How do I beat Drek when he is in his big robot thing?

I would advise you to use the Devastator if facing him for the first time in a saved game. The RYNO would kill him in seconds flat, but it costs a huge 150,000 bolts. So, use the Devastator on him and, another piece of advice, on Gorda City(Oltanis)(the lightning level)explore one part of the level with Magneboots. Get out of your ship, go down with the elevator thing and go left. You will see a Magneboot path. Go on that and onto an elevator. Then, keep going through that part of the level. You will find "Steve"(Captain Qwark actually)and he wants to sell you a Gadgetron PDA(Personal Delivery Assistant). It lets you buy ammo at any time you want. When you are fighting Drek!! So, if your ammo levels run low, use the PDA and the Gadgetron vendor pops up on the screen. Ammo will cost more from the PDA than the original vendor, but trust me it is worth every penny!! Keep firing the Devastator at him and use the PDA to buy more ammo and you will defeat Drek! Hope this advice has proved useful!!!

Well I beat Drek by getting the Ultra Nanotech and I had 8 health. After that I used my devastator on him until I couldnt by ammo.I could only buy atleast 30 more bullets. Then I used my (Gold) Blaster against him so he had about 2 blocks of health left. When he had 2 blocks he started sending out bombs more and those little robot dudes. Because I had no ammo left I just grabbed my Suck Cannon and sucked my little enemies in. Then I started shooting him with it.


Note:you can suck in the mines too.

I really remembered all that because I only killed him this morning.

If you don't have the ryno use the devastator, the telsa claw, the blaster, and any other long range weapon you've got over and over and over and over again.

If you have a ryno you can defeat him very easy.
