dual Raptors, which at the current time, are at level 18.
Don't make fun of me because my weapon hasn't even reached level 20 yet! I'm a year 9 at school, which means a lot of homework and chores so I hardly get time to play!
I think I've done pretty good considering I only get around an hour a day on it!
Just for the record my dual raptors are level 64, my sniper rifle is level 99 and my shock blaster weopon thing is lv 99.Oh and my harbringer is lv 90.the weopons go up to level 99 then stop.As your upgrading them they will gain damage every level up to level 10.Then after that(once you buy the mega mod)they gain damge every 10 levels.At level 90 that is the last damge upgrade you can get.aslo the icon changes to dark purple when you get it to level 99.

Lvl. 99 like everyone else said but there is something they haven't said, that your weapons will have rainbow effect for every weapon thats on lvl. 99. hope that helped a lot.
