L3 and r3 is the left anolog and right anolog (pushed down)

Ah, a simple question, but what you are asking about is really confusing isn't it? Anyway, to put it simple, the L3 button, is really the left Analog stick, and you press it when it tells you to by pushing it in. The R3 button is actually the Right analog stick, and you push it the same way that you do the Left analog stick. Hope this helps.
