You mean after you completed the first mission in planet Aranos, and you fly to a new mission in planet Oozla, it loaded for too long? It loaded for like, what, 1 minute? It's normal, or (if loaded for more time then 1 minute) you've been playin for so long that the PS2 processor is super hot. Save the game and turn off the console for an hour or so. Sometimes the PS2 needs to rest too. Take advantage to rest your head and sleep for a while.

If the loading never ended, it means you CD is destroyed.
