Question for Ratchet & Clank

Is there an easier way to win the hoverboard race on kobas 3 because I keep trying and I can't slip into anything past 4th or 5th place

If you look carefully you'll see 3 rings at the end of the level that you can go through to unlock a shortcut, and there is another shortcut later on in the level you can open by going through another 3 rings, but if you still can't do much better using them, try and follow the robots that are racing as they normally take the shortest route, and then blow them up and pass them.

There is the most excellant short cut that takes you acroos half the level. You have to get some boost with the zoomerator and launch yourself onto the side platform by the first big jump.

Get early boost on the zoomerator and then when the really big jump comes up with the devastator next to it you jump up to the platform on the right and follow the path it will take you across half the level.

hit the boosts and get the rocets and shoot the other guys. It adomaticly targets if you can see them.
