How do you open the whirlpool I keep trying with the whirlwind but it wont open?

How are you using the wind? If you are blowing sideways ore something it wont work. Try drawing a spiral.

Well...all you have to do is first,go to the island just off the coast.Look in you're map..you will see a blue cirlce on that island.Get to that island,use catwalk and get to the top.From there,make it night,go to the man standing there,talk to him a couple of times then draw a dot in the sky.This dot will become a shooting star and the man will wish for the sky to be beatiful again and you can see a whirlpool like galaxy in the sky.Go to the watchers cape(the blue spot on the island)look up,and draw a sideways wind.The galaxy will start spining.Draw some more gusts of wind and the whirlpool will open....Hope I helped...

Okami is a great game!!!It is so easy.If you play it,chances are you will finish the game,without even dying,once!
