As far as I am aware, nobody on Ryoshima Coast is looking for a dog. However, assuming that you are talking about the one man who has lost his pet rabbit, you can find that rabbit by heading upwards towards Sei-an City and taking a right at the gate. You should see a small clearing that will either have a demon gate within it if you have not destroyed it, or is a small alcove filled with trees and flowers if you have already removed of the demon gate. Look for the rabbit with the black on it - there is only one of them - and pick it up. Now all you need to do is inch over to the edge of the cliff (don't try going back down the path as you will drop the rabbit after a certain distance). Be careful to make sure you don't drop the rabbit otherwise you'll have to go and find it again. Once you're at the edge of the cliff, drop the rabbit down, jump down yourself and then pick it up once again and take it to the man. Hope I helped.
