1. I am not sure how many. 2. You get them by completing secret tasks (google search ratchet deadlocked trading cards)3.They don't do anything but prove you have completed the task.

There are six.
1.Ace hardlight for getting 425,000 dread points
2.Evicerator for getting 100 nanotech
3.Shellshock for getting all weapons to level 10
4.Reactor for buying all mega weapons
5.Sluga (vox's pet) for beating all dread challenges on the hardest mode
6.Gleemen Vox forgetting all skill points
