Question:

Is there a hacker who can open up stubborn PS2 corrupted saves t

AGI

Date of Question: Feb 14 2009 | Question ID: 138603

The four saves ar all on three Sony memory card and are of two games: Game A and Game B.In the beginning there was only one memory card, so occupied: Game A on the first slot; Game B on the second and the third slot.
Some "History", now.
The second of July, 2006, the memory card forgotten inserted in the consolle, I overwrote Game A with Game B third slot.
As a consequence, the three slots were non more accessible to th consolle browser.
But three month later these corrupted saves spit out a portion of Game B, which I developed through two years and to the eighteenth year of publication of the Magazine; until 2008, May the 31th (and then I had my back covered with no back-up) when humidity did it's filthy work at the moment of saving.
Until now, two data recovery firm have failed to undo the mess, even after 24 days of clean room and I thought I was lucky when I received back the devices unharmed. This was a breach of the rules every time, being memory card and not HD what they had treated, but I had spoken like this to them:sure, you are state of the art but if your instruments and your techniques aren't up to the work today, maybe they'll be in two, five, ten years from now: so, if you, after a lenght of time, give me back something on which you, in two, five, ten years from now, could work, I'll say 'YO'again.
What if I wouln't want waiting so long to see "my boys" again?I have to take some action before the game ceases to interest me, even if I am on it since May 2006.
What I'm looking for is the Mother of all the Cheats and the help I'm looking of, now the 'official medicine' have failed me, is that not some charlatans but hackers could provide.
Think of it as a videogame: a game carried out through the years not in vitual space but in the real world, against the consumerism preached by Sony and the indifference of the videogames industry; one outcome will exclude all the others ones and there is not the way to reset the consolle to play from the start a new game.
Moreover, the comp wiz who'll open up these saves will be the first in History having done this feat.
