If you mean how to defend, press and hold the X button to try and take the ball from the opponent. If you hold the Square button at the same time, another player from your team (controlled by the PlayStation) will run to help you.

You can also try pressing Square alone, which works perfectly with correct timing, but you might receive a card. (;

Finally, if you press the Triangle button, the goalkeeper will come out of his area and run towards the ball.
