you cant get to the minesz untill you have completed other tasks for later on in the game you will be allowed to enter them but not untill you have finished other quests first.

Wait- are you defeating the ixis? Cus if you are..then...
Ummm you dont. Remember when you had to like...jump on the little cliffs or something? Anyway, on the last one there's a ladder on the side. Go down the ladder and jump to the other..."cliff" then go up the path and kill all the ixis. Go to the water wheel thing and up the ladder on the side. Use the lever and go back to the last cliff thing you jumped off of, the one with the ladder. Go up the ladder and to the water wheel, only, in front of it, with the ramp. It should be turning. Jump on the platform thing when it comes toward you, then...just keep o going, I think? You should see like...a cart with a pile of sticks in front of it. Hit the sticks 3 times, then go into the camp (camp?) and defeat the ixis, then defeat the grey guy. Hes pretty easy...just keep hitting him and ignore the archers, when the archers come. Remember to save you're game and grab the eye patch :D and go back to cogham village. OH YEAH and if you picked up the pulsing seed, give it to elspeth. I FORGOT TO both times no...three times and so now I'm stuck in bogshot...
