The question everyone ask is who to control on defense, I would say control the LB or a defensive lineman. The AI for madden 2004 is very intuitive, My interceptions are possible because of good playcalling, I use a lot of dime defense which I get most of my interceptions. Dont worry about controlling a player for ints, just control the LB or lineman but you have to swim move and spin to get free to get to the QB, it is quite a task to do so but trust me thats what I do. I have gotten as much as 6 ints in one game (all madden difficulty) against the rams would you believe. However if you can get ints swat the ball, when the qb releases a pass keep pressing l1 to swat. Remeber use dime, such as double wide, underman, zone man x, double x , double z and so on, and trust me you will get ints! I use double wide most of the time! Hope this will help u!
