I beat the moles mission but I can't beat the high score. Can the coin magnet get the 15 coins or do I have to try and beat it?

I'm not sure, but I don't think so. I can't beat the highscore either, well actually, I only beat it once but I only got like 32 and then it said try to get 62!!! So I just went along. Anyway, I'm not sure but if you want to get some more coins I've heard that in King of New York you walk on Marty's treadmill for like two minutes and it'll give you some coins-- if you didn't already try that. : ]
